 Agrias Oaks The saddened holy knight leaned into a hug after hearing Aerith's kind words. Agrias broke down, crying into the young lady's shoulder. Great heaving sobs that she held within came gushing out. Emotional walls tumbled. For years in this world and her home, she's had to hold everything walled within her heart: her anger, her sorrow, her love, her hopes and dreams. All that there was ... was only duty and honor. For her entire life, Agrias had to bottle up everything up inside for the sake of duty to the crown -- for king and country. But now, that dam that Agrias had built up within her heart broke loose. For several minutes, the paladin murmured through her sobs everything that had been locked away within her. Of unrequited love, or things she hadn't the courage to speak to people she had cared for when she had had the chance. All of the burdened regret that weighted down on strong shoulders for so long. Aerith probably didn't understand all of her words, but feel the regrets that have plagued the paladin. After crying herself dry, Agrias took a moment to clear the catch in throat before she could respond in a clearer voice, "I guess hope is all that I have... And at least, I have you...." Amidst her tears, the blonde paladin half chuckled, "And I think I'm a bit too old to be adopted, I think."

Aerith set her arms around Agrias in a comforting hug, there was a part of her that felt bad for never really catching onto everything this women had bottled up for so many years. It wasn't just a short time, even Aerith couldn't believe how long she had remained silent about everything she had tried to lock away, such actions were never good on the mind, nor body.
Keeping that gentle hold on her, Aerith listened to everything she had to say, even though some may not of been completely clear to her, she got the most of it. In a way, she reminded her of Cloud, the two seemed to keep everything to them selves, rather then ever go to anyone. Agrias though, was the only one who seemed to finally let those feelings out.
Her tears seemed to subside, and she could sense that she were calming down as Aerith slowly let her go, and instead took her hands into a gentle hold as she looked at her. "You have a lot more then just me." She smiled, though as Agrias began to chuckle a slightly puzzled look crossed Aerith's own features until her last words were spoken, this brought the cetra into a soft giggle. "Oh...my..That again! Zack must have been right..Hee,hee.." Agrias would likely be confused as to what she meant. "Am I to motherly? " She asked in a amused, playful tone. "If that's the case, I suppose i'm doing a good job! I did get a little laugh from you, didn't I? "

Agrias Oaks "I guess it would be odd, if I called you 'Mother Dear,'" Agrias managed a joke among her ebbing tears, "I'm faring a bit better now.... I can't believe I ... never told him. We were busy with the war ... fighting Lucavi.... running away from the Inquisition."Taking a deep breath, the holy knight steadied herself. Through tear-streaked cheeks, the blonde smiled warmly at her friend. Agrias embraced the Cetra again.... and kissed both of her cheeks, "Maybe we should just adopt each other, Lady Aerith. And you.... you are the embodiment of hope. I just don't know what I am any more." Agrias shrugged blushing, then looked toward the big comfortable couch. "Maybe we should just sit down for a bit, and talk some more. I think the last time I actually spoke of any of this... was with Lavian. I swear... When everything was going on, it all so clear. And I survived, and I still don't know what to do." Even though, the blonde paladin seemed to be questioning herself, it does seem to be that she's calmed down quite a bit."

Aerith smiled again at the joke, that would definitely sound strange, but as a joke it was a funny thought. How would others react if she so suddenly called Aerith that? "If ever something does happen, and your friends do come to this land, Don't worry about anything, let him know what is in your heart and I promise you, it will be worth it.."
Returning the hug to her friend, she didn't expect the kisses to her cheek! Still, the cetra smiled softly, it wasn't strange at all and clearly was just a friendly thankful gesture. "We can adopt each other as...sisters? How does that sound?" She said with a small giggle. Her compliment made her blush faintly, strange as it was, she never really got to many compliments like this. "Thank you, Agrias.." She paused a moment. "You are a wonderful person..There's a lot more to you, you just have to believe in yourself more. " As it seemed right now, she had to much doubt on herself.
Listening to her as she too gave a quick glance to the sofa, due to Agrias's attention drifting to it, she nodded slightly and began to walk toward it. Talking seemed like a nice idea, it had been quite some time since she had actually sat down and spoken with any of her friends like this.But more so, Aerith just wanted to see her friend smile again.Seeing so much sadness and doubt in one person always made her feel bad for that person. "Right now, I think it's better to just worry of the present, and future of the planet and people here. There's so much to protect, and so many growing threats out there. I think that is our purpose now, and why we all came back or you came to this land.."

