"I am always troubled these days." Shadow said. He would have explained but in his mind the last thing Nadea needed was to be told his problems. this time was her time and it should be as care free as possible.
Neferata blushed slightly at Valaryia's comment. "Thank you." was all she could say to it. It wasn't until she had met Valaryia that she had been given complaments on anything other than her skill in necromancy.

She chuckled softly, "Have you been sleeping on your desk?" she asked curiously and snickered. "You have an ink stain on your forehead..." she pointed to the side right above his left brow.

Shadow sighed adn he licked his hand and tried to remove the ink stain. "Yes I have been sleeping at my desk again. I had a conversation with me now ex wife last night and must have dozed off directly after it." he said as eh recalled ther events of the night before.
"No never." Neferata said with a half smile. It felt kind of strange being complamented for her beauty.

"Owe yes it was great." he said sarcasticaly. He took another long draw from his cig. Some of the things his wife said confused him but he didn't want to think about it. He had enough on his mind already. "So where is this falcon thing comming for you and when?" he asked.

Shadow leaned into the back of his chair after flicking the ash from his cig. He had the feeling that this was going to be a very long and quiet day. He needed something to distract him from everything but those things were few and far between. He took a longer than usual draw from his cig and started to think about the war. Liliths scouting party would arrive here soon but Shadow didn't ahve an exact date. A day, a week, a month, they were all possibilities. The stress od these events was getting to him.

"Thanks Satsuki, I think I'm going to go find her!" he exclaimed returning her smile. He hopped out of the pool and grabbed his clothes. Before running off inside, a trail of water behind him.

RECENT EVENTS OVERVIEW
-There was a battle between the residents and Marquis (an anvient vampire) who was allied with Caddisy's father. The residents won with the help of the Blood Dragon clan.
-After Marquis died in the battle Valariya fell into a coma-like state since he had turned her. Neferata had to get Negash to remove a spirit from her body in order for her to awaken, he did and Emilie left with him to learn how to use his powers for herself.
-Satsuki saved Alice and a girl from town from a wolf attack, the little girl Sakura followed her from the orphange they both used to reside in.
-Vickilyn's mind was invaded by Lillith, it caused her to go blind. It was a small attack as revenge for killing her son Jaik.
-Cassidy is hearing voices in her head, and doesn't know where they are coming from.
-Bones came back with good news about the clans he wanted to recruit for the upcoming battle with Lillith, just as he came home Abel was going to profess his love for Vickilyn, we have yet another love triangle on our hands.
-Alice was falling for Kave, and as soon as she made her move, he felt Malice's presence in the woods. She was in a tree, bleeding from a bullet wound. She had been captured and experimented on in a lab by the government. Wolves tried to attack them but Alice healed Malice's wounds, and Kave fought off the wolves.
-Malice lost her memory from being experimented on, she didn't even recognise Kave, the one she was in love with, who had turned her.

As Abel ran off Satsuki felt a striking pain in her chest and she tilted her head confused. She hadnt had a pain in her heart for many many years and forgot what it ment. She shrugged it off before she stood up and put her shoes back on before she walked back into the mansion and headed for the dinning room.

Shadow sat lost in his own mind once more. His cig had burned out in his hand and he stared out of the window. The mansion was to quiet now. So few people walked the halls. Shadow missed all the people that had once roamed the place. To few voices echoed now. It made Shadow wonder if he had played a part in chasing everyone away. He wasn't the nicest person back then but now he was calming down. He wasn't snapping at the new arrivals as he did in the past, now they needed people here. Many people with many skills, that is what they needed to survive or so Shadow thought.

((Sorry if the posts are slow... Gaia's being weird))
I walked out of my room, feeling like I slept for days, I needed some blood so I made my way to the dining room forgetting to wrap the ribbon of fabric around my eyes. I got to the doorway without incident, and walked a little wobbly to my chair, I was pretty weak from not feeding for a while. I told a servant to bring me tree glasses of blood and an ash tray, I waved and said 'hi' to the few around the table

Shadow looked up to Vickilyn. "How are you feeling?" he asked. Shadow hadn't seen Vickilyn in a few nights. He wondered if Abel had managed to talk with her yet or even if her eyes where getting better. Shadow looked to his burnt out cig and cursed under his breath. He was letting them burn down alot these days. He lit another cig and hoped that he would finish this one.

I turned in his general direction knowing I couldn't see him, but I still wanted to face him, "I'm alright, just completely worn out from not getting much sleep" I sighed, "I've been trying to figure a way to get rid of this" I said pointing at my eyes.

"Last I heard Abel had found something like four ways of doing it. Two of those ways would not work. The other two I can't really remember but one of them was that it may just pass with time." he said with a pause as he took a draw of his cig. "Why haven't you been sleeping...?" he asked. Shadow had a few theories but he wasn't going to openly say them.
