I dunno about arrogance for a weakness for form two. wouldn't that be more of a character trait?
Yes, its a character trait. But its also a weakness, because arrogance usually makes a person underestimate the problem and attempt to do things he normally wouldn't consider doing. Arrogance is a superior attitude through false assumptions.
As i like to put it, boasting is only confidence if you can back it up.
No, its a character trait that is a weakness. Like let's take ataru, whos weakness is aging. It would make sense for Yoda and sidious, but not Aalya secura. Its not really aging, but more of an attempt to cover for lack of physical strength the task demands. Yoda couldn't fight without the force aiding his attack, because old farts just don't move that fast.
You get my drift? Styles usually cover for character flaws, not necessarily weaknesses. Mace windu was covering for inner darkness, which is not necessarily a weakness in itself, but a trait which he did not want to expose on the outside.
Its kind of hard to describe. A style usually is linked to a character personality trait which one wishes not to expose, but he or she might (like dooku for example) expose it anyway.
Kai-Adi- Mundi versus Dooku. Both used form II, but kai decided to emphasize his calmness and confidence, while dooku tried hiding his arrogance.
