Kilik sighed at the Egg, then looked away. There was a cracking sound. At first, he thought it was Flareon popping his neck. However, bits of shell were flying across at his face. The boy looked at the Egg. The center of it had a large crack around the middle. A wide smile crept across his face. "This is it..." he whispered. From the Egg popped a Pokemon wtih a bright yellow color; much like the Egg itself. It's head was shaped like a plug and it had black markings on its body. It had two round arms and two tiny feet.
"Ele!" it cried out, then it looked around. All of the Pokemon in the Center was a bit overwhelming. It grabbed the top half of the egg shell and put it on its head, shivering.
"It's okay, Elekid!" Kilik said, pulling the shell off, "I'm your trainer. Hi there!" Flareon had also gotten very close. Elekid shrieked in horror and jumped onto the top of Kilik's head. The Electric-type gripped his hair tightly. "Settle down!"
"ELE ELE ELEKID!" it whined. Kilik sighed.

Nina dismounted Krystal when she was close enough to the ground, and recalled her Pokemon, putting its Pokeball back onto her belt. That's got to be the millionth time today I've done that, she thought to herself. She looked to the sky again, and morning was slowly making itself present. There was no sun, however-- the rain still continued.
Nina's eyes stung as tears wanted to come forth again. She remembered coming here with Sabrina so long ago when she battled Morty. She looked in the direction of the Gym, and sighed; there was no doubt in her mind that Morty didn't already know of Sabrina's news. She expected that word would have traveled even faster amongst fellow Gym Leaders. Her gaze shifted away from the Gym, and she started to walk toward the town's cemetary, located in the north-northeastern area of town. She had never been to the cemetary before; it was moderately sized, and any normal person would have spent much time searching out a person's grave if they didn't already know where it was. Nina walked around through the cemetary, trying to read the names on each tombstone. After spending about fifteen minutes at minimum of searching, she finally came upon what she was looking for. She kneeled down in front of the stone, and read quietly what was written on it.

Mag walked down to the gym. "Well here goes nothing." He said with a smile as he opened the door to the building and went inside to see what might happen. "I suppose I usually am more prepared than this but I think I can take this guy. Hopefully I can." Mag said with a gulp as he looked about.
The gym was pretty straight foreward. There was a wooden walkway through the main part of the gym. Off of the walkway/platform there was much sand and many large boulders strewn about. Only a single trainer resided in the gym at the moment.
"Hey what gives? Where is the leader?" Mag shouted to the kid. "Hmph. If you want to face Brock you'll have to get through me first! That should give Brock enough time to get back anyway." He mumbed as he pushed a button hidden in a wall pannel.

"Nah, you didn't wake me," Keegan lied, figuring he'd only been half asleep anyway. "Jaeshan... yeah I remember you," he said. "Blonde kid. Mightyena, Nidorino, right?" He sat up groggily, ruffling his hair and glancing around, feeling a bit of disappointment as the red-haired girl was long gone. "Favor? What sort?" he asked, and yawned, standing up in hopes of keeping himself awake long enough to understand the conversation fully, and not make any stupid decisions.

The pokemon let out a loud screech and let go of Kenny as the ice attack hit it. Kenny chuckled to himself befor floating down the rest of the ladder and headed towards the gym. Unfortuantly he was stopped when the Kecleon appeared in front of him and landed a Faint attack on the startled ghost pokemon. Kenny gave out a supprised muffled yelp and floated back. He glared from behind the skull at the lizard befor he launched his own Faint Attack at the annoying thing.

"Yeah, that's me alright," Jaeshan chuckled, and cleared his throat. On with it, he though. "Well, I do remember you said you came from Lavaridge, right? From a family of Pokemon Breeders, if I'm not mistaken." Jaeshan cringed slightly, hearing Keegan's yawns, and had a suspiscion that he'd awoken him. "I'm looking for a Pokemon, you see, and I'm certain they don't appear in the wild, at least not very commonly."

"Aha, I see," Keegan nodded, looking out the window. "You're hoping to comission my folks to get you an egg of the Pokemon you're looking for." The boy chuckled a bit, as he walked over to the water cooler poured himself a drink in a paper cup, holding his PokeNav against his ear with his shoulder, and managing to not spill a drop. "Yeah, that'll be fine, especially if it's a Fire type. We, uh, they specialize in fire types. But I'll warn you, they don't come cheap. Although I might be able to swing you a deal, since you're a 'pal' of mine." Keegan winked, but then kicked himself, for Jaeshan couldn't see him winking through the phone.

