Pen re-adjusted her stance and faced Luciano head on. The group was coming up fast so she was going to make this quick. She looked down for a moment and with a serious look started to state what the problem was.
"I am focus on the mission. I'm trying to get my team mates back and keep the ones I have still safe." She swung her cast out of the sling and took a breath. Staring at the ground to reassemble her thoughts. Whipping her head back up she moved closer to Luciano with a threatening intent.
"Yet no matter what the situation, I get picked up like a little girl and told to sit still." Her voice raised slightly but then remembering the earlier occasion it became stronger. Her tired and usually relaxed expression became twisted with anger.
"Like you said we don't have time for this. I always appreciated all of what you have done, but for once can you just trust me! This is no time to have doubts. Yet I have this feeling you don't think I can handle myself." The cast flew up and what fingers that was free formed a fist, and was held up at shoulder height.
"Commander I'm a member of the Black OPs." The cast then punched the door of the building. "Brother, can you trust me?!"

As Sabe kept walking to catch up, his limp began to be more like a trudge. A sudden wave of apathy washed over him as he preferred to block out the situation by distracting himself. Counting the steps he was taking and pretending it would be the number of future vacation days, thinking about his wedding which he knew Colbur will bug him incessantly about as it was scheduled to be within two weeks... Anything that kept his mind off of what he was doing now seemed to work.
Waffle was already ahead of Sabe, but she would look back once in a while to make sure the stragglers didn't turn into the stranded. Upon looking back again, she noticed just exactly the kind of damage Sabe suffered. At this rate, I don't think he would be able to show up for any more missions. Kinda like what happened to Mandi, almost. Speaking of which.....what the hell is going through Skotti's head right now?! Doesn't he have any kind of remorse, or did they screw with that too?
A very jaded look made its way onto her face as she sped up her pace. Sabe tried to catch up, but nagging chest and leg pains kept him from doing too much more.

The moment Pen began to look at him with a threatening intent, Luciano growled at her, "You have two commanding officers, so I'm replaceable. But you're ******** not. None of you are replaceable. That's how important all of you are to this group." Luciano clenched his jaw, and he said, getting into her face a little "I don't expect you to ******** understand why I handle things the way I do, but when I ******** tell you- any of you- to go on without me, you give me a 'Yes, Commander' then ******** do as you're told." Luciano pulled away and stood straight and tall, when Pen asked him if he could trust her, Luciano remembered the time Pen disappeared on them after they had gotten out of the Mental Hospital, and then he remembered when Pen had tried to step up to him after the Kuros gave himself and Skotti an Order to do something; Something the team wasn't supposed to know. Remembering that made him clench his jaw, he said to her, "I'll give you a ******** answer when you give me a reason to," Luciano took out his gun, "until then do your ******** job, Penelope." Luciano then began to walk away. He kept his jaw clenched and awaited for everyone else to catch up.

Aly looked up from her musing to realize she was lagging quite a bit behind. She picked up pace thinking, the sooner this is done the better. Hopefully those 'I'll ignore my wounds' fools won't make this whole thing take even longer because they can't stand on their own two legs...Sheesh for military people they are so narrow minded. Though maybe that's why they're military people and I'm not. Makes me wonder why I signed up for this and not the world tour punishment. Finally she slowed down as she neared Luciano and Pen. Once she was there, she stared pointedly at the shot that Pen had received, she had to fight the urge to reach into one of her pockets and bring out her medicated bandages and healing ointment.

By the time the rest of the group had caught up with Pen and Luc, they had just finished another stare down. It honestly never ceases to amaze me how the Black Ops get anything done with all this squabbling amongst themselves. I think we're going to need to take a group counseling session after this mission.. In order to break things up and get their mission moving again, Koji put on a smile and patted Pen on the back, then looked up at the building. "So... we goin' in there?" His plan didn't really seem to be breaking the tension at first and for a few seconds Koji stood there, his hand on Pen's back, waiting for one of them to give a response. Alright.. well.. this is getting awkward...

"You think?" Waffle said to Koji as she passed everyone else. She walked up to the door, looked around at the rest of the building, and tried to open the door.

Inside the wearhouse sat a few large crates and a large tank. The dark wearhouse seemed empty, as none of the guards where around.

Waffle looked inside of the empty warehouse, and back at the group. "After you." she said to them. She did not feel like waiting in front of a door all day while Luciano chewed Pen out. Again.
Sabe, on the other hand, seized the little free time he had to check on his leg, carefully reapplying some ointment and bandages. I really hope my leg heals okay. Standing around and walking on it isn't good at all, but what am I supposed to do, magically pop back home and get rest? I WISH I WAS AT HOME INSTEAD OF HERE!

Pen turned back slightly to Koji, her head staring at the ground. Her cast arm swung at her side while her other drenched in her own blood grabbed Koji's shoulder. Without a word she mused for a moment on how to respond. To be told she wasn't doing her job was something she couldn't begin to fathom.
"Haven't I always taken it seriously," she muttered. She raised her head to see Koji's face. With a serious and sadden look she force a small smile that disappeared quickly. She bowed her head and her arm became limp. She turned back to the warehouse and let go of Koji. She looked straight out into the dark room and marched in.

Luciano walked into the warehouse, his gun drawn, he looked around. He walked forward while turning on his radio and properly adjusting to a certain frequency, "Fan out," he said, "then re-group on the otherside, I want this place fully secure. Go." Luciano stepped a few paces ahead and managed to find a crate full of road flares. Luciano grabbed two- one for himself, and another for Michelle, "Everyone grab a flare. Two for each group."

Waffle followed the others into the warehouse, noting how empty it really was. She would be on her toes if it wasn't for the fact that she was suddenly and incredibly drowsy again. Sabe had to nudge Waffle's arm a few times to keep her awake. He was more alert than Waffle, and especially wary of the fact that the place was quiet and relatively empty.
They did as they were told and grabbed some flares to take with them. This mission would have been easy if it weren't for the fact that they were being hunted.

Aly walked in carefully her eyes scanning the top. She realized quickly that with all her scanning she could see anything up there. It was just too dark up there to see anything. Its like all the stars going out in the night sky.She thought as she grabbed a flare. She chuckled silently to herself. I guess when I'm under the banner of the prey, my thought turn poetic. She was about to ask what group they had been assigned to, but decide against it. She would probably end up with Koji, thank goodness. She just worried that with the uneven grouping. Maybe Pen will be added to a good threesome. I should have insisted on treating her wound. Just look at the blood!

Pen went down the middle of the warehouse her flare guiding her movements as she walked around the tank. It all seemed to be very unsettling for a large warehouse like this to be un-manned. Even more unnerving was the unknown substances in the large crates.
Her originally wounded arm hung limp as she walked with Aly and Koji. All the time she tried to peer ahead through the blinding darkness in front of her.

"HAAAHAHHAAHHHHAHA!" echoed throughout the wearhouse as the doors locked all around the gang. "and where there was darkness... there will be LIGHT! HAHAHAAAA!" called out the voice once more as blinding lights flooded to room.

"Ahh" Pen moaned ducking her head under her arm dropping the flare. Through the painful amount of light she tried to re-adjust with no real avail.
"Wait... Lana." She whispered to herself. Then out to the open room she called, "Lana is that you?"
