Neko raised an eyebrow, finally paying full, or close to it, attention to what the girl was saying. He looked down at Kyuu, his eyes darting back and forth, quickly glancing between each of the girl's eyes.

"Well then. I wasn't aware that I had any around me. It makes me curious."

Neko leaned down, placing his hands on either side of kyuu's face, and stared through the girl, it seemed, through the weapon that inhabited the body, and deep into the being's soul, his crystal blue eyes seeming as if they could slice through steel. He was trying to speak directly to Hikari. It's only natural that Kyuu would have a bit of the entity in her.

"Why have you wrapped yourself around me, I wonder. Are you keeping tabs on me, or waiting for a moment of weakness?"

Kyuu nodded and looked down at the Orbs she held, she went to say something when Nek touched her. Her own pale blue eyes looked up at her father figures and she froze again. Her hands dropped to her side, spilling the orbs around them as she seemed to be in a daze as he spoke to whatever was in her. Kyuu watched from a distances, seeing a woman take her body and lift her arms up to the strings on Nekos arms. A creepy smile spread across the child like face and her eyes turned ruby red as they narrowed into a sickly sweet expression. Kyuu could not read it, but the womans thoughts entered her mind clearly. She wanted to destroy the father figure, but she had not placed her Hikari on him. Both of them knew that Ishira had.

"I did not wrap myself around you.." The woman said in Kyuus voice, and that was the last draw for her, knowing there was more going to be said and Ishira would not be happy about it. Kyuu then hissed, jumping back into her own skin and grabbing a hold of the strings around him before the woman in her said much more. As she pulled, the strings burst, becoming their own little orbs, and shining brightly. But instead of going to Kyuu, they stuck close to Neko, not clinging but just staying inches from his body. Kyuus small hands held two in each, and it was the only reason the others were visible.

Ishira felt Hikari and her wings tucked close to her, allowing her to drop quickly to the ground. The rush filled her, keeping her thoughts straight. Why was Hikari out? How was Hikari out? Kyuu must have inherited it or something because thats where she felt the woman. She tried not giving into the panic and fear that Hikari could get to her even if she was human now, so she gave into the feeling of having the wind lick her skin as she fell. Right before she hit the ground, her wings snapped open, keeping her from hitting hard and stirring a ball of dust around her. She moved fast, using the Hikari like she would if they were wrapped around her legs, making herself faster then normal beings with wings. Most wouldnt see her coming, only know something passed them as she dodged each person in the market place with ease. When she couldnt get through, she shot up and over them, becoming faster as she got closer to Nek and Kyuu. Ishira rarely used this speed, but she didnt want Hikari near Neko at all. Ishira motioned the orbs around her to go ahead of her, and they shot past her, seeming to disappear and then reappear around Kyuu and Neko. Ishira caught up in moments, walking right past Neko and grabbing Kyuus hands.
"Those are not yours." She growled, her light wings spreading out and around them. "How the hell did you call Hikari?"

Neko could see the malice in the child's face, she could see that Hikari wanted him dead, and he didn't turn away. He wasn't afraid if her, and the returning stare proved it. He stood back up as Kyuu regained control, glancing in the direction Ishira was coming from, impressed at her display of speed. He took a step back to give them room. His attention drifted to the orbs, then to Ishira's scolding.

"I called her. I wasn't aware that these orbs were your doing. I appreciate you telling me, though, I really do. Then again, you're only doing what I would do, so I can't really blame you too much."

He smirked softly, glad that she had come back.

Kyuu cowered, pulling away from Ishira, but failing. Her mother figures grip was tight and her eyes held her as tightly as her hands did. She was not afraid of the Hikari wings that towered over her, those were comforting against the cold stare in Ishiras eyes. No, she feared the demon in front of her. The one she knew was going to tear a person to shreds before, and whos anger was now directed to her. She slowly loosened her grip on Nekos Hikari orbs and she shook her head over and over.
"He could not see them, i-- I was just showing--- I did not call that woman to my body-." Kyuus voice shook as she pulled against Ishiras grip. She wanted to get away from this demon.

