This guy's tricky, the Dragon Pokemon thought to herself. She pondered her choices of how to attack Kingdra-- he was very clever, and only had one weakness to attacks, which he was easily able to avoid, by the help of his Dive attack. Gah, why can't I use Disable on him or something... Wait! That's it!

She slowly lowered until she was hovering but a few feet above ground, eyeing her unmoving opponent the entire time. After a moment of preparation, she launched another Twister attack at Kingdra,
causing him to act out a repeat performance. He used another Dive attack, hiding as the Twister went by.

At that moment, Krystal seized the opportunity that was present. She shot forward like a missile, spinning her body the entire time. When she arrived over the water that Kingdra was hiding in, she loosed a Thunder Wave into it, before moving off to the side.

Weak jolt of electricity or not, the water had a charge placed through it, which not only paralyzed Kingdra as the attack was intended to do, but it also electrocuted him and delt him an unprecedented amount of damage. He made a noise in anger as he tried to chase Krystal, but his paralysis prevented him from going very far.

Awesome, Krystal thought, a glint in her eye, it worked!

"W-we were l-looking for your P-Po-Ponyta. O-our Boss w-wants use to collect all th-the strange colored Pokemon we see." The teen managed to make out looking frightened.

Picking the kid off of the ground Dante got up as well. "Listen up you little punk. You are going to take me to wherever my Ponyta is being held. Because if you don’t then I will not be held responsible for my actions." Giving a little shove. "Don’t you dare think of running either because my ghostly friend will attack." He advised coldly. At his words Kenny floated over to the teen and gave him a piercing look with his single eye.

Shuddering at the look the teen nodded. "W-we have a-a base. I-I can ta-take you to it." He managed to get out. Dante only glared at him expectantly. Dante's normally calm if somewhat aloof demeanor was all gone, the normally not very intimidating boy looked like he was going to kill someone. Shuddering and looking away the teen just wanted to get this all over with. Heading to the path they were soon on their way back to Vermillion City. After all of the running around it took a bit longer to get back to the outskirts of the city. At this point the teen lead them to a small building, it was old and looked like it was abandoned several years ago. "There, they should be in there! Th-there's an under ground area. They all should be in there." He said pointing to the building shakily.

"Kenny, go look and see if he is telling the truth." Dante said watching the abandoned building carefully. Doing as he was told the small ghost floated over to the building and went through the wall into the inside. Not looking at the teen who had lead them to the building as he reached into his bag and pulled out a cigarette and lighter. Lighting it his black eyes still on the building in front of him he finally spoke to the teen. "If you were telling the truth you can leave. Though I never want to see your face again."

"Okay Shining jump through the rings with your Quick Attack and hit-land on Staryu to get back to the land!" Mag said knowing that the smallest group of rings would hurt but Shining should be able to pull through for now. And hopefully it would do enough damage to Staryu that it would tire out at the same time.

Going ahead with the plan Shining watched the rings of water get closer and then jumped up a white light appearing behind her as she moved through the exact center of the ring and flew through the air at Staryu. Landing a solid hit with her hind legs in a sort of jump kick and propelling herself back off to another platform while it went back under the water presumably for another attack.

He let out a sigh, tapping his fingers on the armrest. "I wonder what's taking her so long?" Mike yawned, tilting his neck until he heard a pop. "Must have gotten into another fight somewhere." The waiting game was never fun, but he really couldn't complain. He'd been the frustrating reason his friends had remained in one place before, so the boy remained silent with his fretting.

Ah, much better! Portabello's clawed feet made muffled clicks on the tile floor on which he dripped the remnants of his shower on. A towel hung from his cap, coated in black residue from the Fossil Pokemon's 'assault'.

"Portabello!" The boy chastised, snagging a few stray napkins on the table. "you're getting the floor all soggy!" The boy began to wipe up the mess, the Breloom slowly tip-toeing back to the showers. "Sometimes he makes me wonder..." Mike grumbled, letting out a whine as some of the watered down grime found its way onto his pants.

