"Oh, now that's just rude," she said simply, draining the rest of her whiskey sour from the glass and slipping it back onto the counter. Her eyes turned back to the vampire, her grin not subsiding even if her eyes seemed to harden slightly. He knew nothing about her, and assumed that she was there to start trouble. Before she left the city she was actually a pretty regular patron of Las Noches, whether he believed her or not. Stirring in Raven's lap as she felt his arms slip about her waist, giving her a tight squeeze, she grinned back at him, running one hand back through her black curls to get them out of her face before turning back to the vampire.

"Well, the next time you see Rogue, let her know that Kerrigan stopped by. Even in this city, it isn't a crime to stop by to see an old friend, you know. Now, why don't you be a good little boy and stop harassing the paying customers. If we wanted trouble, you better believe you would have seen it by now," she said simply, one hand going to her waist as she glanced back at Raven. Even though it had always been like this, she felt a soft pang of resentment towards those that exposed the different races to the general public. Sure, they had always been at war, but before all that stuff went down, there were still some friendships that transcended race and weren't looked down upon. Now, it seemed everyone was so paranoid about everyone else that getting in to talk to anyone was a royal pain in the a**. Raven's arms slid about her waist, giving her a tight squeeze - a gesture that, despite herself, made her break into a soft fit of laughter

At that point, she pretty much dismissed him, turning back to Raven and giving him a soft thwap on the shoulder.

"Damn right you won't leave. You just remember who you are in this relationship. And don't call me 'dear'. You know it's ma'am," she said with a chuckle, crossing her legs as she leaned back on him in his lap. If the vampire was still there, he was going to have a hard time getting them to budge. Sure, he was intimidating but she was far from fragile herself. If they started it, she couldn't get in trouble for retaliating by Rogue or Edith.

Veroen chuckled at the girls remarks. She may have been a friend of Rogues, but Veroen did not want the boy snooping in territory he did not belong in.

'Kerrigan...'
he thought to himself. He recognized her name, though he did not recognize her appearance. He knew of her from long ago, when he was still in league with Alasdair.

Veroen chuckled again at the girls arrogance.

"You mistake me for someone who works here, my little nosy Hunters. Indeed if you had wanted trouble, you would be smarter than to start it here."

Veroen was well aware of some sort of desire to get in the back areas, where only certain Coven members were allowed. Hunters were known to snoop where they shouldn't. By no means did Veroen carry any hatred for these two, but the fact that the boy wanted in the back areas was something that needed to be corrected. It seemed as though the boy was here to possibly start trouble, and Veroen would not tolerate it.

He simply stood in the same spot, waiting for a reaction to his words.

Chuckling along with the vampiress, Marcus slightly distracted with Kerrigan pressing closer into his body. "Yes, m'am." He cooed as he glanced over to the barkeep and motion for a refill. "More Gimlet, please." Of course, the man was drinking water prior, but the gentleman didn't know that. "You tell 'em, m'am." He then chimed as he watch his tumbler vanish to be filled once more with his usual drink. Adjusting himself somewhat to take out a five from his bundle he flaunted to the one-eyed man, Marcus continued to grin at the man and nodded in agreement to Kerrigan's comment.

"It ain't a crime. Like the miss said, if we wanted trouble, ye'd have it." Marcus said, once more letting a few of his words slur a bit to keep up the appearance of some level of intoxication. It was clear though the man wasn't buying it, but that wasn't going to stop the Hunter from stopping. In fact, he enjoyed playing the part of the fool. Yes, it gets him in trouble quite a bit, but it has it's benefits.

"Like I said, ye can keep yer secret clubhouse. I just wanna see what was inside and check out any peep shows you might be keepin' there. Ain't a crime for a man to indulge in a bit of curiosity." Especially when there is this much resistance for simply watching the door. "Anyways, I tried, I failed, I gave up on it. Yer the one who seems to be wantin' trouble, sir." Marcus wore a smile of sinister intent as his eyes narrowed. Though he has been holding on to the charade of the playful drunk, he was actually getting a bit tired of the man's constant down talking. For the briefest of moments, the Hunter's face flashed that of a dangerous expression before breaking into a silly smile with a droopy appearance.

"So if it's alright with you. My friend and I will simply enjoy ourselves 'ere at this bar and do a little catch up. You go on ahead and enjoy your clubhouse. Won't be seein' any trouble from us, unless you want it."

