Abel rubbed at his temples. Lucky she couldnt see how nervous he was. "Vickily, I- wait, I really dont know how to say this, I was going to tell you but Bones came back. A-and, I didn't want to make you choose between two people, that is way below me. Vickilyn, I - I'm in love with you, ever since I've returned, it hit me like I really care about you, and these feelings are genuine. I don't want to lose you though. I know that you would understand but as I said it is below me to make you choose between Bones and myself."
he said looking down at her. That was less than graceful and gentlemanly that was word vomit if anything. His nerves really had gotten the better of him.

I stood up on the steps and got out of the pool, what he said hit me like a ton of bricks, "In love? With me?" I asked feeling a little out of place. "I-I'm sorry Abel" I said as I grabbed my clothes and ran back into the house

Shadow remained in the dinning room. Servants brought him glasses of blood and Shadow drank like he had not been feeding properly for days. He hoped Abel would have spilled his guts to Vickilyn by now and that everything would be well.

Shadow started to sing an anchient tune that he knew from his childhood. It was soothing to him to have something so familiar in his mind for once. Shadow smoked and drank and sang to kill the time he had on his hands. He had nothing else to do right now. The gaurds were walking the grounds and nothing was causing any trouble. The war wouldn't be comming for a while either and Cassidy was sleeping so he had to kill the time he had in some way. This was the only way he could think off.

((Sorry, I don't know what's up with these damn errors))
I ran past Shadow sopping wet, I needed to think a while so I didn't stop to talk to him, I headed straight for my room and threw my clothes on the floor. I tip-toed past Bones so I wouldn't wake him then I headed into my bathroom. I jumped into the tub without even thinking of removing my swimsuit, I just wanted to sit in there and think, amongst the warm water and bubbles

Shadow saw Vickilyn run past him. 'Looks liek things are going to get awkward around here.' he thought as he went back to singing, drinking and smoking.

((Guess not, maybe it has something to do with them updating))
I sat in the tub thinking, this was almost like Shadow's situation. 'I can't beleive Abel is falling for me...' I dunked my head under the water then came back up, 'scratch that, he's in love with me.' I sat there in the bubbles, almost sulking about running away from Abel, I had known him so long and this was a huge surprise, and with Bones right outside the door, sleeping in my bed.

Shadow continued to sing, the tune was more jolly, almost like something you would sing in a tavern after somehting good had happened. The situation with Vicki, Bones and Abel was stuck in his mind. Vickilyn has been put in the same situation he had been placed in but she did not have to make as tough a decision. She had no family to loose but she could loose those close to her and that was bad enough. Shadow was use to coping with loss, he had no idea how good Vickilyn was with it. So much pain was heading her way if she did not handle this carefuly. If Bones took this the wrong way, Shadow would have his hands full keeping them apart.

I got out after the water started to get cold, and headed straight for a towel. I dried myself off, then ran for my closet to out a pair of sneakers on with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Then I headed down to the main hall and out the front door so I could hang out at the stables and try to clear my mind.

Shadow stopped singing. He had run out of tunes. He wondered how Vicki was doing but didn't move to find her. She needed to be alone for a while to sort things out in her head. 'Things will never be the same in this mansion. Two love triangles in as many weeks.' he thought.

Abel put his head in his hands. He blew it. It was over. She clearly didnt want him. He stood and almost running headed through the dining room and up the stairs to his own room locking the door behind him. He barely even noticed the hole he put in his wall.

I got to the stables and decided to take Bettie out for a run, riding for a while would surely calm my mind, and she could be my eyes so I knew I'd be safe. I got her ready, and grabbed some supplies before heading out, I walked her around for a while, then made my way down the driveway and out the front gate to walk her down the street, to see if anything had changed lately

Shadow finished his drink and his cig. Shadow left the dinning room and walked deep into the forest to where the rift was once more. He sat by it once more, there was little else he could do right now. Vicki was off clearing her mind and everyone else was somewhere else. Shadow and Cassidy had thier own secret spot and this was Shadows. Only those that truly knew his scent would be able to track him. He took comfort in that.