Agrias Oaks After sitting down on the very comfortable couch, the blonde paladin put her arm around Aerith smirking at her, "Sisters sounds really nice. The last 'sister' I had was Lavian, although that woman had... has a wild streak. She was never afraid to tell anyone what she thought or felt. Lavian always had my back, and I hers..." The blonde paragon of knighthood gave the Cetra a slightly firmer hug, and looked directly into Aerith's eyes and took her hand with her own free hand, "From now on, now and forever, I pledge to love you like the sister you are. And I will always stand beside you at any time you need me to. Your enemies are my enemies. Your friends are my friends. You're family to me now."

Zack Fair "Embrace your dreams, and, whatever happens, protect your SOLDIER honor."   The sound of boots against wood would sound, as the leader of Avalanche made his way down the stairs of the mansion. Stretching a bit, Zack brought a hand up to cover his mouth as he yawned out a greeting. "Hey y'all," The Ex-SOLDIER seemed to have recently awoken from a long sleep, presumably having been staying up a long while training. Taking a closer look, now, Zack noticed that he didn't know one of the people here. ...How odd that such a cute girl had gone unnoticed by him for so long. Had he lost his touch? "Hey Aerith, and hell-llo, to you!" Zack said rather merrily to Agrais, grinning as he walked around the couch to better introduce himself. It seemed any sort of emotional moment the two women were having was utterly ruined, now. "I don't think we've met..." Zack struck one of his signature heroic poses. "Name's Zack, maybe you've heard of me? Leader of Avalanche? Brave, noble warrior and chosen knight of the Ancients? Also, I'm devilishly good looking, as you've probably noticed. I can't believe I've never gotten acquainted with such a-" His (presumably failure of) flirtation was interrupted, however, as someone suddenly began to beat on the door rather harshly. Zack's attention shifted accordingly, and it was then that the door flew open, and three heavily armed men charged into the room, two brandishing guns and pointing them at the ones occupying the room. These were Cerberus, or as they were formally known, Kaijin, troops.
Zack instinctively placed himself in front of the girls, protectively, drawing out the Buster Sword quickly and striking his signature stance. He assumed that Agrais could likely defend herself, given her armor, but it was his instinct to protect those of the opposite sex, warrior or not. "Boy, you guys sure picked the wrong place to-"
"Wait!" Came the voice of the soldier who hadn't raised his weapon, showing him to be the one in command most likely. "Lower your weapons. Now! This SOLDIER's abilities surpass ours by an incomprehensible margin." The other two glanced at each other, but did as they were told, lowering their weapons. Zack kept his Buster Sword up, but relaxed slightly. The leader of the group stepped forward, bowing respectfully to Zack. "Former SOLDIER First Class and current leader of Avalanche, Zack Fair, our master requests an audience with you. It is a matter of life and death."
"That so? Your "master" sure has a funny way of democracy."
"Please! Time is of the essence! The very fate of the world is at stake, as well as the ones you love."
"..." Zack, glanced over his shoulder, back at his beloved, Aerith, before turning his eyes back to the man. "..." After a moment, he finally placed his massive sword back on his back. "...Alright. I'll meet with this guy. Where is he?"   (( OoC: I'm sorry if I'm interrupting, but this is the start to a new plot. ))

A tinge of pink began to fill her cheeks at the kind words of Agrias, there were times in the past, far before she had even met Zack that she would watch siblings together and find herself wondering just what it would have been like, had she herself had a brother or sister of her own. Well, she may finally get a small feeling of what it was like, even if they were not blood related, Agrias would always be seen as a sort of sisterly figure. When Agrias hugged her again, Aerith returned the hug. "Heehee,You sound so formal! " There was that happy, cheerful side returning. "This is a wonderful day! I feel though, that we should make seal this moment by a flower from the church.." This may sound strange,until she began to explain. "They are special..very dear to me. I beleive they have a pure energy within them that can in a way, link me to all I give them to..And in this way, I can protect them..while I have never been close with anyone who bought my flowers, for you it will be..stronger..And so will be link, so, if ever there is trouble I can find you and do all that I can do help no matter what. That will be our sisterly-bond! " Then again, maybe it wouldn't make sense, sometimes Aerith could say the strangest things and it was likely Agrias wouldn't know all that much about the Cetra's abilities.
Ah, but the moment the two shared would soon come to a end as the footfalls upon the stairs sounded, making Aerith turn to see her sleepy husband coming down, which brought a smile to her own face. He was just so cute when he was tired like that. Though, had she known he was staying up and training so often, losing sleep, she might not of found it as cute! As he began to take note of Agrais, Aerith shot a playful glare at him. "Oh, and you are also married to...oh! Me!! You horrible flirt! " Obviously she was in no way angry!
And then, the pounding of the doors began, like Zack, Aerith too glanced into the direction of the doorway, before it was suddenly kicked in, and three well armed men charged their way inside.Standing slowly from behind Zack, she could only listen to what they had to say to him.."Hmm? " The world was in danger? So, was this a new threat? "I haven't heard any warnings.." And she always knew, so why wasn't this one in the knowledge of the ancients to warn her, if it were in fact true. "Zack..Be cautious, they can be tricking you.." She said quietly to him..