Veroen simply smiled at the corner of his mouth at the boys reaction. Veroen had made it clear that the boy knew better than to snoop around in the back areas of the bar/club.

Veroen in his mind was growing tired of this situation. It was pretty clear that Veroen was in the Coven, and of higher enough status to enter the back areas of Las Noches.

He glanced back at the Vampire bouncers that were guarding the door that led to the VIP section.

Good. They had been watching the whole time.

Veroen turned back to the two Hunters, and sealed the deal.

"Well keep your noses out of things that are not of your concern. This is Coven territory, and you need to remember it."

This was poorly said, but it was enough for the bouncers to buy it.

Veroen did not care whether the two Hunters would stop snooping or not in all honesty.

He turned around without waiting for either of them to reply, and made his way back to the back of the club, and stopped in front of the two bouncers.

He was unsure if it was common knowledge that Veroen and Alasdair were now enemies, but if it was then Veroen would not have been allowed here.

Now it was completely clear that Veroen was on the side of the Coven. Or, at least it seemed to be that way.

Veroen cocked an eyebrow at the two bouncers, and waited for them to make a reaction to Veroen's conversation with the two Hunters.

One bouncer fidgeted and spoke to Veroen in a deep voice.

"Good job spotting that Hunter staring at this entrance sir. We had thought that you were not allowed here, but I guess that was old news. We are pleased to see that you have come back to the logic of Alasdair's ideas."

Veroen simply nodded in untruthful agreement.

The bouncer that spoke, stepped to the side to let Veroen enter his pass code into the keypad at the side of the door.

Veroen casually entered the number that he hoped was still the pass key, and the door unlocked successfully.

Veroen looked at the two bouncers and nodded at them, and made his way into the door, which shut behind him. He then quickly examined the staircase with his crimson eye, and began his descent down the stairs.

He didn't want to harass the two Hunters, but it was necessary to keep his profile as an active member of the Coven. He was no longer a true ally to the Coven and its cause, for one reason: love. He had chosen his love for Edith over the love for the power that the Coven had desired, mainly Alasdair.

He shook his head as he continued down the staircase, and deeper into the heart of the "VIP Section".

Kerrigan watched the vampire walk away towards the VIP room, not sure if that was where he was heading to begin with, or if he was just trying to spite them in some nonverbal way. Of course, it wouldn't work with her - she had been back there before with Rogue and knew exactly what went on back there. Even though she was a vampire, she still didn't like most of the things that went on back there. It wasn't until the door closed behind him, the guards once more looking out into the dancing crowd that her smile faded slightly, slipping off Raven's lap as the bartender brought her another whiskey sour.

"Well, he was just a regular ray of sunshine," she muttered, paying the tender for the drink before turning to look at Raven with her glistening green eyes in the ever changing light. Leaning on the bar counter, she took a sip of her drink, looking from him out onto the dance floor of moving bodies. It was easy for her now to pick out who was preying on who, though she knew there was nothing she could do about it while she was in the club. Incidents had certainly gone down though - especially since non-vampires hardly ever visited the club since they heard the rumors that it was owned by the Coven. Blessings sometimes came disguised, she guessed. Turning her attention back to Raven, she gave him a fanged grin, shaking her head so her curls bounced playfully about her shoulders.

"You're almost more trouble than me, you know that? Edith's really gonna love you, " she said with a laugh, downing the rest of her whiskey sour to set the empty glass down on the counter once more. Human Kerrigan could hold her liquor - vampire Kerrigan was just downright dangerous in a drinking game. However, as the tender made a move to refill the drink, she waved him off.

Peter's stood out in the streetlight.. he chuckled slightly

So the mighty Veroen is in the game as well... I wonder which side he will pick when the blood falls.. will he know Seduction is a hunter, will he side with the gentlemen that's fallowed her, or will he stand back to hold his cover?... I wonder.. what if he attacks Seduction, we where ordered to protect her.. what if we have to stand between him and her. I haven't been able to stretch my limbs in a while, It would be fun..

'No, Eden said Veroen's off hunting, He's no target of ours.'

Miss Eden, said we don't hunt him.. she never said fight.. besides.. with me.. I think it would be an even match.

'You do not fight him. Understand?'

And so what, show him the disrespect of turning down a challenge?

'You do not fight him, you do not push him into a fight. you want this job. I know you do.. now. stand down. That's an order.'

... The first time in centuries I find someone worth facing.. and I'm pulled back on a lease.. these are the signs that the world is coming to an end.

'... It's alright, their will be more, ones that deserve destruction.'

