Suzu leaned against the back of the item stall, eyes closed and listening to the excited, pointless chattering of players eagerly trading off their hard earned gold for a new outfit.

"Ok. I'll have to hold your wrist here. Don't want to loose you in these huge crowds.", Kitsune said with a small smile as he made his way with Rai through the streets of Shibuya to a small alley. "Don't mind the outward appearance. At the end there, is the door to some of the most well preserved games of all time.", he said as he lead the way to the door, opening it to reveal an arcade of games ranging from the original Mario, to the current VR system for the 'World'. "Hey! Pops! You in here?", Kitsune called out, before an old man came out from the aisles of games. He was only a foot shorter than Kitsune, and his back hunched over some. He wore a pair of bifocal glasses that seemed like they were too small. "Ah. Kitsune. It's been a little while. I see you brought a guest. She must be special to you. Haven't brought a guest before.", the balding, white haired codger teased the boy with a goofy smile similar to Kitsune's.

"Let's see. I was wandering around Shibuya one night, the entirity of the party atmosphere filling the air, when I came across that alley. I heard Pops yelling at his PC, I came in, and well, he was having trouble obtaining an item for an event in the 'World'. It was a riddle quest, and he kept answering wrong and had to start over. I started telling him answers, and as thanks, he let's me come here from time to time to play some of these gaming treasures.", Kitsune explained with a smirk on his face. "Don't get so smug. Ya' still haven't beat my high score in Space Invaders, ya' know.", Pops said as he got back to repairing an old arcade machine. "He may be old, but he used to participate in gaming tournaments. See that wall over there? All from his old days.", Kitsune pointed to a wall filled with first place plaques and documents.

"Yes. Yes. I was a legend. For a while. But as with everything in games, time passes faster with them than with reality. There's something new every day, and almost no time to adjust.", Pops said to her as he finished up. "So, we'll be hangin' around here for a while.", Kitsune said as he made his way to the DDR machine. "Rai, correct? There's a certain rule about this place. Tell no one. Even if tortured! That's all I really ask.", Pops said as he left to the back room.

"Rai! You gonna play or not?!", Kitsune called out to her as he set up his settings on the game. Heavy for him, with a character that looked like a rabbit.

And with that, the two were playing DDR for quite the while. Several hours had past, and finally Kitsune gave up. "OK You win. I can't take any more.", he said as he looked at his watch. "5:30! I think we should go. The event starts in 30 more minutes!!!", Kitsune said as he jumped up in worry. "Crap... It'll take me that long just to get home. See ya in a little while Kai!", he told her as he left the arcade.

Kitsune made it back home after some mad skating. "Ok. I'm right on time.", he said as he entered and ran to his room, leaving his shoes and skates near the door. With that, he logged back on.

Kitsu re-emerged in the 'World'. He hurried to the Elf's Haven to get his own yukata for the event. Within moments he changed into it, a rather stylish red yukata with white and gold accents. His sword was at his side, like a real samurai. Even after this change in character design, he still had the gauntlet.
"Ok. Now to wait for Kai and Suzu to go to Delta Blissful Dreamer's Waterfall.", Kitsu said as he waited by the Chaos Gate, leaning against the walls near it to try and look cool.
