"My face? Oh um thanks." He blushed. "Um I don't know. I think It was my father's mask and I never met my father. I think that's why she gave me this mask." He watched her put his mask on. "You look really cute in the mask."

"Oh...I'm so sorry for bringing it up," she said with sadness in her tone. As she placed the mask on her face, she started to wonder how he could wear it all the time. The mask was unique and certainly pretty, but it wasn't made for wearing for long periods of time. It started to get a little stuffy in the mask, her face warming up from the close contact of the mask.
Her muffled voice through the mask asked, "Thanks. But how do you wear this all the time? Don't you get stuffy in this?" She moved her head about, staring out from the mask. The little eye holes were a little larger than her eyes but it wasn't like looking through with your real eyes without any distractions. "You must've had a lot of practice with walking in this mask all the time, I'm having trouble seeing to the side!" She chuckled lightly.

Raistlin's eyes twinkled softly, he nodded his head softly. The treasure's they sought were magic related, altho his brother sought warrior related prizes. "It is true, what we seek has to do with my staff. But there are also many scattered volumes of magic that lie forgotten, just begging to be read by those who are faithful to the craft" He said with a nod "My brother here seeks treasures of warr-" The young mages throat constricted, another coughing spell had caught hold of him, doubling him over, clutching onto his staff tightly he struggled for balance. He tried to breath through the coughing, but there was much dust in the area, irritating his throat. With his free hand he pulled out his hankerchief to cough into, and to catch the blood. "Car...amon.....tea" he managed to rasp out, between fits.
Caramon's ears laid back against his skull, his eyes filled with worry and pain for his brother. He gulped noticibly and muttered a 'coming up raist' as he set about stoking the fire and preparing the soothing tea. Raistlin shuffled towards his tree, as to not cough on Lenneth.
Caramon gave the tea to Raistlin, and went back to stand by the warrior female. "I wish you could have met him before...." He said softly, glancing over his shoulder at his brother. He smiled despite the situation "You shoulda seen the magic tricks he used to do at the fairs. All the kids loved him, kender did too" he laughed, at an old memory.
The mages coughing subsided after a few minutes, but he did not return to the conversation right away, he needed a few minutes to regain what little strength he was capable of.

"No need to be sorry. I loved my mom." He smiled. "Oh? Um I guess since I whore it alot when I was lil it kinda became part of me I guess." As the wind blow it felt wierd. with his mask off the wind could get his nose and face. "It feels wierd with it off. I guess I should take it off more often." He laughed.

She watched and winced slightly at the frail sight of the mage. He had great potential; there was no doubt in her mind about that. Not only did he have potential, he had a great momentum pushing him forward to accomplish magnificent things. It was a sad sight to see him in that state even though she'd only just met him.
Lenneth replied softly yet sadly to Caramon, "There is no doubt in my mind that he was brilliant 'back in the day'. It is sad to see what he has turned out to be--health wise." It was even more saddening to see him rely on his brother so much. With a soft sigh, she wondered if anything could ever heal that poor kitsu. Equivalent exchange sometimes was not so equivalent at all. He wanted great things--to accomplish great things yet this is how he turned out. A fragile, sickly kitsu.
--
"Maybe the reason why your face is so light is because you've been wearing this mask your entire life," she teased. "And maybe because you've worn it so long, all the glitter stuck to your mask." She chuckled lightly before taking the mask off. Taking in a breath, she enjoyed the feel of the cool breeze once more. Haruhi handed the mask off back to him, then said with a gentle smile, "You should keep the mask off for a little bit. I think you look better without it."

Caramon nodded softly, he too didnt like his brother being in this state, but there was little the burly kitsu could do about the situation. "He still is brilliant, and now he has some of the power he needs. They just...didnt have to do that to him....not after what they put him through in the test" He winced again at what he saw during his brother's test. He saw his brother kill him. Well not him persay, but an illusion of him. It was still un-nerving to him though. "Maybe one day, he'll be powerful enough to ease this ya know? Be able to cast a spell on himself to not be so sick.....I'm sure it will happen." His optimistic nature won through again, despite his worry over his brother. He grinned and nodded firmly, the notion that one day his brother would be well was firmly implanted in his mind. To him, it was just a matter of time now until his brother was healthy.
Raistlin waited a few more minutes, before using his staff to help him rise. Setting his tea aside he shuffled towards the two again, his red robes bustling around his feet. He bowed his head softly "an annoying setback...." he said with a very faint smirk, referring to his coughing fits. He balled up his hankerchief, and placed it once more in his robe pocket by his spell componants. Despite his common coughing fits and frail health, he didnt regret his test. He knew without a doubt that one day he would become a most powerful wizard. Perhaps he might even surpass Par-Salin. But that day was long off.