A being like Veroen deserves a challenge in this world..

'Your forgetting, he's immortal, his challenge is the world, In all it's corruptness and evil, it is his challenge.. As it is ours.'

....You are not as simple minded as the rest of your kind Peter, I'm fortunate to have come across you.

'Yeah, and I'm fortunate to have you in my system as well... but thank you for the compliment.'

The stripper swore inwardly. She had revealed she was armed, and he was phoning for backup. She still had Peter nearby though... and a phone of her own. She continued her dancing, spotting the new vampire enter the VIP section. She smiled at him, for some reason she couldn't quite place.

Finally, her shift came to an end. At the end of the current song, she stepped off of the platform, and after retrieving it from coat check, donned her black trenchcoat, before going out the back door that led directly between the VIP and the streets. She caught up to Peter, grinning widely before extending her hand for the duffle bag.

Marcus kept his goofy smile on his face as the man disappeared into the VIP lounge and the bouncers, who seemed to welcome the man, settled back into position. Once he was sure the one eyed vampire was gone, his face went slack as he carried a frown and took a quick swig of his gin and lime juice. Glancing over to his companion as she settled down next to him, Marcus grunted and shrugged his shoulder to the comment.

"I wasn't looking for trouble." He said as he glanced at his glass and then finished it with a final gulp of the drink. "But then again, trouble doesn't need to be looked for in order to run into it." He grunted at the amusing thought as he shrugged once more and raised his empty glass for a refill. "Anywho, thanks for the back up. Didn't think you would show up so soon. Guess I should explain why I'm here and what's up."

Feeling the weight of his raised glass gain weight, Marcus took it down and took another quick sip of his drink. Usually Marcus didn't drink, but tonight he felt a need for a change of pace. He's been sober for quite some time. Especially after his first encounter with the creatures of the night. Now though, Marcus wanted to drink. He wanted to drink to wash away the annoyance he felt inside him from that vampire.

"Before cyclops showed up, I was simply chillin' and watching over the folks, guessing who's who and was gonna pick my prey." He shrugged as he took another sip of the alcohol. "Then a gentleman appeared. Had a beer, yet he seemed to carry himself differently than these common bloodsuckers. Something like our cyclops." Marcus smiled as he thought about the new nickname for their new friend. "Anyways, I watched him go into the VIP section and figured to follow him. That's when I was turned away for being human and not being one of the 'elite'. Either way, I planned on waiting on him leaving. Keep watch from here." A sigh escaped Marcus as he finished his drink once more in one quick gulp.

"That's when cyclops came and began harassing me about 'do not want this' or some crap like that. Anywho, you were there for the rest. Either way, wasn't aimin' for trouble; trouble just has way of finding me. Though something just didn't feel right about the beer drinker." He shrugged as he lowered his empty tumbler glass and pulled out another five dollar bill and placed it next to the glass. Leaning back from the counter and stretching some, Marcus stole a glance at the Vampiress next to him and gave a loop-sided smile.

"Did you take a shower before coming? You smell." Marcus grinned as a thought suddenly hit him. His grin began to fade as he glanced at the VIP lounge once more and then to his companion. "Question: Does the VIP have any other entrances?" And just as his smirk faded, another one spread across his face only this time it held a more mischievous feel to it.

Veroen sighed out loud as he continued his decent down the staircase. He grew tired of being a part of something like this. The Coven had indeed become corrupt. Many Vampires had become nothing but selfish, self-indulging scum. Edith had awakened a human-ish part of him that had been dormant ever since he was inducted into the ancient Assassins Clan, over 500 years ago, before he was even a Vampire. Then his brother and sister were killed, leaving him with nothing.

He stopped for a moment as a flashback of the horrifying night consumed his inner thoughts.

After a few long moments, he shook his head with an expression of anguish, then continued down the staircase.

He didn't quite know why he was here, but he had no other choice but to see what his long time friend had told him, during his absence from New York.

'The Coven is deceitful, my friend. You know this to be true. Alasdair was the first, but will not be the last to show you this...'

Gavriel's words rang in Veroens head as he remembered them clearly.

'They lied, they cheated, they provoked conflicts that were unnecessary, to cover up their own deeds.'

Veroen stopped at a door, and opened it slowly.

The room was empty and completely dark except for a light coming from a computer screen.

'My friend, your friends are not who you think they are. They did not save you, they destroyed you.'

He closed the door behind him, and quietly made his way to the lit up computer screen.

