Soul winced a moment when he heard Margy trip up and fall down the stairs. Turning and standing up, he shook his head incredulously at Margy. When she went into her own little tirade, he couldn't help but shake his head. "I appreciate the sentiment, but with her power, I doubt I bite would do it. Besides..." He sighed and looked to the sky, wholly happy that the city was deserted - even if it did mean that Eggman had taken a few lives, one just got taken from them, too. It was very much like death - she didn't exist here anymore. "Would you really refuse the offer of returning home? Already we've been attack by robots, almost got crushed from a falling continent, stolen to survive, and Eggman's already attacked the city. And to top it all off, our friend is gone! Gone Margy.... She's gone because... she wanted to go. Go home, return to everyone and everything she loved." He said, returning to his sad little stupor. "Wouldn't you want to go back too?"

"that's..." Margy started off, before sitting up and staring down at her feet for a moment, apperantly searching for what she was going to say. True, she would like to go back home to where her family was...to her dogs, cats and all the rest of her pets. To that house she had lived in since she was two--though it was more like the house she grew up in..seeing how she didn't remember the house she was born in. Margy would like to...she would...but...but... Margy thought to herself, before slamming her fists against the ground for a second. "No!" she yelled out suddenly. "That's not the point!" she stared at her friend. "Sure Margy would just to go home, sure she misses her pets--but she wouldn't!" she hissed. "She wouldn't abandoned her friend, she isn't evil or mean like that!" she growled. "And..and Margy knows Stephanie-chan wouldn't have wanted to leave either..." she mumbled softly. "She was always trying her best to help--She wouldn't!" Margy's usually calm demeanor was slowly beginning to crack.

((Calm?))
Soul sighed and shook his head. "I know, Margy. I know she wouldn't of made this decision on her own. But it's not like she had much tying her down here. I'll be honest... I've been trapped here for months, so I don't know how good of friends you guys became on the guild, but to be honest, when presented with a wonderful prize instead of going through months of loneliness, pain... to be thrust into a world you no nothing about, I wouldn't blame anybody for choosing to go back." He explained. He was trying not to blame Stephanie at all, but this couldn't of been just Tikal's fault. Surely she had some say. "In... In any case." He muttered. "What's.... What's done is done. What we have to do now is assess our situation now and figure out what we're going to do, okay?" He asked, although it sounded more like he needed to know the answer then something he was asking.

(lol calmer? xD)
Margy gave a bit of a pout as she sat on the floor for a bit longer, staring at her feet silently. Letting out a bit of a sigh, the exhausted hamster flopped over a second later and stared up at the sky once again--before sticking her tongue out. "Curse you sky...margy knows you're taunting her!!" she growled out, pulling down her eyelid a second later. Laying there for a bit longer, the usually hyperactive hamster closed her eyes and refused to move for a bit, before opening them a second later and glancing over towards Soul. "I want a cookie..." she mumbled out softly. "And okay.."

"I'm sure we grabbed some cookies. Some milk too. Come on, I'll go pour the milk and get some plates out." He muttered, beckoning Margy to follow. He sighed and opened the door to the apartment, heading down to his apartment. Moving the last of the groceries to their rightful place, he got out a two of his four plates and checked the cupboards until he found the cookies. "The world's best comfort food. Chocolate cookies." He muttered. Grabbing the cups, he now reached into his - quite full - fridge and got the milk.

At the mention of cookies, Margy immediately leapt to her feet and followed after her hedgehog friend without a second thought. She heard the statement of milk, but made no comment about it--not wanting to ruin the calm moment that they had finally regained. "Cookies!" Margy exclaimed happily--and simply as she saw the chocolate cookies that were placed on the fridge. "Hooray for cookies--one of the best snacks in the world." she grinned happily and began to nibble away at the sweet treat--having yet to notice the milk that Soul retrieved.

Soul blinked, before ultimately just rolling with the hamsters attitude. No matter about the emotional breakdown when there was cookies to be had. Sighing and shaking his head, he took a large gulp of milk before even thinking about touching a cookie. Really, he was a man who was all about liquids more then solids when it came to edible things. Soda, Milk, Juice... all of it was preferable to most foods. Chocolate Milk was amazing, though. Sadly, he didn't remember seeing any in the cart. He did see soda though, and that made him happy.

Finishing off her first chocolate cookie, the hyperactive hamster quickly licked the chocolate from her fingers, before staring at her cup of milk before making a bit of a face. She really didn't like the taste of plain milk, but she was thirsty at the same time. Staring at it for a bit longer, Margy stuck out her tongue before grabbing onto the cup and drinking some of it. "Bleh, plain milk always tastes strange to margy." She said as she stuck out her tongue for a bit longer. Looking over towards the refrigerator for moment, Margy leapt up from her chair and peered inside. "Margy knows she grabbed some." she said to herself as she began to peer through the items in the fridge. "Ah-ha!! It hath been found!" Margy cheered out happily, and pulled out a bottle of chocolate syrup. "yay!!" she cheered and ran over with the bottle, before beginning to squirt the syrup into her milk and giving it a bit of a stir. "Much better---Soul-kun want some?" she asked, holding up the bottle out to him.