"Hmm..." She flickered her tails as she patiently thought about their next set of plans. It was pretty nice out, too. Probably a good day for a picnic, but too bad this wasn't her home. "Perhaps..." she mused for a bit, "We can go meet other kitsus? Or explore this area a little?"
A light bulb suddenly went off in her head. Her eyes widened at the idea. A perfect idea! Since she only just recently arrived, she didn't know the layout of this place very well. With no intention of wandering only to get lost again, she asked, "How about you show me around here? I don't want to get lost in this place like I did with Ouran," she laughed at herself. "This place seems pretty big," she nodded with a confirmation. Forests, roads and buildings everywhere. It could get confusing once in a while if she didn't have an initial guess as to where she was.
--
Smiling at the brother's confidence, she gave him a strong nod of approval. Raistlin was surely powerful enough, all he needed was the knowledge. She was still curious about the testing procedure and the results of the test that made the optimistic kitsu wince, but she felt it was something not to be asked. Something that would sadden the brother. "Perhaps it best that you two have a healer with you before then?" she suggested. She mused at the idea of Raistlin dragging around a healer with him while the healer to him to rest more. Lenneth could just see the mini fights break out between the two of them. At this thought she shook her head, "Perhaps not..." she mused. It was probably best the two of them didn't have a healer to take care of. It would only weight them down even more.
"As I'm sure," she gave a small dip of the head at Raistlin's words. Though he was frail physically, he still had a lot of spirit in him. To her, he was similar to those flames that never died. They burned with a great passion, and even in the dangers of water never snuffed out completely. He was still a small ember in her eyes, but one day he would surely become one of the greatest wizards of all.

Fai chuckled along with the other kitsu, enjoying his friendly company. "This world seems rather nice. I'd enjoy staying here, but that's not really an option for me." Fai's eyes had a glazed look to them as he spoke. "My only goal is to help the princess and keep moving forward," He looked to Aziraphale,"what about you? Is this your new home?"

Dragain {Thanks. ^^ I'll be leaving tomorrow, but now you're free to RP with others. x3}
Sesshomaru showed no noticeable expression on his face as he stood up, and started to walk away. He knew that walking on three legs make him look a little... Embarrassing. That was why after having it cut off, he had hardly transformed into his 'dog form'.
The youkai disappeared into the crowd, his eyes alert. If Rin was around, most probably she would run up to him before he could even find her.
{He's free to RP with, but do remember that I'll only be back on the 15th... ^^;;} [Indeed I am. x3]
Touga had no doubt that his son will quickly take him up for his offer that he was free to go. He had to admit though, he was surprised that the youkai didn't demand the Sou'unga from him, but was wise enough to not bring it up.
Gold eyes just watched his own flesh and blood disappear into the crowd before scanning around. His tails flicked idley, pondering on what to do as of this moment.
[And now Inu no Taishou and Charl are free.]

How could she forget Ichijo? She poked him gently with the edge of her paw, wondering if he was in a daze. Or by chance he was day dreaming. "Ichijo-san?" She asked with a concern voice. "Do you want to come along with us or do you want to stay here?" Her ears flopped down as she saw his unresponsiveness. With each second her worry of him increased. "Ichijo-san?" She poked him again.
[I have to go to bed now. We shall continue tomorrows? <3 G'night!]

"I'm thinking it'll be as such," said Aziraphale, his voice soft and his gaze equally so as he looked around them a bit. "I have things opened to me, to a limit... but this place is like a new Eden. I and Crowley would be safe here, free from those who may want to punish us for our sins of the past..."

((Last posteh for this particular Dazz RP was pg 38... but since it was just for my fun anyway, I'm not gonna suffer you all with quoting my uberlong post. *grins*))
AearHwesta led the way, the pastel seraphim kit sometimes flying with him & sometimes riding along since he was still building up his wing muscles. Remus & Dazzler chatted amiably -much to the angelic sailor's disappointment- about this and that, while Liliana walked between them. Mostly of Ember & some on what they knew about the scarred kitsu. Which was not much. "We were more concerned with finding those that were lost than in meeting our fellow searchers for the most part, I fear." After learning what had happened, Dazzler insisted that there was nothing wrong with that -as it should be, in fact.
Entering the headquarters they all looked around to see if Ember was there with varying degrees of hope in their eyes.