Robert Giovanni "Salvation comes with a cost. Judge us not by our methods, but by what we seek to accomplish."   The one in charge of the group raised his arm, hitting a few buttons on his advanced-looking bracer, before suddenly a hologram of a man appeared before Zack from the man's bracer. "Zack Fair. Just the man I was hoping to see. My name is Robert Giovanni. An honor to finally meet you." The man said, taking a puff of his cigar.
"Funny, I assumed we'd be meeting face-to-face."
"Unnecessary waste of time. Time we don't have. I assume my associates have said something to you about this already. Well, whatever you imagine as the threat to the world, you couldn't possibly comprehend what it actually is."
"I'm not too worried. I can tell you now, we've faced bigger threats."
"And I can tell you you're wrong. It's true that Avalanche has faced the most dire threats to this world time and time again, and has repeatedly come out on top..." The man slowly sat down in his chair, in the area he was physically in. "...But this is unlike any threat Gaia has ever faced. In the core of the Lifestream of this planet, there exists a being with power the likes of which have never been seen. It could destroy all of the infamous WEAPONS with a single stroke, topple mountains with a word, and even defeat the goddess, Minerva, without breaking a sweat." This drew a reaction from Zack, as the man expected it would.
"You're over-exaggerating."
"I wish that I were. Cerberus' main goal is to rid the world of both good and evil, therefore our mission is to destroy Avalanche and ShinRa alike, however, at times like this we cannot afford to let our petty differences destroy the human race anymore than it has to be."
"...What do you mean, "anymore than it has to be"?"
"..." The man took another puff from his cigar, before rubbing the end into his seat's ashtray as he began to speak. "This being will awaken soon. Sooner than you would think. And when it does, it will fulfill its duty, and that is to erase all life--good and evil, man and beast alike--in order to reset the world. Resistance would be all but futile, due to its tremendous strength. But I have an alternative." The man stood from his seat as he continued talking. "I have discovered an ARK--one that can take people into the New World. The world after life as we know it ends. The being will destroy all life that is not aboard the ARK, and level buildings completely. But from that rubble, we can rebuild. The ARK has enough space to accommodate enough people to repopulate our world after the destruction. All other life will be removed--yes, this includes innocent lives--but it also will destroy all monsters in the world. Those who survive to see the new world will find a world brimming with life, and a peaceful one, where there is no need to even learn fighting, because there are no threats! No one would have to worry about being killed by monsters. ...However, there is only limited space on the ARK. My proposition is this: I will allow any of Avalanche who wishes to board the ARK, and any family members they may have are fully welcome aboard as well.
I don't expect an answer now, but call your people. Tell them the situation, and my offer, and talk it over with them. Contact me when you have your answer. Just remember, which is more important to you, the people of this world, or the people of your family? ...Goodbye, Zack." And with that, the hologram dissipated, and the three men hurried their way out of the building.
"..." Zack didn't say anything for... a long moment. A very long moment. This was all... a lot to take in. Finally,he slowly turned to Aerith. "........." He grunted, looking away. "...We have to call everyone. EVERY MEMBER of Avalanche needs to come here to hear this. Start calling and messaging all of them. I'll do the same." He concluded, before pulling out his phone and going to go step outside. He had a lot to consider, it seemed...  (( OoC: ))