Ishira glared, swiping the Hikari orbs from Kyuus hands. She flicked her wrists and the Hikari around Neko surrounded her. Her own Hikari stayed feet away, keeping guard on them as Ishira worked. She touched her index fingers and thumbs together and gathered the orbs in one area in front of her. They quickly formed one large ball in front of her, following the steps in her mind as she went through how to make them into the strings they originally were. She extended her arms, and pulled them apart like they had been stuck together. There was a cracking noise and tendrils shot out of the orb and followed the path Ishiras hands had made. Ishira grimaced as if the action had caused her pain but she watched the tendrils braid together, getting longer and thinner as it started to wrap around her body.

"If i told you when i met you, i think you would have protested... You may not now, but then we werent on such good terms.." Ishiras skin was starting to glisten as a thin coat of sweat started cover her. She touch the now thin line that spiraled around her body, searching it to make sure nothing was wrong with it before glaring at Neko. "We have a problem.."

"Obviously."

Neko narrowed his eyes at Ishira, not in anger, but in thought. He waited for Ishira to finish, chakra pooling in his right hand as he watches for his opening. Sahaquiel leaned against a nearby post, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"But to deal with it, you need to have your head together. This isn't having your head together. Suppress your fox, or I will."
PostPosted: Thu May 13, 2010 9:16 pm

"Obviously..." Her orbs suddenly pulled in, getting between her and Neko. Her eyes flashed as her fingers trailed the braided Hikari around her. Slowly it was thinning, becoming less visible to the others around her. Her eyes would see it though, and she figured it would be the same for Kyuu. The child was becoming more and more like herself, and Ishira wasnt pleased with it, nor was she pleased that Neko was purposely standing up to Hikari. It would cause Ishira more problems then she needed, and right now, control was what she needed. Neko didnt seem to get that, didnt seem to see that what he had just done would piss Hikari off. Her Fox bared its teeth as she thought of the danger he was putting through her, and she knew she was losing her control.

"Hikaris going to have a field day on me, just for the simple thing you did..." Her eyes narrowed at him as she noticed what he was doing. "You're going to seal me? You really think ill give you that chance right now?" He thought he had control, which made her laugh. Ishiras wings covered her back, her orbs her front, and the string of Hikari surrounded her. How did he expect to take her?

Kyuu knew this was not going to end well, and she wanted nothing to do with it. She quickly moved away from Ishira and Neko and took a place next to Sahaquiel. Her eyes went up to the large spear and then the woman. At least the girl had a weapon... It was better then nothing... Kyuu sighed and looked at her father figures back, some how gaining her courage back when Ishiras attention was not on her.
"Told you she was not going to stop...."

Neko sighed and held his arms just barely away from his side, palms out and facing Ishira. He closed his eyes, energy still pooled in his right hand. He raises his chin just a little.

"You need to confront her sooner or later. If you don't want me to seal you then you'll have to strike me down, and prove my point."
PostPosted: Fri May 14, 2010 12:36 am

"I dont want to face her now, let alone when im human. The only time i can possible control or take her is when i am my demon, when i have Hikari and Darkness in my use. If you seal me, that only makes it a pain for all of us here." Ishira snapped at him, the Fox in her becoming irritated that he still wanted to seal her. Hikari wasnt something she wanted to deal with right now, and neither was the fact that Neko wanted to control her. Her ears went back as she took a step away from him. Her anger was getting to her, and it surprised her that she could notice that. Then again, Neko had been pointing it out so much it was hard to ignore. She didnt want him to turn her human, but there was going to be no way around that. He was as stubborn as her, and he would go after her no matter what, until she gave, or was hurt badly enough that she wouldnt fight. She didnt want to hurt him, had no desire to. She loved him and striking him was only going to happen if they were training or truly trying to kill each other. Neither was happening. She took a deep breath, calmed her Fox enough to make her own choice and watched as Neko closed his eyes. There was no way around this, and if she had to have Hikari come after her, then at the least she it was by her hands.

