[Splint screamed as Spadestripe climbed his body with her sharp, hooked claws. The pain, her wight, and his tired wings gave out and the both of them went free falling. Splint tried to defend his soft neck by pecking her in the face. The two of them crashed through the old, barn roof and into a pile of hay. Splint tried to scramble to his feet but Spadestripe had clawed it up well, making it painful to stand on. Splint glared the she cat in the eyes, his heart pounding.] "That hurt!!! You will pay for that cat!!" [He yelled in anger to her as he hobbled to his feet and squawked his battle cry to the orange she cat in front of him.]

[Blade turned and gawked as his rival and a she cat came crashing through the roof of the barn.] "Splint! You idiot! Be more careful!!! You might hit your head and end up like Hook!" [He shouted to him. Splint glared at Spadestripe, trapped in a standstill with her. He was determined to win this. Blade frowned, sensing this.] "Splint? dont do something stupid..." Splint: "Quiet Blade, you always tell me what i can and cannot do! This is my fight and you will stay out of this!" [Despite Blade's warning Splint shrieked in anger and lunged at the spotted she cat, talons out stretched.]

((Comet, im not sure if cat's can use human tools, no matter how clever and epic that would be! but she CAN still use them to her advantage by moving out of the way of a pointed object as an enemy attacks. wink ))

 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze heard voices shouting. His head was muffled behind curtains of pain, but he shifted and opened his eyes. His chest hurt, and there were scratches and small splinters of wood stuck in his stomach. He growled. He hated splinters.
Raising his head, Embergaze heard Blade stand up and shout. He quickly rose to his feet, wincing at the pain. His vision blurred into redness, but he stood up, eyes weary. The pain ebbed, and a rush of adrenaline relinquished most of the sharpest pangs. Embergaze narrowed his eyes and growled, his teeth glinting in the beams of light from the hole in the roof.
Lashing his tail, Embergaze slowly crept around the eagle, keeping his head low. Without warning, he pounced, leaping onto the eagle's back and gouging into its flesh with his sharp claws. He yowled and attacked its head, swarming around its neck area in desparation. He bit deep into the eagle's neck, trying to wrench and twist the eagle's head.]

[Blade glared in anger as Splint completely ignored his warnings. He heard the paw steps of Embergaze returning to his feet for another attack when he sprung, latching onto him, he was ready this time. The large and powerful bird flung itself backwards, slamming Embergaze into the hard barn wall. Once he had repeatedly smashed him into the wall, loosening his grip he turned suddenly and pining him down to the wooden floor using his own wait to stand on top if him. His flesh bled and dripped upon Embergaze's face as Blade glared murderously into his bright eyes.] "Dont think i forgot about the last time we met, and on top of that cracking my beautiful beak this time. I plan on repaying you for what you did. Now lets see, if i remember correctly you attacked my wings... and i also believe you clawed up my chest..." [Blade began to claw at the tom's open chest underneath the eagle's large talons.] "And what i remember the most was how viciously you attacked my neck..." [Blade eyed the tom's neck. Slowly he drew his cracked beak closer, aiming to make him suffer as he had suffered.]
[As Splint dove for the orange cat he was SURE that he had her right where he wanted her. To his surprise she above out of the way of his clutches right at the last second, causing him to keep going and crash into the wall and several old, rusty farming tools. Splint could feel his wing being stabbed by a pointed rake as he collapsed to the floor in pain from the impact with the wall.] "You dirty cat! You planed that didnt you!? I will get you back for that!" [He attempted to take flight but his pierced wing ached far to much.] "Cat dung!!"

"To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze hissed as he was slammed into the wall, his eyes narrowing as he burrowed deeper into the eagle's flesh. Suddenly he was thrown onto the floor and he yowled as pain dug into him. However, he heard nothing Blade said. His ears were muffled with a roaring in his viens.
An instinct pounded through his veins that was so primal and ancient that he was hardly able to resist it.
Live.
Embergaze let out an infeline (similar to inhuman? ) roar. He pushed back and thrust the eagle off of him, leaping towards him with his fiery eyes ablaze. He slammed into the eagle with all his might, planning on trapping the bird.
It worked. The eagle flew into the wall, causing shelves of random items to fall on his head with a crashing sound. As the eagle squawked and struggled out of the rubble, Embergaze spun around. Hauntednight and Spadestripe were battling Splint, he realized, but two eagles was too much.]
Quickly, he bounded past the two, shouting, "Hold them off for a few more moments, and then flee! I'm taking Moonkit back!
[The purpose of coming was to rescue Moonkit. Despite Embergaze's hatred towards the eagle, it was obvious his strength was waning, and killing for bloodlust was never his thing. He grabbed Moonkit by the scruff and galloped out of the barn as Blade recovered, streaking across the territory towards BreezeClan.
He bounded into camp, Moonkit in tow, and quickly limped to the medicine den. He dropped the kit a bit recklessly and gasped.
He collapsed on the ground in the medicine den, panting and moaning in pain. His chest was on fire! Pain swelled and pricked into his skin, and he winced and continued moaning in pain, eyes squeezed shut.]
(( He's got a/some broken rib(s) and a few gashes/splinters. The rib(s) is/are fractured/cracked, not completely broken off/crushed. ))

[Spadestripe blinked in surprise. This was it! Her chance! The eagle was too wounded to fly- it would be just one more move! Spadestripe blinked, hearing small voices of her past echoing in her mind.]
"Kill it, Spadestripe."
[Spadestripe remembered the scene immediately. Dicefoot, when an apprentice, had wounded a bird, and demanded that Spadestripe kill it as her first prey. Spadestripe had been in massive shock beforehand due to Doveflight's attempt to drown her own kit, and had refused to kill anything.]
"B-But, I...I can't!"
[Spadestripe found her paws limping forwards, slowly gaining speed. Everything seemed to go in slow motion for her as she started to limp-run forwards. She turned at the beginning of her dash and screeched at Hauntednight.]
"RUN! RUN, NOW!"
"Spadekit, everything has to die one day. Sometimes, for terrible things. You don't want them to go on doing terrible things, do you?"
[Spadestripe picked up running, blue eyes blazing like twin fires of determination.]
"No, I don't."
[Spadestripe bunched her muscles as she lowered herself to the ground, preparing to leap at Splint.]
"Then you must learn to kill. If you cannot take lives, you cannot save them either."
[Spadestripe leaped into the air, claws unsheathed, with a cry of bloody fury. She landed on the bird and slashed as best she could at the eagle's neck.]
You have to kill it.
Think of when you saw Serpentfang come in, with Lostkit's dead body and Smokekit covered in wounds.
Think of when you gave birth, and Goldenkit didn't move.
[Spadestripe's mind filled with the grotesque images of her son's corpse and the still kit that she gave birth to, and clawed with renown determination. Her face was screwed up in raw rage, part of her wanting to break down into weeping for her lost sons.]

Which reminds me, hauntednight came to grab moonkit and that's already done. I'll have to edit.}} ((Actually he was fighting Blade as well. lol i think he is still there, is just that Haunted hasn't posted. ))
