Yes, I believe I would.
(I've cut myself before.. but only experimentally.. and I knew what I was doing.. and I did clean the knife beforehand to prevent infection)

Uh, if I hated them and was in a fit of rage, then yes.
(I've also cut myself, during a period of depression, but I'm all better now)