After a few moments of waiting Kenny came back floating over to Dante and pointing over to the building giving a small nod. "Good job there Kenny. You can go now." Dante said coolly not looking back. Heading towards the building Dante pushed the door open stepping inside the dark building. Looking on the ground through the dim light he spotted a clear area on the floor that didn't seem to have any dust on it. Going over he bent down and carefully ran a hand over the wood flooring until his slender fingers finally found a small groove in the floor. Frowning slightly he felt along it for a moment before carefully pushing it in. Immediately a medium sized square in the floor popped open in a hatch type of way. 'Hmm I guess the punk wasn't lying.' Dante thought to himself as he got up and walked down the steep steps that were inside the hatch. Kenny watched his trainer go some what worriedly before floating down with him.

The basement of the small building was much larger then the upper floor and was much cleaner then it was upstairs. When he reached the bottom Dante found himself and Kenny in a hallway sort of thing. It wasn't to long and there appeared to be to rooms. One was an office of sorts the door was closed so Dante was guessing. The other didn't have a door and there was a strange light coming from it. Both eyebrows came up curiously as Dante walked carefully down to the open room being careful that his boots didn’t make much sound as he walked over the concrete floor. However his caution was almost taken from him when he heard a loud familiar whinny coming from the room followed by angry voices. Taking in a sharp breath Dante trying to stop himself from doing something stupid. Apollo was his first pokemon and he loved the pony dearly, however he would be of no help if he just barged in there. Instead he continued slowly to where the sounds were coming from. There were several sounds that sounded like Apollo's hooves hitting the ground or something else and a few curses as well. When Dante finally made it to the door he peeked inside the room and his normally unshakable self was a bit shaken to see what was in the room.

Pedaling up a little ways past the Guard House Linalee noticed a small cottage up on a ridge that was a way's up the trail. It seemed like it would be impossible to get to from below which meant that she'd have to go and take the long route back around to the top of the ridge wherever that was. But determined to get some information she peddled on.

After about 15 minutes she was up at the top of the ridge looking at the moderately forested bath below her. The bike wouldn't be a very safe option so after some fidgeting she managed to compact it and moved on foot towards where the house had been.

Deciding that this was as good a time as any she released Cisashwi into her arms. She would be fine for a few minutes especially since she was part ground type. With a "Barboa" Cisahswi formed in Linalee's arms. "Hey there cutie!" Linalee said giving her a hug and moving on down a semi-existant trail.

She moved south and followed the rough trail. It seemed that the owner of the cottage had not really cared for visitors or even keeping up the trail for him/herself. But either way it was still an adventure. Linalee pushed through the brush and finally found her way to a more clear area.

There was a ring of trees and in the middle of it all was a small Spearow. It noticed the girl and seeing her pokemon hovered over up expectantly. It seemed the little guy wanted to battle. Not having used Cishaswi before Linalee was happy to oblige.

"Okay girl... Now let me think of a good move... Oh yeah, Mud Slap!" Linalee shouted finally thinking of the move that she had been told of. But she didn't quite have her head on straight so to speak since her enemy was a flying type the all ground move did was land several feet below the now soaring enemy.

Kilik's eyes began to glow in the light of the fire. He watched his faithful companion take the blow directly to the jaw of the largest sphere. Weezing let out an anguished cry and spiraled into the air. Upon catching himself and stopping mid-flight, he put on the most determined expression Kilik had ever seen. "Weezing!" the boy called out, "Use another Sludge!"

Machoke didn't have much time to react, taking the icky substance straight to his eyes. The Pokemon crashed to his knees, rubbing his forearms vigorously across his face. "Machoke! Attack with Fire Punch again!" The Pokemon lifted his head up, seeing a faint outline of what was his target. The Sludge still on his face obscured his vision, but not enough. The burning fist connected once again with Weezing.

Yet another cry came from the strange creature, and he regained his composure. Another attack like that, and he would surely be down for the count. Weezing looked over at his trainer. Kilik needed to pull something drastic, and fast. Otherwise, he was going to be down one Pokemon. Not only that, but it would make him look a fool in front of all these people. Biting his lower lip, he began to fight with himself in his mind.

As Crenu watched Kyson finish off the Houndour, he grinned as he thought to himself. Heh, he'll do fine. Looks like these two don't need me right now, and that punk kid over there is doing his own thing. Damn, to think a brat like him was a Rocket Admin, it's almost insulting. I'm everybit as strong as he is, stronger! Crenu clenched his fist, slamming it into the ground. He called Larvitar back into his pokeball and got up, making his get away without a word. As he left the battle site and back to the poke center, Nurse Joy came running up to him.

