Tenkyl Felix

At hearing the voice, Tenkyl rushes past Sundrea and into the room, his claws unsheathed as he looks around quickly for the source of the voice.

"Hello? Who's there?"
PostPosted: Mon May 21, 2007 7:15 pm

Sundrea's ear perked at the voice but before she could move, Tenkyl had hurried past. She followed quickly, her eyes darting around while adjusting to the new darkness. "Are you hurt? We can help you... Where are you?," she asked out loud while looking for the source of the voice.

((Sorry for the delay.))

"Help me, please!" the voice cried again, and then she screamed. The scream was accompanied by a feral growl. Something was in there with her!

"...How long have I been flying..?"

"...It seems like days now..."

"...My body feels so numb..."

"...Is there any land at all..?

"...Am I even going the right way..?

Words floated through Jacks mind as he flew through the skies above the sea of Gambion. Sanity had long been taken from his mind and all that was left was the will to make it to land. How english was still running through his head is unknown to him as he has indeed been flying for days, maybe weeks, with no socialization at all. All of those seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks of non-stop flying would be enough to kill a man, but Jack was not a normal man. But that did not matter, it seemed impossible for anybody to survive that long without any rest, food, water or anything. And that's when it hit. The days had taken its final toll and Jack fell from the air. Falling he headed towards the fast incoming water.

"...What's happening..?

"...I can't move..."

"...Is this the end..?"

"...No, not yet..."

"...I've gone through too much to die now..."

As words flew through his mind Jack finally hit the water sending a rather big splash out around him. He didn't even know if anybody was in sight when he was flying, he was just doing it without thinking. For all he knew there was a boat just ten meters from where he just landed. Hopefully there was as Jack wouldn't be able to survive underwater and unconcious.

Luck was on his side as a boat was actually close by and had now came up beside Jack. The crew memebers pulled him onto the ship and began giving him food, giving him a bed and all those nice things. They said that they would be in Gambino in a day, maybe more maybe less. So without further adu Jack fell asleep and waited to awaken in the isle of Gambino.

Grace jumped out of the ragged slash that appeared on the empty beach and staggered in the sand, wondering if it was even worth the time to ask her companion why she had not bothered to warn her about the unstable footing...and she decided not to bother as she dropped her staff and happily walked towards the waves, smiling and whispering a soft elven greeting to the ocean.

'Andi stepped daintily onto the sand and closed her fold behind her, the rip in space disappearing as if it had never been there. "Well, that was fun, wasn't it?"

stare "No, as a matter of fact I have to tell you 'Andi, that was one of the least 'fun' things that I have ever done..." Grace turned away from the soothing lap of the waves as they crawled up and down the face of the beach. "What the hell was that all about anyhow? We didn't do anything besides almost get ourselves killed...and what was with that deal I made with old lady 'Blind Fate'?"

The blond woman dipped down to pick up a broken sea shell by her feet, brushing the sand off the sparkling fragment. "If you think about it I am sure that you can see several different advantageous reasons for our little foray into Barton... We did not achieve any monumental goals, but you made some new friends!" 'Andi stood back up and ran her fingers over the scalloped edge of the shell with a smile.

Grace sighed and picked up her staff again as she shook her head and brushed the sand off her weapon... The elf did not understand Verandi, the woman was always doing things that appeared to be completely without forethought or reason and this was no real difference, although the hint that perhaps 'Andi had put them through that task for the express reason of allowing Grace to make friends was rather shocking...Trying to understand her companion was exhausting most days xp "Can we go someplace where I can clean up and rest for a while?"

"Certainly...There is a nice little town just up the way..." Verandi dropped her shell back to the beach and headed away from the ocean towards Gambino, leading Grace towards her hearts desire whee

Across the unforgiving desert he flew, high above the merciless sands.

Across the ocean the black-winged scout glided, searching for something it could not entirely define- at least, not unitl he saw him, her, or it. No message, just a search, a trace. Far below it looked, eyes seeming to zoom in and out like miniature binoculars, unti...

Ah, there. On that shore. It shone brightly, it did. Shiney thing... oooh...

The bird wheeled in closer. People were usually not shiney, which meant this was not a person. Well, not entirely. Who was to say?

If she looked upwards before she left, 'Andi would look up and see the raven circling high above her head. Whether she still knew the signifigance of a raven or not depended on whether or not all of her memories were intact from 'that time'.

'Andi looped her arm through Grace's as they headed into town and looked back over her shoulder for only a moment, and winked at the raven!

Come visit dear boy, I have all sorts of interesting things to tell you... She gently implanted her message on the bird and turned it back towards it's master, mentally placing another piece in her personal puzzle...not too many more and I will have everything that I need! whee

And the bird did indeed fly back the way from whence it came...

Well, not before landing in a tree and preening its feathers. After all, it had just had quite a long flight! Some things just had to wait- this was more important. But the message was given, and the raven that was sent had to return with it sooner or later.

So she wanted him to come and get her? That was fine. Perhaps she could help him with a few things in the process...

A dark-skinned man with purple eyes and wearing mostly white, due to the seasonal temperatures of the Isle de Gambino, was seen walking around, inquiring about where exactly a blonde-haired woman with an odd 'feel' to her was staying. It wasn't like he could do anything else, though his other persona definitely knew where she was.

The only answers he got were "There are a lot of people like that."

Of course, he stopped at a hotel and got himself a room for a few days, fortunate that he had told Adele to hold his calls due to a meeting. She did so of course, without asking why.

Sighing to himself, he wondered where exactly the person he was looking for was on the island, but then shrugged to himself and said, "I suppose she'll find me if I can't find her. Look for something when you don't expect to find it, and it will come to you."

