Glory continued to have her head rested on Ran's shoulder. She smiled to herself. "...no need to be....I'm....I'm glad it was you.." she wispered kindly.

Kishi had listened to everything Franki had said with a frown. He sat in the kitchen for a long time... even after he heard his 'mistress' leave. What did he want from this... she had her 'teach' to take care of everything.. was he necessary? Mistress Sakura had told him he was needed... he was important to whoever he guarded. It seems that she was like all humans... a liar. He wouldn't change so he would leave.. and he did. He just walked out of Li's place and tranformed flying off to an unknown place. He would find Franki later and watch over her... from afar.
Hyozan had to hurry home... he had to cook dinner again! And this time he couldn't be late.. cardcaptoring would have to wait!! he rushed in his house and started cooking oden ((flash back to inuyasha)). It was Oyu's favorite.. she'd be happy!! He had placed Kisha nearby... yet out of the way so she didn't get hurt by anything. He could be a messy and dangerous cook sometimes!

*Ran could almost feel himself crying from how cute she was. There was definitely a loving bond forming between them. Perhaps with the loss of his family, he could find salvation in Glory. He hugged her closer and held back joyful tears* ...thank you. crying

Glory said nothing as she barried her head on Ran's shoulder. Feeling his warmth as she closed her eyes. In response to Ran's 'thank you' she nodded her head slightly but then opened her eyes blinking them in confusion. " 'Thank you?'...for what?" she asked.

*Ran shook his head and smiled* Nothing. It's nothing. *He walked over and pour a couple cups of tea* Care for a drink? It might calm both of our nerves... sweatdrop

Glory smiled and nodded. "Sure why not?" she repsonsed as she tucked some of her long brown hair behind an ear. After that she took the cup of tea, blowing on it before taking a few sips.

*Ran nodded and sipped his tea lightly. He smiled warmly as he watched her. Even the most common of things that she did were cute to him. He blew off the steam and sipped somemore*

::Ran and Glory's quiet moment would be inturrupted by a sudden scream from one of Ran's neighbors as the woman finds the body of a young teen girl, rapidly losing it's life warmth, pulse gone. it seems the card had not truely accepted Franki, she was not truely its master, she wasn't strong enough to handle it... and now she was gone::

Glory felt the warmth of the tea fill her body. But it didn't compare to the warth Ran gave her when he held her. She mentally smiled at that thought. She took a few more sips before placing her tea down. Still not sure of what to say....she bean to fiddle with her hair. She herd teh scream of a woman and wondered what it could be. '..Maybe's it's La Mort...I better get Franki...but wait where is she?' Glory thought. "Where's Franki?" she asked in a worried tone of voice.

*Ran tosses his cup into the sink and hurried towards the door. She was going outside last I remember. *He quickly opened the door and peered outside, only to see the woman and the lifeless body of Franki* Fr-Franki? ...Franki!!! *Ran dashed towards and slid down to his knees, scooping her up in his arms* Glory! Call an ambulance! Now!!!

Glory looked at Franki's body, her eyes getting watery. She nodded to Ran's plan of action. Quickly going to the phone and calling for an ambulance. Trying hard not to cry. '..why? why is she like this?.......I should hae sensed it!...' she thought.

(okay, here's the deal.... first of all, Franki might not die. thank you for letting me talk at you, Jez blaugh anyway, as i was falling asleep last night, i figured out a way that this would have happened to Franki if she wasn't a cardcaptor and if she was. since both are likely to happen, i'm going to wait until i come back to see where everyone is before i decide what i'm going to do with her. until then, the teen of dark position is open and if someone comes by who wants it, they can have it. i'll just go with the non-card captor idea. if not then maybe Franki'll keep being the teen of dark. also depending on how i'm feeling when i get back, Franki might die anyway, or she might survive.... if she does survive and if she is still the card captor of dark, i have an idea of how to keep Kishi in the sl as more than just an observer ::evil smile:: poor Franki.... heh heh heh.... anyway...)
::Franki laid limp in Ran's arms, not seeming to breathe, growing paler with each passing moment. the paramedics arrived quickly, though it might have been too late. they took Franki from Ran and tried to shock her heart into beating again, snapping out med talk quickly. it didn't look good... then, finally she takes a sharp breath, but doesn't open her eyes. they medics rush her into the ambulance, asking Ran and Glory several questions as they do. what happened? how did they find her? what was her name? who were they? did she have a history of such attacks? and so on. at the hospital they rush her to the emergancy room, where Ran and Glory couldn't follow. there they spent several long hours trying to stablize Franki. when they finally succeeded in doing so, at least enough that she wouldn't die without attention, she was moved to a room and hooked up to several machines. as her family was being called, Ran and Glory were allowed to visit her. it was amazing how much a person could change just because of illness. she didn't look like her normal tough tomboy self... the pale girl laying in that bed looked she she'd crumble if you even touched her, her breathing coming a bit ragged. it takes nearly half an hour for her family to get there, but when they do, the ALL do, all her brothers, her parents, her aunt, her uncles, her cousins, her grandparents. they're all frantic to know what's going on and Ran and Glory end up getting shooed out. the doctor told Franki's parents that it was uncertain what had happened to her and that it was equally uncertain that she would live. only time would tell... the family was exhibiting normal breakdown stuff, crying, quiet hystarics, denial, staring at Franki in the bed, so on. the room wasn't big enough to hold all of them, so over the course of the days, one or two would always be with Franki while the others found ways to keep themselves busy... Visitors would be welcomed every so often, animals included so long as none of the nurses or doctors would see them. always there would be a family member in her room, though that family member would usually seem so lost in his or her own thoughts that he or she wouldn't notice what's going on in the room if a bomb went off. as time goes by, Franki would have periods where she seemed to be getting better, and then times when she seemed to be getting worse. she never wakes up::
(I covered every base i could think of, that's just the outline of what happened. since my char is passed out, y'all can fill in the blanks and whatnot and i'll just figure out what'll happen to her when i get back. sorry for the mess)

*Ran and Glory had checked in on Franki periodically but never saw her getting any better or worse. Both of them feared for her safety and struggled to find out if there was anything they could do besides pray. For the moment, Ran and Glory had returned to his apartment to try and ease the tension. Ran had prepared some hot tea and they sat and wondered about the outcome of this predicament. Ran knew that he wanted Franki to get better and come back to consciousness, but he could also feel the negative energy pulsing inside that desired her demise. How could he be such a cruel person?*

Glory tried to put on a happy front. Saying that everything would be alright. That in due time Franki would get better. Yet inside, in her thoughts.....she blamed herself. Why hadn't been able to sense something was wrong with Franki? If she had sensed something earlier then Franki would be alright. Be talking with them and being with her family.....instead of being in the hospital. Glory did her best not to cry...even though that's all she wanted to do at the moment.

*Ran placed a warm cut of tea on the table in front of Glory and looked down at her, another cut of tea in his hands* You alright? You seem like this is really getting to you. *Ran felt the heat from the porcelain cut begin to burn into his hand but paid it no mind. He just continued to look at Glory with a concerned expression*