He sighed, as he began to crack his way into the Coven database. The process did not take as long as expected. Being an Assassin meant to be skilled in many arts; even the art of being a hacker.

He began to read information that he could see. After searching, he found a document. The document was a journal of the woman who had saved him from the Lycans that had killed his siblings. He began to read it.

Veroen's eye narrowed, as he became frantic to search for the day of his turning.

He stopped, and his face became whiter than it ever had before. A grave expression polluted his face as he continued to read the journal entry.

'They lied to you my friend, Lycans are not your enemy. The very Coven that saved you are actually the ones that ruined you.'

Gavriel's voice rang in Veroen's head as he continued to read.

Veroen gritted his teeth, and clenched his fist as he stopped reading.

It was not Lycans that killed his family, it was the very Vampiress that he had thought saved him, that destroyed everything he had left.

Veroen stood up suddenly, and smashed his fist into the computer screen, causing a crackle of electricity, darkening the room. His eye grew darker than the very darkness in the room. He stood there for a few minutes marinating in his darkened thoughts.

He gritted his teeth and let out a deep growl that rattled his body.

Turning toward the door suddenly, he kicked the door open like it was made of cloth.

With a quickened pace he made his way back up the staircase until he got to the door that he had entered to get into the VIP section. He stopped, and opened it with clenched fists, letting the sound of the club surround him.

His blinding rage had consumed him.

The very bouncer that he had spoken to moments before, turned and began to say something, but before he could do so, Veroen had a single hand around the bouncers throat in the blink of an eye. Veroen's eye was now consumed in blackness, like dark pits that lead to oblivion.

The other bouncer was quick to retaliate to Veroen's action. He lunged at Veroen, but Veroen was too quick for him. Turning his head from the choking ouncer in his hand, he slammed his elbow into the other bouncer's face with amazing speed and strength, causing the bouncer to stumble back-wards while clutching his face in pain.

Veroen turned to the one in his hand, and smashed his fist into the bouncers face with equal strength and speed, knocking the bouncer out cold. Veroen simply loosened his grip, and let the bouncer drop to the floor, and turned around just in time to see the other bouncer lunge at him once more, this time with an angrier expression on his face.

But to charge an Assassin out of anger was foolish.

Veroen moved to the side just as the bouncer got inches from him, resulting in the bouncer running straight into the wall headfirst. Veroen was quick to end it, as he hammered the top of the bouncers head with his fist, knocking him out cold as well.

Several of the people in the club had stopped to watch the rather short fight. Veroen turned to them all with his teeth bared, and with an eye like a black endless pit. He then began a heavy, yet quickened stride towards the back exit.

On his way to it, he glanced back at Marcus and Kerrigan, to whom he had acted rude to earlier to keep his cover, which was now completely gone. His expression did not change, and he made eye contact with both of them for a second with his darkened gaze. He had been completely consumed in anguish and fury.

However, he had no quarrel with them, and still remembered it in his furious state of mind. So, he continued towards the door, and shoved it open forcefully, almost breaking its hinges as he did so.

He made his way down the alley next to the Club, towards the city. As he did so, he passed Peter and Amber, without even acknowledging them for even a second. His life was now twisted into a giant lie.

Marcus's smile weakened some as a familiar face was caught by his peripherals, emerged from the VIP lounge. "Uh oh, looks like Mr. Cyclops is up to something..." But before Marcus could even finish that portion of the sentence, the two bouncers who were watching the entrance were down. Instinctively sliding off his stool and his hand already withdrawing his Jericho pistol, Marcus watched with interest as the one-eyed vampire rush past them, their eyes meeting and unflinching before he vanished through the doorway out to the city. Keeping his pistol low and away from public view, Marcus adjusted his grip around the handle as he glanced over to Kerrigan with a grin that could only be matched with the fictional Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.

"Well, looks like we got a mad vampire now outside of vampire territory runnin' a muck in the city. Shall we go forth and play good guys?" The hunter asked eagerly, his body ready to break into a sprint should they decide to take pursuit. "I'm sure your Rogue friend would appreciate us capturing the Cyclops, especially after what he did to her guards." His gaze then briefly went to the three men who were still on the ground, motionless. Already other staffers of the bar gathered around the fallen men while the dance group stopped and began chattering amongst themselves of what they saw. The music however still continued to play its hard techno beats.

