Once Masanori worked past his mental block and was able to successfully free himself for the second time, Shin would tightly tie his hands for one more dry run at this unaided rope escape before moving on to the real thing. He put some real muscle behind his twists and turns in order to make the last example the hardest to teach a valuable lesson...the importance of the jutsu he was about to teach his charge. A lesson that when fresh in the mind motivated students to work harder towards learning the actual jutsu.

It seemed Shin was trying a bit too hard, seeing as all the pressure just caused to knot to collapse on itself, freeing his peer before he even got down to work. Picking up the fallen rope, Shin tried once more with a new approach. Time to try a little finesse with this exercise, muscles can't solve every problem that may arise.

Using a light and delicate touch, Shin went about trying to tie the rope around Masanori's hands without damaging the integrity of the rope any further. His last attempt had been fairly bad, not only failing to train his charge in anything but making any further attempts to hammer in his intended lesson harder. For now the rope was a bit frayed and easier to pull apart. But having no further supplies, Shin was forced to simply make due with what he had and make the best tie that he could.

((So now I am going to roll for the secound rope tieing? No matter how many posts I have to make? Which is five right?))

He took Shin's advice and didn't give up. When the secound knot came around he wiggled his wrists back and forth in a fierce motion, trying to see if there were some "extra" loose end in the knot that perhaps Shin had missed. But this time, there was any or Masanori failed to notice. He could feel that his wrists were now in a terrible state and if they hadn't started bleeding already they were to in the next attempt. "God.. I am weak"

It was now becomming extremly difficult to move his wrists in a way to increase the space in the knot or to find misstakes. He took a break from this technique to stop for a moment to think on what other things he could try to open a knot. "Well it dosen't have a lid.." he joked, mostly to himself but also in an loud enough volume that Shin could hear and cut in on the chuckle. His eyes squinted some when he tried to press his fingers through the tightly tied rings. Some fingernails were shown but nothing that could do any damage to the knot.

[ Did you read my last couple of posts?

Especially the one where I quoted you twice?

Read them again and it will be clear that you already passed twice and only have to beat a DC of 11.

Since I rerolled the second DC and the third attempt from your first post beat it. Thus the reason I rolled not once but twice. (I'm not counting the roll of 1 but rather the rolls of 9 and 7.) ]

((Well I really didn't understand any of it to be true. So lets see here. I've passed two out of three times which leaves one more knot for me to succesfully unknot? And that knot has the DC of 11. And all I have to do now is to roll away until I get a higher number than 11. PLEASE correct me if I am wrong xd ))

And what do you mean you didn't take any of that to be true? What did you take it to be?))

His wiggiling had to come to a longer hold then a few secounds. Since the burning pain around his poor, thin, tiny wrists were so intense that his mind couldn't cope with it. "Hmpf.. My hands will be bloody at the exam" he thought to himself as he took a seat on a nearby crate of apples. That he had gotten out of this knot two times before still amazed him, it must have been some fluke that happend twice in a row when he wiggled, but it seemed as if that fluke seased some time ago.

He had enough of it all and started to use his arms instead of just his forearms, he chugged first the right fist forward then the left, continuing on it that motion to create some loose ends in the knot. His biggest focus was the pain that he tried his best to ignore, ignore the pain that was smacking his pain cells over and over again. Soon enough the knot loosened and fell quite dramasticly to the ground, Masanori smiled and fell with his butt ontop of the crate of apples again. Any larger person would have broken the crate, but not dear old Masanori.

"Good job man. Guess what the hardest part of the training is?"

He paused for a half a moment to give Masanori enough time to come up with a response but not enough to voice it and then he continued.

"That part you just completed, the rest is a breeze. In light of your recent difficulties, take a moment to cool off before we begin the third and final part of this exercise."

After his little speech, Shin did as promised and gave Masanori a few moments to collect himself, a little reprieve to relax and let his muscles rest. During this time Shin would be hunting around for a new piece of rope, as the previous cord was too damaged to be of any further use in training. Seeing how easy it was to find a piece the first time, he probably wouldn't need to look too long to find the source of the original cord and tear off a few new piece to tie into knots. With one of his new strands of rope held firmly between his two hands, he would approach his "student" once more.