"Oh my, are you alright? What happened to the Rocket guy and the pokemon? And what about those three other kids that ran by here?" She looked at him with concern and curiosity, fearing for the worst.

"Don't worry about it. The rocket is as good as done, you'll get your pokemon back. Two of those kids are my friends...you're in good hands." Without another word, Crenu kept walking forward, through the crowd of people who bombarded him with a barrage of questions concerning who was doing what and what was going on. He ignored the peanut gallery and continued onwards until he was clear of the mess of people, right into the poke mart only a few meters away, a few persistent gawkers still asking him questions. As he walked up to the counter, the man at the counter greeted him.

"Welcome, how may I help you?"

"I would like three super potions and...." He looked at the contents of the store catalog on the counter. "I'll also take a TM 13 and a TM 31."

The man at the counter nodded and made his way to the back, coming out with two thin cases and three potions all in his arms. "Here you are. That'll be 7,100 please."

Crenu placed all the items in his bag's many pockets, then took out his wallet. He had just enough with nothing left over, causing him to sigh deeply. he payed the man, then left the store.

It was almost like it was a big lab of sorts. There were a bunch of tubes scattered through the room that seemed to have some weird things inside of them. There was a bunch of expensive looking equipment as well. In the center of the room there were two people, one of which Dante recognized as the kid who tried to get him to trade his Ponyta. The other was dressed in a lab coat and was trying to calm a familiar black and white Ponyta down. The teen from earlier was trying to hold Apollo down with a sort of muzzle on his nose while the scientist was trying to calm the wild pony down. Apollo though, strong little thing that he was, was putting up quite a fight and could be seen bucking and spitting flames out all over the room.

"Damn this pokemon is much stronger then the other ones you brought in!" The scientist cursed at the teen.

"Hey I had to take it from a trainer! Are you almost done over there! Its really hard to keep him from doing more damage then he is all ready doing!" Was the irritated response.

The scientist just glared at him for a second before trying to get close to Apollo again he had a strange device in his hands. After a moment, between one of Apollo's bucks and flame spurts he dashed in and jabbed what might be a needle attached to the strange device into Apollo's flank. Almost as soon as it went in a small beep was heard and the scientist withdrew the device and looked down at the screen on the item. "Yeah well you might as well have let the trainer keep it, this one's not the original, its the clone we lost two months ago around Fuchsia." The scientist said with a growl.

Upon hearing that last part Dante blinked in surprise. 'Clone?' He thought looking over at Apollo curiosity. Kenny who was also listening in looked over Dante's shoulder into the room curiously. 'Are they cloning things here? Why would they do that?' He thought as he decided to watch a bit longer. Now that he could see Apollo he was feeling much better with the fact that he could step in anytime to help the Ponyta. Besides, he figured it might be a good idea to listen in and figure out what exactly was going on here.

Realizing the mistake Linalee mentally scolded herself for being so stupid. The Spearow however was quite content and landed a Peck attack before ripping back to the skies. "Okay let's try something else... Right! Water Gun it now!" Linalee cheered as she pointed at the Spearow.

It flew nimbly around the sky avoiding each jet of water. The bird was quite slippery so to speak... "Keep it up!" Linalee said hoping that Cisashwi would be okay seeing that it had now not been in water. But suddenly an idea came to her. With a snap of her fingers and a confident smile the young lady commanded a Water Sport 'attack.' Stopping the pointless shooting Cisashwi directed water from the poors of it's body up into a small column that came landing softly back on it and in turn created a convient, all be it, small puddle for her to exist in. "Now try to water gun it!" Linalee said as Spearow swooped in close for another Peck.

The two forces collided and the Spearow sped away quite a deal damper now than before. But it wasn't quite finshed yet. With a loud squawk it charged on. "Water gun!" Linalee said but instead of that move Cisashwi decided to try something different. Sitting in the pool for a moment before leaping out with mysterious yellow energy flowing across it's body like an eel, a well time and super effective Spark attack. The pidgey fled after taking a massive hit. Cisashwi was also tired but had not fainted. "ALRIGHT!!!" Linalee squealed as she ran to pick up her pokemon. But on second thought after noting the massive volume of mud on her just recalled her with a "Good job." as reward.