It was strange, for Aerith to just sit there completely silent, heck, she didn't even seem to be blinking for the longest time.Every word was burned into her memory, and each time she heard it play back in her mind, the more she refused to believe such a disaster was again possible.Not a meteor, Jenova or Sephiroth this time. This man seemed to be sure of what was to come, while at the same time she didn't believe running away to some ARK would the right choice. Give up with out trying? That was not in this one's nature. After all, she had felt her main reason to have been born was to do her duty, to protect the planet and it's people.
It wasn't until the doors slammed at the leave of the men that she had come back to reality. "...This isn't right.." Aerith said in a soft whisper before turning to Agrias.."I..need to talk to him, i'm sorry.." As if she wasn't likely still processing all this news herself, Aerith hurried to follow Zack outside. "...What if this is a trap? Zack, you know who I am..You know our abilities..If something were coming that was this great of a threat...I would know before hand, Someone would tell me something..I don't know about this.." She sighed, there were other issues as well. The biggest ones to her were Zane and Ariel. She knew Ariel was here in the city, but Zane? How LONG had it been since she seen him?! "...It might be the plan..for everyone to be gathered here to destroy us all.." It really did sound like an idea, too.

Agrias Oaks (I could almost hear a Aerith's theme from when Aerith and Agrias were talking and getting close.... and then the record would screech to a halt replaced with 'I'm Too Sexy' when Zack's throwing his hair about. A new screech... then ensue tense music. lol) Zack's interruption slightly surprised the paladin. Agrias looked over Zack strutting around and did everything in all politeness NOT to start laughing at him for his antics. While the holy knight wondered about this full motives of this horrific flirt, the blonde knight was surprised to hear that this was Aerith's husband. Both eyebrows shot up, but before Agrias could say anything.... A group of armed men barged into the mansion. Quickly, the Invalice native stood and readied her sword and interposed her shield to face these intruders. The paladin listened carefully to the 'magical' message, keeping her face completely neutral not giving away anything as to what was running through her mind. After the presentation and the intruders left, Agrias voice her opinion on the matter, "If this is an enemy of both Avalanche and Shin'Ra, why is this man offering us a place on this ARK which this 'Cerebus' is in control? If he wishes the destruction of both groups, why even inform us at all? This 'scheme' sounds like it is simply an attempt to lure us into a single location ... and destroy us. Also, how can we verify any of this warning distributed to us out of the goodness of Mr. Giovanni's heart?

walking up to the door, Soko knocked on the door hard with his fist, he had his hood up and his armored coat closed and buckled up the front... " delivery from the back room, seventh heaven, for a avalanche members"
his tone was only half sarcastic and he was an guard he knew the strength of the, member of avalanche, and he also knew the strength of Yuffie he also knew that Zack fair was the leader now, and it meant that even with pyrrhus help it would be bad if they took us to be hostiles...

Squall Leonhart "I'll be here. If you come here, you'll find me.
I promise."   "Look, I don't know what this is about. I just know someone like Zack doesn't get worried about nothing." Squall aid to his three companions, of whom he had retrieved since he knew they didn't have cell phones.
"Could it truly be so bad? This world has faced many threats, but this group has been able to put an end to them and avert catastrophe." Cecil said in assurance.
"Indeed. I do not believe any sort of darkness could threaten this land with the overflowing light that acts as its guardian." Light chimed in.
"Yeah! You worry too much, Squally. Anyone shows up, and I'll just kick 'em in the teeth!" Tidus spoke up. Loudly.
Squall just sighed, facepalming himself. (I didn't say I was worried. But we aren't invincible, either. ...Why did I even bring them along?) Squall couldn't really find the answer for that one.
"Rydia!" Cecil called out as he saw the woman in his sights, and soon the group of four caught up with the two. "Long time no see, my friend. And you as well, Terra. How fares you both? Unharmed, I hope? Do you know what sort of threat Zack is speaking of?"
"It doesn't matter! Either way, they're going down once I get to 'em!"
"Perhaps approaching a threat with caution would be the for the better."
(As if Tidus knows what that word means...) Squall thought to himself, continuing on past Terra and Rydia alone to the mansion.
"Even if it is a trap, we need to deal with the enemies anyway. Besides, what if it IS true? ...I can't just ignore what he said. Too much is at risk. If this thing is as powerful as he says, maybe even the Cetra don't know about it. ...Or maybe they made it..." He muttered the last part to himself as he continued to type messages on his phone. "Look, we'll talk about this once everyone shows up, alright?"  (( OoC: ))