"Now, for you final part you simply have to do what your were doing before, except now instead of just working your fingers to loosen the knot, you will mold your chakra into into the rope in order to weaken or loosen it. In such a fashion, escaping from a rope bind becomes sooooo much easier. Now let us begin."

And without further ado, Shin would begin to tie Masanori's hands behind his back once more.

He looked up at his partner when the rules of the other game was applied, which seemed great. Really great. He have had enough of the whole pain thing, chakra control was something he was getting the hang of. He took a few long and deep breaths before reaching out with his two hands and letting them be tied together. Then he rose and started to focus. Once the chakra were beginning to flow throughout his fingers, he thought of the chakra - like tiny snakes. Do wiggled and roam around the rope's tiny quarters to slowly loosen it up for him. And it didn't take long before the rope could easily be taken off by simply raising one of his hands. "Again"

Shin gave Masanori a big thumbs ups as he watched his remove the rope bind in no time all.

"Not bad at all. Alrite, let's try to make it a little tighter."

And once more, Shin would tie the rope around his partner's wrists, making it as tight as he possibly could. And he would continue to do so for three more times.

The rough material of the rope had he gotten accustomed to, but the fact that they were always placed at the same spot where he had gotten the burnmarks from when using only force and random movements, were annoying. Still when he practiced the rope technique with chakra - he didn't need to move an inch. Although he did need to focus, which clearly he wasn't doing this time.

His breathing had begun to pick up it's pace, which was somewhat humiliating in his opinon. In all this time when he had been training the rope escape technique with Shin, he hadn't moved more than a couple of feet. But still his underlydeveloped muscles and lungs had given him quite the breathing that could be similar to an obeseperson.

5d20 - 2 + 5 = 8. Failure.
DC: 23.

He took a seat, not to just catch his breath, but to also to take his mind off the fact that he needed to stiffen his legs to stand. Sitting down helped him greatly when he trained his chakra molding back at the academy for the first time. "It seems this is going to take awhile. Shin dosen't seem to mind.. I bet he had a rough time learning this technique as well." He thought to himself as he took a few minutes before attempting again to loosen his rope.

He moved his hands and arms upwards - stopping a a short distance away from his face. His eye then squinted and focused intensely on the piece of rope that was surronding his wrists and part of his hands. A blue chakra line started to be seen across the context of his hands and rope, but it didn't do much more than to create light. It just continued to shine pretty.

20d20 - 2 + 5 = 23. Success.
DC: 23.
2/5.

"LOOSEN" he shouted in his own head and the blue chakra that surronded his wrists exploded in a short but intense white light - suprisingly resulting in that manner of the rope falling down onto his lap. Masanori couldn't help but to let his lips form a tiny smirk. "Yes!" he cheered for himself as he walked over to Shin to get his wrists tied up yet again. "Another one please"

14d20 - 2 + 5 = 17. Success.
DC: 16.
3/5.

His wrists got tied together, in a much more firmly manner than the last time. He didn't mind him though, he took a seat on top of the woodencrate and held the piece of rope in a short distance away from his eyes. "Okay I have tried to slowly, loosen the rope in a discreet way using chakra to wiggle, creating space little by little and I have also tried something that looked like a more exploding side of chakra control by somehow burning away small parts of the fibres that was the rope." it didn't take long for him to choose which one was more suited for a ninja or his personality. He conjured up a scenario in his head where he had gotten into an situation, where his wrists were tied up and possibly left alone in some forsaken, tiny room. The discreet technique would not be seen nor heard which guranteed a smooth escape. While the secound option was fast but could set off an alarm and gurantee a non-smooth escape. He chose the first tehchnique. And as he did so he focused yet again, some kind of aura to slowly loosen the rope. Giving Masanori the option with little effort to remove the rope by hand.
