Tatsu sighed as he began to calm down a little. It's nothing, Pippa, don't worry about it. Just more memories that are better off forgotten... So what're we gonna do today? Cause if we're gonna stay here on this couch, I needed to get some rest anyway. But if we were going to go do something, I'm all for that, too. You learn how to forget sleep when walking is more important, and I've done that alot.

Pippa slightly nodded and felt his tenseness which caused her ears to twitch some. Standing up she lighlty dusted her dress off as if it had something on it then rubbed her eyes. "I think we should go to the courtyard to see who all we can meet...."Slowly blinking Pippa knew she had to move or she would fall asleep, she slept more then she was awake but it was all part of being a Neko and she welcomed the sleep, she knew how it was to go without sleep as well. The longest she went without sleep before her body shut down was one year and three months. After that her body loves the rest and she likes it to but she didn't want to sleep at the time.

Tatsu jumped up and stretched a bit, seemingly completely revitalized by the miniscule ammount of sleep he'd just received. Well then, off to the courtyard! He stretched out his hand to Pippa and asked, Shall we?

Pippa let her fingers wrap around his as she nodded. Lightly squeezing she moved towards the front doors. A smile crossed her beautiful mauve lips as she licked them and tucked some hair behind her ear with a free hand. The peaking tail slightly slid from under her dress some as if it were trying to get the whole scoop of what was going on but saw nothing. She opened the door and moved out into the courtyard.

Pippa smiled as she pulled him close to her as they walked into the Co-ed dorms main room. She gave him a slight smile as she made her way upstairs and to her, no their room. Giving the door a slight twist and a push she walked and looked at the hammock and seen that Taqune still must have been out, it had been a while since they had talked. Being to tired to care she walked over to her trunk and pulled out some night cloths and she quickly stripped down and changed into some silky pajama pants and a tank top. At that moment she could of caredless who was standing there she was that tired and ready to get in bed. After she had changed she gave him a hug and a kiss on the forehead and crawled into the bed and over close to the wall so that she could feel safe between two things, The Wall and Tatsu. "You can make yourself comfortable and come to bed I wont bite I promise..." She gave a slight smile and snuggled up under the covers and almost as soon as her head hit the pillow she was out like a light. When she covered up she left the other side of the bed still down so that he could climb in with no hastle as well. In her sleep she whispered "Night Tatsu, I love you..." Sounding so innocent she looked it more then ever as she laid on her side and her face sweet and not frightened or crying or any of that it was showing a touch of pleasantness. Her small hands lightly held the covers that were over her as if they could have blown away if she let go. A soft smile crossed her mauve lips as she lay dreamless yet her head was filled with thoughts of Tatsu.

Tatsu remained quiet as he and Pippa made their way to her room. Upon reaching her room, Pippa stripped down to change. Tatsu looked away slightly, but was unable to help but catch a glimpse of his angel in her purest form. He turned back to her as she crawled into bed, making room for him. He pulled his shirt and shoes off. He slipped down his pants so that he was only wearing his undershorts, as when sleeping in a bed, he could not stand clothing. In fact, at his old home, he slept in the nude, but he wasn't about to do that with Pippa... Not yet anyways. He lay next to her in bed, whispering back I love you into her sleeping self. He shut his eyes, and went to sleep as well...
Tatsu's mind flared as his eyes shot open, sitting up in the bed so quickly he was surprised Pippa did not awaken. He was breathing heavily and was covered in sweat, despite his lack of clothing. What was that?... Tatsu shifted and sat on the edge of the bed, hunched over as he tried to think about what happened. That's when he was paid a visit.
Out of nowhere, Vain appeared next to Tatsu, a beer can in his hand and a fake smile on his face. "So, Tatsu, you now know what's happened to Pippa, eh?" Tatsu jumped a little as Vain appeared, and was about to lose it when he thought otherwise. Not with Pippa so close... "Ah, so you really care for her safety now, eh?" Tatsu turned to Vain with a surprised look on his face.
Vain chuckled as he pulled back his hair, revealing a small device attached to his ear. "You're mute, so I invented a mind reader. I call it MR, short for the obvious reasons." Tatsu scowled and thought, What the hell do you want?
"Just here to see how your newly founded relationship with Pippa is working out."
Somehow I don't think that's the case.
"Didn't ask you to beleive me, Tatsu. That aside, I wanted to know more about your powers..."
You could read my mind down to the bone and you wouldn't find anything about it other than it activates when I'm upset.
"Can you at least tell me what it's called and where it originated from?"
Why would I tell you that?
"I'm just curious... also, I may be able to build something for you... Something that could control it."
... It's called the Twilight. Tatsu shut his eyes. And it comes from the Legacy of the Dragon's Kin, the bloodline I received from my mother.
"There, see? That wasn't so hard, no was it?" Vain stood up, drinking the rest of his beer. "I'll see you around Tatsu. Oh, and before I go: You're debt to that girl will never be paid. For breaking that promise, you will be her's forever."
Tatsu grinned. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Vain smiled back as he vanished into the Realm of X. "You humans... So foolish as to give away your very freedom to choose how you live your life..."
Tatsu sighed as he lay back down, curling up next to Pippa and wrapping his arms around her. I'll protect you...