Ishira sent her invisible strings of Hikari to Neko without moving even an inch or giving anything away. She didnt even dart her eyes to Kyuu to warn the child not to say a thing, because she knew Kyuu was going to stay quiet for the time being. Even if she was human, the Hikari would still do her bidding and protect him when she couldnt. Sighing, she lifted her hands in a non aggressive manner and willed the seal to life. Her darkness hissed while the Hikari orbs moved away from her. She felt alone, and fear filled her as her wings and fox features disappeared. She didnt falter though, she wasnt willing to run for his comfort or even allow the shaking to start. She wouldnt fear what she had done..

"If you want Hikari to kill me so badly, at least give me the will to turn human myself..." Her human growl would never express the frustration she felt but she made sure her unnatural ruby eyes narrowed at him in a pissed matter. She walked around Neko, staying feet out of his reach as she headed back for the town. If anything being in a crowd would be the less likely place for Hikari to go after her and at the moment she didnt really want to deal with him or anyone right now.

Kyuu was surprised, gasping a little as she saw the strings wrap neatly back into place. When Ishira turned human, she was no less threatening then she had been as her demon, she just seemed more in control. Kyuu did not dare say a thing though as she watched her mother figure go to leave. She could sense Ishiras emotions much better when she was human, and could almost read each of her thoughts. The Hikari Neko and Ishira had been talking about were not the orbs Kyuu was use to. In fact, it seemed that the woman that took Kyuus body was the one they spoke of. Ishiras thoughts of Hikari not attacking in a city made sense. With both their thoughts and feelings about the woman, it was understandable to think that some one who wanted little attention would not go after Ishira in the middle of a crowded street. Kyuu looked at Neko, wondering if he would stop Ishira.

Neko sighed softly as Ishira complied without a fight, almost in disappointment that she had given in.

"Sahaquiel, stay near, and don't let her out of your sight. Kyuu... Don't do anything stupid."

He didn't even look back at the two as he disappeared in the crowd. Literally, he stepped toward the crowd and his form vanished into a thin mist, only to reform shortly after behind Ishira. He didn't move to touch her, or even try to hide himself. He knew that she was aware of him already.

"Love, I had to know if she was coming after me to get to you. I couldn't sense a damn thing about it. I acted on a hunch, and I will accept the consequences of my actions. You know I'll fight tooth and nail to keep you here and well."

The woman with the spear looked down at the kid and smirked through a sigh.

"So you're the prodigal daughter?"
PostPosted: Fri May 14, 2010 2:25 am

Kyuu looked up at the big woman with large doe like eyes. She looked far too innocent for such an old spirit and she was being sure to use it to her advantage. It was surprising though, hearing the voice of some one else other then her parent figures speaking to her. The fact that the woman had literally been quiet through the whole spat between Neko and Ishira. She furrowed her brow though and looked the the ground, her foot making lines in the dirt as she thought.
"I am the Lady Foxs daughter... I do not know who the Prodigal is." Ishira was not around and her Hikari would not carry the message that she had called Ishira 'Lady'. As it was she considered that calling Ishira by name would seem odd if they were acting as mother and child.

Ishira continued through the town, paying little mind to Neko. She had nothing to say, she already knew he would fight, but she didnt want him too, it was her battle. She couldnt express that without breaking down to her emotions. Ignoring him for the time was the only thing she could do, and well, lead him to the place she was heading for. If anything, no one would get into the room she was heading for, and as a human, Hikari couldnt come through her for the time. She just needed to stay away from Kyuu.
"Follow if you please Neko... But next time ask me before you do something that reckless.." She moved past the market stands and went to the old familiar wooden door. Smiling only slightly, she entered the noisy room, which was silenced as soon as the bartender noticed her. She took one look around, seeing the normals and walked the length of the bar in quick strides. "Fox Tail!" She yelled out and when she reached the end of the bar, there was her drink, the small surprise and all. She took the drink in one gulp and shoved the golden key into the door in front of her. Swinging the door open, she looked at the Bartender, nodded with a sweet smile and headed up the stairs.

"Only if you ask me the next time you do."

Neko followed closely after Ishira, but far enough to keep from crowding her. He let a small chuckle loose when he noticed where she was leading him. He nodded to the bartender before following the familiar fox, paying little mind to the patron's reactions. He would follow her silently up the staircase until she came to her room, where he would wait outside until he was invited in. He had his familiar stare locked onto Ishira, so much going on beneath the sharp blue of his eyes.

