"What?" he asked. "Is something there?" he pulled his wand out but his vision was so bad he might end up hitting Sam on accident.

"dont aim it at me!" she said and ducked alittle. "no nothings there...or at least i dont think so." she said thinking she saw someone. "come on we should go." she said taking a step forword.

Shifty was a little embarassed and put his wand away. He walked with her and looked around though it was still no good. "How far are we from getting out of here?" he asked, hardly noticing the fog rolling in.

SHifty heard a twig snap. "What was that?" he asked. This was just great. He is in the middle of the darkwoods with someone, about to be a snack and only she was able to use a wand. What woul happen if there were two of whatever it was? "We really need to go." he whispered.

"yeah." she said being quiet and hidding her fear. she pulled out her wand "Lumos." she said and a light appeard out of the tip of her wand. "we should see what ever it is." she said still walking.

"But it'll see us aswell." he told her. He heard the snap again and turned his head but still saw nothing. He pulled his own wand out, his vision slowly coming back he could now make out the trees around Sam and him.

"My broom." he said. He realized he came into the forest with his. "If we go back, my broom should be by where you found me." he told her, feeling stupid for having forgotten it.

"i dont know if we'll make it." she said qhispering as another branch snapped. "lets hurry." she said slwoly back tracking keeping her eyes on the forest.

Shifty saw a shadow move not far from where they were. "Diffindo!" he said and fired a small streak from his wand. He heard it hit the ground and nothing more. "I know I saw it that time." he said.

"i saw something too." she sadi gulping and then kept walking. "lets just get out of here." she said feeling cold and alone even tho shifty was there with her. "we need to hurry, i think somehting elseis in thweses woods other then creaturs." she added

Miya was bored and she went up to the Ravenclaw common room. She sat on the couch staring into the fire lost in her thoughts.

Shifty nodded. "I can see again." he told her, hoping that would reassure her. He could see his firebolt on the ground. "There it is." he said and without any warning, limped over to it really quickly. When he bent down to pick it up, somethings paw held it down. When he looked up he was face to face with a giant set of teeth.

Zuko returned a few minutes later and said to the pair, "Madam Pomfrey will be along shortly, now come on, lets get out of here. There are things in this forest in this forest that are better left alone, now lets go." Zuko then began to lead the rest out with them in front and him to the front with his wand drew at the ready. The shadows seemed to be playing tricks on his eyes.