Jack watched her leave, he slowly rose to his feet and made his way to the back door. He slipped a hundred dollar bill to the head bouncer who had let him into the VIP area, 'For your troubles mate.' He said as he made his way out the door. The bouncer smiled and nodded.

Jack kept to the shadows, he was not ready for a direct confrontation, yet. He watched as the dancer as she joined a man, he gave her a large duffle bag. By the way it it hang in her hand Jack judged it to be quite heavy. 'Probably a weapon.' He thought to himself.

He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out his pistol, he carefully screwed on a silencer before checking it was loaded. He replaced the pistol in its holster. 'Just in case.'

At that moment a stranger burst out the door and headed up the alley past the two he was watching, Jack was well concieved and the man did not notice him, but by the way he carried himself Jack knew this guy was serious trouble, and he looked Pissed. He stayed motionless and waited for the newcomer to depart the alleyway.

As he said he wasn't looking for trouble, Kerrigan grinned at him, raising an eyebrow towards him in a clearly amused expression. She knew what he meant about trouble seeming to find them unintentionally - lord knows she was the queen of finding it back in her day. Listening to him calmly as she reclined back on the bar, she shot him a soft glare as he commented on her smell, the dark-haired vampiress letting a soft hiss escape from between her fangs.

"You know, you got some nerve for telling me I smell when you came out dressed like that," she said, her offended air quickly melting into one of play. She was about to tell him about the other entrances when a sudden disturbance across the dance floor caught her attention. The same vampire that told them not to start trouble in Coven territory only moments before, emerged from the very subject of their discussion, taking out several bouncers before he stormed out of the club. Several of the dancers were obviously startled by what just happened in front of them, girls clustering into groups for protection, while men held onto some women tight. She thought she saw the man glance at herself and Marcus before he left, but it all happened so quickly that she couldn't be sure.

Marcus was already on his feet, Kerrigan straightening up once more, getting ready to take her jacket off in case something went down. However, it seemed that the very vampires he was swearing allegiance to in the beginning were now his targets as he took no one else down but the bouncers. Glancing over at Raven, his cheshire smile mirrored only by the mischievous glint of her own piercing eyes, watching as small groups started to form around the motionless bodies of the guards. This was one strong vampire - even she had to admit that.

"Well, we can't have him stalking through the streets in that kind of mood, now can we. Best to slip out unnoticed," she responded, slipping payment for her last drink onto the bar before giving Raven a small wink and stepping out into the now relatively empty dance floor. She managed her way through the various crowds, her heels still muffled by the beating techno music until she was out the front door, pausing to wait for her companion. A being that strong would certainly take the two of them if a fight was eminent.

Your friend Veroen looks, whats the word... troubled..

'... If he's smart he'll head to Eden's.. Haven would be the safest place after what it sounded like he did to the bouncers.. '

He's quick for his size, and he still carries the power in his attacks.. I like that... his furry fills the air with the aroma of rage, it strong.. almost overpowering.. but Peter do you smell that underneath it. Do you scent what I can, or does my person taking your body dull your senses?

'Yes, I can smell him. In this ally there is no breeze, If he was down wind I wouldn't have noticed him, or the scent of the metal in his hand.. the smallest sounds of his coat sleeve rustling in his movements as he attaches the silencer, the thing these people don't know about silencers.. they slow down the bullet, soften the blow...'

Notice his hesitation.. how he move's.. If he was here to take us out then the silencer would have been attached much quicker, and his movements much more sure. He wouldn't be focused on avoiding us, he'd be focused on taking the head shots... He's being to cautious for an assassin, unless he thinks it a trap. But in coven territory? Doubtful.. he's not here to kill, observe maybe .. possible even make contact.

'Unless he is here to make sure we don't go to far.. or is here to press us into a trap.'

Possible. But they would have more people to press us into their net.. not a single man cautiously wielding a silencer.. he's here to make sure things go as planned.. something involving confrontation as a last resort I think.

Peter leaned close to Amber as she took the bag from his hand. Whispering in her ear, ever so slightly, so even she would barely hear him.

"Your friend fallowed you.. He's waiting for something, armed but not drawn.. Do you know what is going on here Amber?"

Amber gave Peter a big smile, and tilted her chin downwards... giving a convincing act that he had given her some flirtations compliment. She guided his arm to rest on her waist, indicating silently that he should just act natural and follow her. She turned the corner, continuing to walk nonchalantly down the sidewalk. Her black, three-inch heels produced a rythmic clicking sound on the concrete, the trenchcoat rustling ever so slightly with her movement.