With that, he lay down on one of the two beds in the room and closed his eyes. Sleep? No, too early for that. He was just relaxing, that was all.

An hour or so of flying and Jack arrived at the shore to the Gambino Sea. The last time he was here wasn't very fun, starving and about to drown and all. But he was not here to go for a little fly, no not at all, he was here to train for the upcoming Heaven or Hell Tournament. With the little ranged attacks he had these upcoming training sessions will focus on ranged attacks. Nobody will see Jack for around three days when the SEFO vs Leviathan tournament starts. After that Jack will return here to train, train and train!

Walking upon the hot beach Jack makes his way to a cliff that looks over the sea is. Instead of going ontop of the cliff he makes his way below where a cave is. Outside the cave is about thirty-fifty feet of sand. This will be where he will train for fighting.

Once in the cave Jack looks around at the cool shaded cave. It wasn't a very big cave, just thirty meters from the entrance to the end, and it had nothing inside it. <********, I need some things to live off..." Jack whispered to himself. But then he thought of how more intense the training would be if he just used what he had on him. Smiling at the idea he began his training.

Removing his leath top and various things on him, including his cigarettes. Now standing in only his pants and single gauntlet Jacks body was revealed to the world. His torso covered in bandages from a recent fight, his left arm was also covered in bandages. Within the cave he began doing stretches for the upcoming training. Stretching most of his body, except his left arm incase od interupting the process it is going through currently, Jack was ready for training. Walking out of the cave and onto the forty or so feet of sand infront of him Jack looked to the sky. The cliff behind him covered the sand with shadows allowing the training to be not as hot as it could be. Pretty handy.

Walking out half way to the middle of the beach Jack looked around to see if anybody was around. Seeing nobody he began to see if he could preform the 'spirit gun' attack that Yusuke had used. Since Yusuke was fighting in the upcoming HOH Jack would have to counter the spirit gun attack if they ever fought. Holding up his right arm his fingers got into a gun like position that little kids do when they are playing cops and robbers. Breathing out Jack began focusing his energy into the tip of his finger. Energy continued to pour into his finger till it was glowing red, but a ball was not forming at the tip. Yelling out in fustration all the energy was released in an explosion erupting out of the finger tip. Flying back from the explosion Jack grunted and stood up again. This was going to be a long three months.

-Day I; End-

A day had passed of training and now Jack was within the cave. His bandages were hanging loosely and covered in burn marks. Infront of Jack a fire burnt brightly while a fish of normal sizes was slowly being cooked above it. While Jack watched the fish he pulled out an orange cylinder with tablets inside. Taking out three he popped the pills into his mouth and continued to wait.

Outside the sand was filled with black scorched holes everywhere. But there was on scorch mark that was longer than the others. The mark wasn't as wide as some but whatever caused it had gone foward about five meters before exploding. Jack had so far done one Spirit gun attack, a crappy one at that. But at least there was one to be proud of.

-Day II-

Overnight Jack had changed clothes to a black robe, red on the inside. Stretching once again jack prepeared for another day of training. The previous day he had done one spirit gun attack, which only last five meters before exploding like the previous attempts. But now Jack knew how to create a solid form of the attack, yet in a different looking style to Yusukes. So with this new found knowledge Jack set out this day to find out how far he could shoot the attack, instead of having it explode five meters away.

Heading outside once again Jack stood in the middle of the sand, but a bit to the left away from an explosion hole. The sun was nearly upon him so the coolness of the shade around him would only last so long. Sighing Jack held his left hand up in the fashion of a gun. Focusing a small ammount of energy into the very tip of the pointing finger a small marble sized red coloured ball of energy formed. Adding more energy the ball grew and grew till it was the size of a softball. Last time it was at a softball size the gun was released straight away. The power of the open energy began taking effect on Jacks bandages and clothes. His right armed bandages began flapping around while his black and red robe began fluttering around also. Jacks left arm wasn't being held up so the bandages weren't being hit by the wind, just incase the evolution process ******** up.

Focusing Jack pushed a blast of energy into his finger which released the spirit gun type attack. Instead of being a ball of energy like Yusukes the red ball was surrounded by red and black electricity. Getting ten meters away from Jack the ball exploded in an okay sized explosion of red energy. Smiling at getting this far with just a day of training Jack continued to use that type of spirit gun, trying to get a tiny bit further away every time. Maybe tomorrow he would focus on adding more power.

"Interesting technique you have there..." A deep voice rumbled behind Jack, like a low roll of thunder.

The boy had been concentrating ferociously, but even then this man's presence would've been hard to detect. He'd suddenly appeared, as if from thin air, as if he had stepped out from behind the wind like one would from behind a curtain. He stood a few meters behind Jack, his hands clasped behind his back as he looked down on him.

Like a mountain, he obstructed the sunlight flowing down upon Jack, his long blonde hair hanging limply around his head, an untrimmed beard covering his face. He was dressed rather simply - black trousers and a white shirt. They looked tailored.

He regarded Jack impassively, almost like a teacher watching his student, or a critic watching a performer.

Just finishing another mini Spirit Gun Jack heard the voice of a man behind him, a low one at that. Lowering his hands the Jack turned slightly followed by his head turning to look at the man behind him. The six foot seven Jack Looked over the large man behind him with a lazy gaze.

"Intresting, yes, mine, no."

Jack replied to the mans comments. It had been over a week now and the spirit gun had barely made any progress. Jacks eyes wandered over the man, the left blood red eye mainly checking out the mans physique and such. The right, icy blue, simply followed with the red. It had been quite a while since Jack had interacted with anybody.