"Not what I meant. Nah, I can't take too much chocolate." He explained, reachng for a cookie and dunking it in his plain milk. "Funny thing is, I don't really care for it outside of adding peanut butter or..." He put the now soggy cookie in his mouth, and took some time to enjoy the snack. Closing his eyes, he let some reality seep back into his head. "Or in milk with a cookie." He finally finished, feeling better. No matter what happened... somethings were always the same.

"Margy loves chocolate." Margy said with a grin as she dipped her cookie into her cup, before taking a bit out of it--enjoying the delicious taste of the chocolate cookie. If there was one thing she could never get enough of--it was chocolate, the only problem with that, was it was the one food that made her the most hyper. A simple splurge could very easily turn into a hyperactive nut--not that she wasn't one already. Dipping the cookie again, she took another chomp out of the cookie and grinned happily, seeming to enjoy herself, she seemed to simple minded when it came to finding enjoyment. "Margy doesn't really like peanut butter...it tastes weird." the hyperactive hamster said a second later. "Maybe its because its really not all that sweet--margy doesn't know." she shrugged.

"I like it because it's smooth. It's got a real subtle flavor." He explained, before tapping his chin thoughtfully. "Suppose that's what makes people different." He said absentmindedly, before shaking his head. He thought about Stephanie. What made her different that she was pulled from the world? At least she was home - hell, maybe she'd be able to tell his family that he was still alive... at least, give them some hope. Feeling a horrible feeling of homesickness wash over him was unwelcome, but he was used to it. He's eyes dulled slightly as he took a sip of his milk, before sighing and turning to Margy. "Well, we have a bunch of stuff and food. I've got about a month and a half before I run outta money, and I can probably sell the parts on that old piece of crap for another month's rent, so it's safe for about two and a half months to camp out here." He explained, getting his mind off the subject. Without Stephanie here, he'd have to get rid of the dream of having sane conversations with on a sane level. However, sane conversations on insane levels was enough to appease him. "Okay, so... What now."

Blinking as she glanced over towards Soul with a cookie sticking out of her mouth at the time, Margy tilted her head to the side and seemed to think about his question...now what? What were they going to do now, sure they had food and an apartment to stay in, but doing nothing was just plain boring and part of her doubted that she would be able to find a job--especially after eggman's attack. "mwee mre mot mre mwore mwa mwson." Margy mumbled out, trying to speak through the cookie that she held in her mouth for a moment, but seeming to fail at it, especially since the cookie was causing her words to slur and jumble with each other, creating sounds that could clearly not be defined or registered as words. Staring down at the cookie that she held in her mouth, Margy lifted it up a bit before suddenly chomping down on it, causing half of the cookie to land on the plate in front of her, while the other half was quickly devoured. "What now, what now?" Margy questioned to herself, continuing to think about it. "Margy and Soul-kun were brought here for a reason...maybe we're super duper adventures off the save the world!! Duna duna!!!" she thrusted her fists into the air as she squealed hyperly. "...it's possible." she stated a second later, giving a wide grin afterward.

"Super Duper Adventurers." He echoed, his eyes wide with disbelief. He was about to give a rebuttal, but then again, both Stephanie and Margy had special items in which they could do extraordinary things. They had already been able to bash a few bots, at the cost of his spine and a major headache. Oddly enough, his own 'ball mode' could be a power for himself. Laughing at himself, he shook his head. "Eh, with the Mystic Ruins falling and everything... eh, sure, why not go back and have some adventures? We might as well pack tonight or tomorrow and head out when the trains start running out to the Mystic Ruins again. But..." He muttered, thinking. No, he wouldn't bring up their missing third partner right now. all it would do is cause pain. "I don't expect anything extraordinary, but hey... could be fun to explore, at least. This world does have magical secrets and all that. Stuff ours doesn't." He stated, flatly.

"Hai hai! Super duper adventures!" Margy squealed out hyperly as she began to flail her arms about, the chocolate from the cookies already seeming to kick in. "With heros and villians and saving the world!!" the hyperactive hamster squealed out happily, completely set on going on an adventure, despite the fact that her logic was beginning to blur with fantasy. "Any place can be an adventure--especially with our imagination-ation." Margy said, pressing both fingers against either side of her head. Grinning widely, the hyperactive hamster quickly scarfed down her last cookie before gulping down the chocolate milk and beginning to run about the table. "Adventure! Adventure!" she called out happily. "Let's go Soul-kun! let's goooo." she exclaimed. "Maybe-maybe margy and soul-kun can find answer answers too." Margy's words quickly spewed out of her mouth, only slowing down long enough for her to take a breath so she could continue.

"We'll go adventuring when we can, Margy, just settle down some. You don't want to tire out before we even leave." He said. He thought for a moment before adding, "And by that I mean tiring me out." Soul explained, before leaning back. He often didn't enjoy the word 'super' anymore. Considering he was stuck in the world as just another hedgehog instead of his created character was a low blow in his book. Soul just wished he had chosen a less common name for his character, even if he did have a complicated storyline just to prove why he had such a name. He sighed and merely ignored his imagination for now, choosing to drink from his white milk. It wasn't soda, but it's cool, smooth texture is what he needed right now.