Pippa had been so warn out that she didn't hear anything that Vain and Tatsu had said in their conversation. As he wrapped his arms around her she snuggled up more to him, his warm body felt good against her so she let out a soft purr as she slept. Amazingly after not hearing their whole conversation for some reason she had heard him say that he would protect her, so she mumbled something about. "you already are.." A slight smile crossed her lips as she laid her head upon his chest and one of her hand made it about on his stomach right infront of her face as she still purred and slept dreamless against him.

Tatsu kissed the top of Pippa's head lightly as he rested his hand on her stomach. He would've said more, had he received more sleep at Ria. He was asleep in no time, Pippa's warm body next to him giving him an unprecidented comfort. He had no disturbing dreams that night: Only thoughts of Pippa...
Tatsu woke up the next morning, but didn't wanna open his eyes. Thoughts like, Dad's gonna be in here any second to beat me and Grandpa's gonna come in later and start working me ran through his mind. He'd completely forgotten he was in Ria, thinking it was all a fantastic dream.

Pippa slept silently during the night and didn't move much, but as morning came she got a little wrestless and decided she wanted to stretch out. Turning so that her back was against Tatsu she let her legs extend to their fullest, her tail softly patted against Tatsu's legs ever so softly as she slept. A soft mew escaped her lips as she laid there now she had slowly began to wake up but she didn't want to get out of bed so she just laid there and hoped that she hadn't bothered Tatsu.

Tatsu sat up, yawning softly as he looked around. Huh?... Oh yeah, that's right... I'm in Ria with Pippa... Tatsu looked over at Pippa and smiled. She's even cuter when she's sleeping... Tatsu got out of bed quietly and sighed, looking down at his clothing and greeves. This is why I hate going to bed... So much clothing to put back on the next morning... Tatsu didn't even start putting his clothes back on, as he didn't want to induldge in such an ardorus task so early in the morning. He sat down on the bed and looked back at Pippa.
He smiled as he lay back down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. His eyes, however, kept drifting back to Pippa, focusing on her mauve lips until he couldn't help it anymore. He moved closer to her and kissed her softly on the lips, hoping it wouldn't wake up up.

Pippa felt Tatsu's movements and decided he must be awake already. What surprised her even more was when he kissed her, but she kissed back and gave a slight smile before she opened her eyes and looked up to him. "I like to go to bed...that means you get to snuggle more..." She let out a soft giggle as she watched him and then sat up and moved over to sit next to him. "I like it when you are here...I feel so safe...and I don't even dream of bad things...alway protecting me...even in my dreams.." Smiling some she softly kissed his bare shoulder and hugged him some. "Thank you Tatsu...for being her with me.."

No, Pippa, thank you for letting me be here... A normal person would wish for my death after letting them go through what you have. And as far as I'm concerned, I owe it to you to protect you. I must redeem myself somehow... Not that I wouldn't be here with you anyways. Tatsu leaned back, pulling Pippa on top of him and pulling her close to kiss her again. He smiled as he thought playfully, And your not getting off the hook that easily. You know what I went through because I couldn't save you? I'm gonna get you for that! Tatsu began to playfully gnaw on Pippa's neck as he thought, I'm gonna get something out of you!

"But Tatsu I'm not a normal person and you owe me nothing....I'm with you know and that's what counts right? I like being here with you, even if you didn't know who I was..you still would have protected me..." As he pulled her ontop of him she giggled and blushed some as she kissed him back. With the flash of a smile after the kiss she layed her head on his chest and softly purred. When he started gnawing on her neck she purred a bit more and grabbed his sides like it had done something major to her, which it did but she didn't want to say anything.

Something suddenly came to Tatsu that made him reassess his current situation. He was half-naked in Pippa's dorm room with Pippa on top of him in her bed clothes and he was gnawing on her neck. His face turned bright red as he thought, ...Uhh, Pippa? I just remembered I don't have any pants on...

What Tatsu just said made her blush even more, she quickly slipped off of him and made her way to the bathroom and shut the door behind her. He had just majorly turned her on and she was extreemly embarrassed by it. Looking at the ground as she sat against the far wall of the bathroom across from the door she sighed softly and tried to sort everything out. Her face was a brighter red then blood after he had said that and she hoped that he didn't see how embarrassed that she was by all of this. Embarrassed wasn't even the right word, at that very moment she could have cried because he had just easily turned her on then got her extreemly embarrassed.