"Oh, you're not Lilim, then? That's interesting, I never thought Adam would pass down his knowledge of us."

The woman obviously couldn't give a care about the girl's puppy-dog-eyes. Syn was a sister of hers, and her eyes were much more dangerous.

"Lilim is supposed to be the last of us, the culmination of all our knowledge and experience. We all die so that she may live."
PostPosted: Fri May 14, 2010 2:55 am

Ishira took the stairs two to each step, eager to get to a place she knew was just her own. She didnt slow until she was at her door and it was then that she stopped. Her hands gripped the handle as her forehead rested on its frame. Her eyes were half closed as she caught her breath, damn being human sucked for her lungs. Panic was catching her in its deadly web and the most she could do was avoid it with the determination that she wouldnt be weak, or with the false hope that she would be fine. She gathered herself, not wanting to go into her room with her like this. She needed to be sure she wouldnt break down as soon as she stepped in. For the first time, she looked at Neko, knowing he had been there, knowing he hadnt left her.
"Im surprised Nate let you up here.... I didnt give permission and he doesnt let anyone up without a key..." She narrowed her eyes further before looking away and then pressing her door open. "Come in if you please.." She said as she went straight for her clothing. She needed a change, and this was the quickest thing for now.

"Lilim? Father has not called me that, so i doubt i am... Mother does not have memories of that name either.... Does that mean that i will die if this Lilim is born?" Kyuu did not like that thought, and she did not like that she could not get anything from Ishira about it... Her look darkened as she no longer had the desire to be the child her outer body portrayed. Her blue eyes were turning, having sparks of red form as her anger grew at the thought that this 'Lilim' may be her death.

"Could be. You're obviously Progeny, you have Adam's blood..."

Sahaquiel chuckled softly and shifted her weight, getting comfortable as she put more weight against the post.

"I tend to have that effect on people. I guess it's because I'm such a nice guy, yeah?"

Neko chuckled softly, hoping to lighten the mood a bit as he shut the door behind him, locking it.

"I'm sorry that my actions with Hikari have put you in a tight spot, but I won't let her get to either of us. She can be harnessed, she can be contained until you figure out how to stop what they're doing to you. It doesn't have to be just your fight anymore."

Neko shed his cloak and began to unclasp his armor, laying it by the door as he stretched. It was getting heavier the longer he wore it, it was getting harder to focus and to push on, and it was showing on Neko's face. He was tired, worn out from his own body's war. The small silver streaks were visible even when his eyes were blue now, if only just a little. Whatever was causing him pain was progressing quickly, but he wouldn't stop moving forward. He walked to Ishira and placed a hand softly on her back, letting it drag down gently before he began to walk away.

"I am not you, i am not a slave to that man or woman." Kyuus eyes flashed, turning her eyes completely red in the process. She walked away from the woman, her thoughts on how she was wasted by being put in a body that would die. No, that would be killed. Neko had truly wanted to get rid of her to have put her in a body he would cause to die. She doubted that Ishira knew, but it did not make her much happier. The fact the woman was dumb to the facts of the exchange was not acceptable to her. She growled, no one would control her and she willed the wings on her back to form. "I will not be a pawn like you, i will not die like you. My life will not be in anyone's hands but my own."

Ishira pulled open her dressers one by one on the right side of the room, ignoring and even stepping away from Nekos touch. Since Motoko had been there, things had changed. Her herb stations were filled to the brink and her dressers were stuffed with rainbow colored fabrics. It was obvious some one had been there in her leave, because dust wasnt present on any of the shelves. Her bed was covered with blue satin and many small pillows that framed the head of the bed, instead of the red it had been before. Ishira paid little mind to anything else put the fabrics and bindings she was pulling out. Her hands dived down to the bottom of one of the drawers and she pulled up her old blood covered kimono. It was then she stopped, her eyes looking over the golden stitched dragons that had lost their shine when the blood had covered them. She had never bothered to wash the thing, knowing the blood would never come out and she would never cleanse her mind of the memories. Her hands tightened around the Kimono and she pulled it close, taking in the old scent of blood and pressed it close to her heart. It gave her the strength she needed to continue on, to not give in to the many things she had been offered.