As the 'flames' struck Gligar's left wing, the Pokemon let out a cry and a Sludge Bomb attack. "Gilgar!" Winona cried out, starting to worry. That last hit was a critical one, her Pokemon wasn't going to survive much longer.

"Yeah, that's it exactly" Jaeshan sighed with relief, totally oblivoius to the screeching Elekid who'd hatched only moments ago. "I wasn't expecting it to be free," he added, sensing that Keegan had handled these kinds of transactions at home often. "I owe you one for sure," Jaeshan went on. "Thank you so much!"

When the Sludge Bomb hit Bahamut the flying pokemon gave out a cry and fell a few feet befor picking itself up more relying more on its levitate ability then it's wings now. Dante bit his bottom lip slightly worring it between his teeth as he watched his pokemon get hit by the powerful attack. He needed to end this battle now. "Bahamut use your Dragon Breath again!" He called out to his pokemon. Bahamut winced slightly but looked determined as she nodded and opened her mouth again and let out the powerful 'flame's' once more.

Mike jumped at the loud baby Pokemon's cry, nearly dropping Napalm. He whirled around, flashing a thumbs up to Kilik, the baby Magby cradled in the other arm. "Awesome man! Elekids are sweet!" He looked at the strange baby Pokemon, he'd only seen them in magazines but heard very good things about their next form.
Why not? Napalm was just a baby so what could he do? Mike thought to himself as he placed his new Pokemon on the floor and gently pushed him towards Kilik. The fire duck waddled unevenly, a dopy look on his face. A little dribble landed on the floor with a small sizzle and plume of smoke. He reached Kilik, swaying from side to side looking up at him. Napalm seemed a little scared, taking a step back at the giant before him.

"You're darned right, you owe me one," Keegan laughed. "And it's not a problem. I used to do this all the time, night and day. Which reminds me, do you want the egg itself, or do you want it to be pre-hatched? Pre-hatching costs extra, I'll warn you in advance." He stifled another yawn, draining the water from the cup and tossing it into the waste basket. He walked back over to his makeshift bed and sat down, massaging his temple with his fingers.

Kasiya continued to stroll down the street, her feelings of contentment apparent by the smile on her face. "This town is so beautiful," she sighed, happy to be away from all the emotional baggage she'd been dragging around. "Left it on the train," she smiled to herself, pivoting on her good heel suddenly as she heard a high-pitched squeal.
She'd turned in time to witness a flying, pink missile, and it landed only a few yards from where she stood. She took a cautious step forward, and jumped back as it got to its feet and shook itself off. On closer inspection, it was very cat-like, with a puffy pink tail and cute ears. "Aww, are you alright?" Kasiya asked it, but it didn't seem to hear her as it uttered another terrified squeal and made an attempt to run away.
"I didn't say you could run!" she heard a gruff voice yell, and turned again to see a tall, and rather handsome boy walking towards them, his entire demeanor reeking of anger. The boy stalked right up to where the small, pink Pokemon was cowering, reared back with his left foot, and sent the small fluffball flying again. It cried out in fear as it soared through the air, and landed against the base of a tree, where it made a terrible attempt to hide behind its fluffy pink tail.
"...hey!" was all Kasiya could say, her cheerful grin had morphed into one of pure scorn, and she rose up to her full height and strode towards the Pokemon's attacker. "Where do you get off, attacking a poor, defenceless Pokemon like that?" she growled, her eyes narrowed into tiny slits.

"I'll hatch it myself," he nodded, remembering the excitement he felt when Bagon had hatched from her egg. "Would I be going to Lavaridge to pick it up, or would they bring it to me, or what?" Jaeshan asked, feeling his own exhaustion setting in. "And how much will it cost me, anyways?" He pulled his wallet out of his back pocket, and rifled through his cash. I hope I have enough.... he thought.

Kilik looked down at the Magby. "You know Mike, you've got yourself a nice baby, too." Elekid also looked down. However, the Electric Pokemon had leaned forward too far. He fell, from the top of Kilik's head. Before the trainer could catch him, however, there was a thud. Elekid had landed on Magby's head. Quickly, Elekid regained his ground.
"Hey! You should watch where you stand!" he cried out, ignoring that he was afraid.