Crenu made his way into a clearing, by now no one was following him. "Damn punk, I'll teach him to act like he's better than me. I'll take out Bugsy first, then I'll go take that guy on too. but first, I've got to heal up my pokemon and strengthen them." Crenu let all three of his pokemon out at once. This time, the red flood did not unleash the playful energy filled pokemon it usually did. All three of them seemed dead, injured and low on power. Crenu took a hard look at them, then pushed away all his thoughts as he opened his bag and held it at his side. Taking an orange potion out from his bag, Crenu sprayed it all over Poliwag until it was all gone. Poliwag winced when the medicin hit his body, but soon regained his peppy demeanor. Crenu smiled, then did the same to Spinarak and Larvitar. In an instant, he had his three companions back and he was happy. "Alright guys, now for a little boost... Larvitar, Poliwag, front and center." As the two pokemon walked forward, Crenu took the two disks out of his bag. First, he took the light blue disk and pressed it onto Poliwag's forehead. The dirk began to glow and Poliwag closed his eyes tightly. Withing moments, the disk shattered into hundreds of tiny pieces, now useless. Crenu took the second red dirk and did the same to Larvitar who had the same reaction as Poliwag. When both disks were dust, the two pokemon looked at Crenu bewildered. "Poliwag, I want you to use icebeam on the ground!" Poliwag looked at Crenu strangly, but as if from instict he immediatly looked at the ground and from his mouth shot a powerful beam of pure ice energy, creating an ice block as he flew through the air. "Larvitar, use Brick Break on the ice!" Larvitar was equally confused, but with the same instinct clenched his fists and they started to glow. Larvitar charged at the ice block and unleashed three mighty punches, shattering the block to shards of nothing. "We're ready."

Bugsy was in the middle of straightening the last patch of grass that was uprooted from the last battle, patting the replacement sod with care. "There, just as good as-" Interruption took the form of a detonation outside him Gym, causing the little Leader to fall face first in the patch of grass he so lovingly tended. "What in the world?" His questions would have to wait, another blast could be heard from outside. "Sounds like trouble!" Bugsy brushed himself off, making a mad dash to the exit doors of the Gym.

A mob of people greeted him, each of them frantic and panicky. "Bugsy, it's Team Rocket, they're up to no good again!" Without another word, he stepped forward, the crowd parting before him. He recognized one of the trainers, the boy who had just recently defeated him, Kilik. "Attention!" He shouted, placing his hands on his hips. "I am Bugsy, Gym Leader of this town, and I demand to know what is going on here!" His voice boomed with authority, even if he was only a child.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 05, 2007 3:51 pm

Kilik looked over at the boy and then back over at Dramon, his behemoth of an opponent. "Sorry, Bugsy. It's a load of Team Rocket cronies," he explained, digging his heel into the dirt, "Not sure of the whole story, but I heard it on the news and thought I'd drop in." The boy crossed his arms and shooks his head, "Good thing I did, too. Otherwise, it would have left these three," he looked over his shoulder at M.A. and Ky. Crenu had gone missing, "Well. These two to face against ol' Whiskers over there." He nodded at Dramon.

"Shut yer trap, boy!" the man jabbed a meaty finger in Kilik's direction, "You know full well you don't have what it takes to clean my clock! You're going down here and now!"

Taking a step back, Kilik began to laugh to himself. "Oh, boy. Look, Dramon. If I wanted a laugh or two, I'd have asked Mazarin to crack a joke."

"So it was Spark that Pete was talking about." Linalee smiled to herself. That would be a powerful move to use against other water pokemon and annoying flyers like that Spearow. Without much further obstructions Linalee found herself at the entrance of what seemed to be another Pokemon Daycare! "His grandparents sure do know a lot of people." Linalee said going into the building.

"Hello?" She asked noting how the room seemed almost like an exact replica of the store section of Mag's Grandparent's house. Maybe they had some sort of Daycare Center's Guild that standardized all the facilities. After a few moments a man appeared behind the counter in the far right corner of the room. "Hello there." The slightly older gentleman said. He must have been in his late 30's or early 40's as far as Linalee could tell. "Hi! I heard from Mr. Pete Habenfeid you saw a kid with a slightly strange colored Flareon come by here recently."
