Third place fights are almost finished. Second place fights will be next, which is where I and a few others here will be in the next few weeks. First place semi finals are over, I believe, but no public judgement or winner has been announced to my knowledge, and first place finals are yet to be underway and probably wont be until third place is over and second place has begun.
People who either can't or won't participate again but want to join in here have spilled over and into the storyline already.
Chin up Kira. Ill favored work is still work--which is more than what a lot have, and my view on death is fairly neutral. All I can say is that, if there was pain or suffering, it's over now. You can grieve for a loss, just don't forget to celebrate their life. That is probably how they want to be remembered: not by their loss or what killed them, but how they lived and how they touched you and your family's life.
Things must get rough before they get better. It's good to focus on getting through things, and I and lots of others are here for you if an when you need us.

Well its doing better than Avast. Web is still running a bit slower than what it was, but not as bad as with Avast. If I get this job at the mall first thing I'm buying is my McAfee sub again.

If I get this job at the mall first thing I'm buying is my McAfee sub again. Well I'm not sure it is the Anti-Virus that is slowing it down? Generally those just help...protect you from stuff. I'd lean more towards either your internet browser (Firefox? Because that started slowing way down for me especially with Gaia...so I finally switched to Chrome and it is back up to par) or perhaps even your internet itself, how old your computer is, how long you've had it, what your computer parts are, when the last time you cleaned/defragged your hard drive, etc, etc...
Tons of things slow the computer down nowadays, and the more we leap forward tech wise and get better and better upgrades, the faster our once quick and agile computers go down the drain and become sluggish. =O
Hopefully it is just an easy fix with a new subscription to McAfee. Perhaps McAfee did all the organizing and cleaning up automatically with the subscription package...I'm not really sure, I just know it didn't seem to work for me when I had the trials... xp

With Avast the real time scanning took up too much memory slowing down everything. That's why it had slowed me down. The computer itself is about 2 years old, I defragged today even though I was only 1% fragmented. I use IE never cared much for firefox or chrome. Don't know why I've slowed down since I lost McAfee, but hopefully once I can resub it'll fix my problems. Till then I will just have to deal with it.

Yokai, about your last post as the brother and sister. Who was that directed towards? There is nothing in the post to even hint where your at, or who your attempting to post with. If your trying to start posting with Kira, Hate, and myself let me know soon. I just don't want to make a post and not include yours because I wasn't sure who it was directed at due to lack of information.

devil, what browser are you using, try resetting the browser, a good tool for that is ccleaner and it may help your overall performance.
If youd like, i was a geeksquad remote tech, i can walk you through a virus removal and tune up that should get you running much better than before...

I'm using Internet Explorer, and I've never heard of resetting the browser before. I'm searching for ccleaner as I type this so I'll probably edit in the results of using it a little later. I would very much appreciate the help in getting my computer running at faster than this. As long as it's not too much trouble for you.