Sighing, Ishira shoved the kimono back into the dresser and went back to her task. From one dresser she pulled out white bindings along with an obi and hakama. She gently folded them, placing them to the side as she put everything back into the dresser and closed it. Then she was at the second one, pulling out fabrics the color of red, with again, another hakama to match. She folded them, and did the same thing she had done with the other dresser. When she was done she grabbed her clothing and went to the herbs. Using one of the fabrics she had pulled out, she laid it over the only space on her table that wasnt covered with herbs, books, or pots. Her eyes drifted across the shelves as she noted what she had. Poisons, potions, charms, and cures. She could make them all if she needed. She pulled the ones she knew would give her energy later, knowing being in her human form meant it took a bit more to keep up with training. Her hands carefully pulled the herbs from their containers, being sure to avoid a few and snapping her hand back when one fell and almost touched her. Cursing under her breath she chose to go to another shelf.

"Being human is causing issues, i cant touch some of these plants..." She was more or less saying her thoughts out allowed, but also indicating that she wasnt completely ignoring Neko. She hadnt wished to talk about Hikari so she never responded to him, which now when she thought about it, was rude. She had invited him in her room, and now he just sat there, watching her, or looking around, probably not sure what to think of the crowded space Ishira considered her only home. Home... Could she call it that when she was rarely here? Could she call it that when she didnt even warm the large bed that covered in beautiful silts and satins? She bowed and shook her head at herself and gathered up the ends of the fabric on the table. It held her herbs until she was able to tie off the ends and make it into a proper bag.

Ishira turned and looked straight at Neko, her shoulders dropping as she felt the urge to run into his arms again. She was breaking, slowly, but it was going to happen if she didnt control herself. Seeing him, and knowing he would be there wasnt helping her. She was losing her independence, losing the normal feeling of being alone. She was starting to feel safe, which should have felt right, but it didnt. She looked away from him almost as instantly as she had looked at him.
"If your tired, you can use the bed.... I dont use it, i dont normally stay here long..." She mumbled, turning to the trunk at the end of the bed and placing her clothes there. her eyes drifted to herbs she had in her fabric and she took the time to pull the ends together and secure the herbs from falling out. Tossing it to the clothes on the trunk she turned to go back to the herbs again.

Sahaquiel shook her head softly, closing her eyes.

"We have a lot in common, you know. We're both weapons, bound to our wielders will. And we're all pawns of fate. To think that your life is in your own hands is... well, childish. I think that body's having an effect on your thinking. You're much too old to be this naive."

She opened her eyes for a moment to look at Kyuu, then began to shift her weight back onto her feet.

"...Don't you dare..."

Neko sat on the bed, watching Ishira carefully, his gaze softening. he noticed the barriers around this room, and knew that it was relatively safe. He noticed the bloody kimono and tilted his head slightly, deciding to not say anything with words.

"...I have some gloves."

He noticed how she was breaking in the brief moment she looked back at him. He looked tired, bags under his eyes, with thin wrinkles above his cheeks, lying about his age, but he couldn't stop, or it would consume him. His eyes told volumes to Ishira in the short time she looked into them. He could let himself go in this room, with her, and he didn't have to hide the secrets anymore. Ishira could see Neko's caring, fiercely protective nature, the one he hid so well with his training methods. Everyone he took in he truly cared about, which is why he pushed them so hard, and he pushed noone harder than he did the woman in front of him. His eyes also showed that, while he was protective, he wasn't stupid. He knew that he couldn't stop everything, which is why he was pushing Ishira so hard, even if it drove her to hate him, he could be happy knowing that she was strong enough to truly take care of herself, to control the immense power she held.

As she turned around, he sighed softly, waited a moment, and stood up, walking over to Ishira again, softly placing his hands on her shoulders. He let his forehead rest against the back of her head, burying his face in her hair, inhaling slowly, trying to not disrupt her work too much.

"It's necessary to take a break every once in a while... It's nice to... to just slow down and enjoy the moment. you know as well as I do that with or lifestyles, we have to enjoy every moment we can, it might be our last."

He chuckled softly, closing his eyes and letting his head slide down beside hers, her hair covering his face.
