"Hi" Tom said while entering the kitchen. He then carefully walked in while he watched for traps & sat down at the table. "I'm afraid to step anywhere, Weasel said there were forty-something traps here." He looked around closely seeing about 7 or 8 of them.

Johanna only elbowed Dominic off of her, uttering a maxim her mother had taught her years ago. "Keep your hands to yourself or rather cops you'd wish you dealt." She said nothing to Tom, who had failed to introduce himself at all.
Meanwhile, Quinn had worked his way to the laundry room again where he had found various cleaning supplies that he would later put to good use. The bottle of window cleaner would be particularly useful; one spray could seriously damage the corneas, and when it came to Quinn and Kayako, corneas weren't the only things they wanted to damage. At least, Quinn convinced himself of this, looking for reasons to justify what he was about to do.
He called his segway to him and began programming it with new subroutines...

"Oh by the way, my name is Tom." He looked around again then said. "This ship is pretty cool. Much more roomier than my old ship." He got up walked carefully to the fridge went to open then decided to wait. "Is anything going to attack me if I open this?" He said with a cautious look on his face.

It was at that time that Mouledous appeared out of the corner.
"HEY, GET AWAY FROM ZAT!!" She then hit him with a rolling pin that had magically appeared in her hand and kicked him in the butt. "I MAKE YOU MEAL, I MAKE YOU MEAL!!"

This little rhyme was not amusing. Nor was it the first time he had heard it, or at least another variation of it. "You're such a tease Miss Murder." He was going to say something else, but was interrupted by a loud hitting noise. When he turned to see that it was Tom getting his a** handed to him by a wooden stick, he laughed. "I told you...."

Ryouki, after being assaulted by loud obnoxious noises, clamped his hands over his ears and screamed like he'd gotten his arm ripped off. Silly boy he was, always overreacting to the situation.

A door. A heavy, steel, boring-looking ship door that someone had written "Gray's Mole Hole" on the front of with a sparkely blue permanent marker.
Outside of this door much banging was heard as the commander, also known as Kayako, kicked at it with everything she had.
"OPEN IT NOW!!!! I don't care what you're doing, put your pants on and get out here, that's an order!!!! Don't you make me come in there!! I have a knife!!"

Rain leaned back and as did her head, with eyes rolling inside it. Sitting up straight again, she slapped Ryouki's face in hopes to bring him back down to earth. "Quit that, would you?" she said sternly. "You know, you can be such a pain sometimes.
Rain turned her head away and waited for the "idiot boy" to get his senses back. Really, he was being a pain and Rain did not appreciate that.

Ryouki looked from side to side in a suspicious fashion, until he spotted Rain and her glare-of-discontent. It was annoying how he acted, even he knew that. As a child it was suspected that both he and Kayako had some sort of mental disorder, but nothing was ever proven and he wanted to keep it that way. So, trying to be normal, the boy lowered his hands. Then he sighed and shrugged as a sign of exasperation.
"I...uh....want to be an actor...?"
A lame excuse for every situation. This is the way of the Ryouki.

After reprogramming the segway for about an hour, Quinn realized that he didn't know how to reprogram machines. Nonetheless, that did not stop him from trying and failing horribly. When it came to machines, Quinn, all alone in the laundry room with various cleaning supplies, was the kind of man who simply refused to win, as many of the crew had probably noted. He kicked the segway in anger and the transporation device ran yelping down the hall.
And so began the saga of Quinn's segway.
My master hurt me! pondered the segway to itself. Where do I go now? Who will take me in? I am but a poor, lost segway that has had most of its programming destroyed by master and--zzrrrt--zrrrrrtttt... brrrr...
Luckily for the poor, abandoned segway, it found a nice girl segway along one of the halls. They hit it off wonderfully, immediately going out on a date around the ship, ending with a beautiful night in the closet together.

Rain rolled her eyes. "Don't give me stupid excuses," she said. "I don't like that. Why can't you just tell me what it really is? Honestly!"
Rain got off of the floor and dragged Ryouki up with her. "We need to talk," she said sternly, never a good sign for the male gender of the human species, but it must be done. If anything was to work out with the two, they needed to talk about things, and Rain figured now was the best time.
Rain took Ryouki to the area where she first heard her "conscience" and hoped that it would be able to help her as she talked with that "idiot boy" of hers.
((Wow... I like that saga of the segway, there. razz ))

Ryouki was confused. Even he, with his ever small amount of real-world experience, knew what those words meant. But what had he done? He hardly did anything substantial at all, let alone anything the could potentially upset a crazy red-haired girl like Rain....
Or did he? Maybe it was the fact that he didn't do things? Maybe she wanted him to do something?
But they were teenagers! His brain didn't need to go down that root! And if it did, he would most likely loose his mind anyways as it fell out of a window after he ended up getting murdered for something he didn't even realize he had been doing. Was she trying to get him killed?
Or perhalps.....
"Eep......."

And please don't tell me Ryouki's thinking what I think he's thinking... o__o`` What a dirty minded boy...))
Reaching the place, Rain turned around and in smooth movement was sitting crosslegged on the floor. As the made the smooth movement down, Ryouki was dragged down with her. Her eyes were closed and that displeased look was still on her face. Taking in a deep breath, she let it out.
"... I think we need to know each other better," she said. "Like... each other's past and stuff. How do you think we're supposed to... ya know..." Rain gesticulated as she tried to think of the right way to say it, yet she couldnt. "Ya know... be... ya know..." Her hands were then sliding into each other, the fingers lacing. "... If we don't know anything about each other."
And Ryouki thought this was only awkward for him. Ha!!

Now this, this was a predicament. One side of Ryou's brain was happy that the subject of discussion was, indeed, a discussion and not something else crazy and weird. And yet, the other side was torn between wanting to hit the first side for being an idiot and being transfixed on Rain's hand motions, which were intriguing in some odd way.
Ryouki hated his brain sometimes.
"Oh. Right, yeah....um, like what would you want to know....?"

"Like, well... umm..." Rain's eyes started darting around and her hands were still flipping and flopping around. "Everything... I guess.." The last part of that sentence was a bit more high pitched that the other parts were. Rain was seriously feeling the awkward, here.
And who could blame her? She'd never been in a situation like this and she wasn't entirely sure of what to do. It was really nerve wracking for her and she kept fidgeting around. Her eyes couldn't stay on spot for a long period of time and her hands and arms couldn't keep still.
