YoukaiLuvr Wasn't it the death of Kestra (or was it Kendra?)? Anyway, it was the death of Deanna's older sister. Can't remember the name of the epis for the life of me, though. Correct! Once you remember the plot, it passes the name to you. Luwaxana even erased her diary entries for the entire period. The episode was called "Dark Page."

NEW QUESTION!
In TOS, Kirk once tried to explain, to a 20th century US policeman, why Spock looked different from the average person.
Give the full explanation. You can use your own words, but you must cover all the same points Kirk did.

You can use your own words, but you must cover all the same points Kirk did. Ok, how about covering at least ONE of the claims Kirk made at that moment?

Rainbow-potato I think I kinda remember that...Something about Spock being Chinese, something about a grain, and a plastic surgeon. Spock: "You were saying you'll have no trouble explaining it..." Kirk: "My friend is obviously... Chinese. I see you've noticed the ears. They're actually easy to explain...." Spock: "Perhaps the unfortunate accident I had as a child...." Kirk: "The unfortunate accident he had as a child....He caught his head in a mechanical...rice-picker. But fortunately there was an American...missionary living close by who was actually a ...skilled plastic surgeon in civilian life...." ============== Memorable scene. Small wonder the episode was written by the famous science fiction writer, Harlan Ellison, and not just one of the usual ensemble of Trek staffers. (Not that there was anything WRONG with them...) If you ever get a chance to see "City on the Edge of Forever" again, this is the episode it appears in. In the meantime, the scene, I think, appears here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDTZEBpVf4E

I'd say that no one knows the answer, or that no one is checking the thread, considering the amount of time since the question.
Maybe posting another question if not the answer to that one is in order... smile

xXSango_Chan13Xx New Question!!!!! In what episode did Spot technically save the entire ship, and how did she do it? Ok, since no one else answered it... The episode was the one that featured Barclay's Protomorphosis Syndrome. Everyone on the ship was morphing into one primitive life-form or another. Except Data, who is not biological. Even Spot changed-but her kittens did not, which gave Data the clue he needed. He found an expectant mother on the ship, and synthesized a cure by examining her amniotic fluid's makeup and proceeding from there. That was one of the episodes where Spot was female. Spot was male in earlier seasons, and the technically-minded Data called Spot "him" during those seasons.
