Ariel looked around inside the Pokedome, seeing stuff she had never seen before. Hearing Kai's voice, She looked at him, and replied, "Sure." She looked at her three pokemon in the pokeballs and Yoko that jumped off her head. She had a Growlithe, a houndour, a squirtle, and a magikarp. What will I choose, she thought.
Then she saw Tommy who came in and bowed repeatedly to him and said, "Thank you for letting me borrow your pokemon." She grabbed the pokeball which had Flygon in it and hand it out to him. Here's your pokemon back.

Tommy denied the pokeball. "Just keep him on your belt for now, I'll get him back once we're back on the island." He told Ariel. "And If we're doin' PokeAthlon... which course are we doing?" He asked Kai.

Kai took out three Pokeballs. "Speed and Jump course. Four events, three Pokemon, and just get them scanned by the lady at the coutner to register them." Kai registered his three Pokemon, ready for the event.

Okay, she said while putting Flygon away. She asked to Tommy and Kai, "for my water pokemon, would there be some sort of pool?"

Kai turned to Ariel. "How it works, as if you Pokem is jumping, it gets a special pool to jump out of, if it's running, it gets a special lane made of water. If it has legs and can run, even if it's a water type, it uses ground. Flying types can not fly higher than 2 feet off the ground if they choose to fly."

"Gotcha." Tommy went over to the lady to check in. He sifted through box data, and finally came up with the pokemon he wanted. "Grovyle, Ledian, and Shedinja." Tommy confirmed with the receptionist. Tommy went to the changing rooms to get changed.

I see, Ariel said. She looked at her other pokemon in the pokeballs. Then she returned the squirtle and place the three pokemon that she had chosen on the counter to register them. The pokemon she chose was MagiKarp, Houndour and Squirtle.

Kai Took his three Pokemon with him, ready to go outside. His Pokemon were, Sneasel, Zubat, and Plusle.

Each Aqua member took there spots, each on a platform. There were four contestants in this round, and a MC began to annouce all of them, she was a young woman dressed in a tracksuit holding a microphone.
"Our contestants today are, Kai! With Sneasel, Zubat, and Plusle! Tommy! With Grovyle, Ledian, and Shedinja! Ariel! With Magikarp, Houndour, and Squirtle! And! Robert! (Super Nerd) With Pikachu, Jumpluff, and Combusken! Get ready to Pokeathlon!"
Kai got ready for the first event, Hurdle Dash.

"Bugs and a general ninja... this should go smoothly." Tommy joked, ready for the dashing of hurdles and what not.

Some voice echoes in her head, and then she thought, that's right... I just need to guide my three chosen pokemon. She let out her Squirtle and houndour. The squirtle ran laps to warm up while the houdour yawned and stretched its body. Looked for a water lane to place her Magikarp and ask to Tommy, "Do you know where I could find a pool of water?"
