You know the whole Clotif and Cleris argument is pointless because there is clearly more to support Clotif since AC and the Novel came out. Like I said before this is just like the Evolution vs. Creationism argument. Claeris being Creationism and Clotif being Evolution.

No one can say with 100% certainty that we came from apes because no one has seen the evolution of man with their own eyes. Simple

Well, my first actually encounter with the Cloud was watching the Aeris death scene. Cloud's reaction and the simple fact that they killed a character that my brother raved was the most amazing female character ever concieved really left a good impression of Cloud and the game on me that really stuck.
Tifa was not so fortunate... before I ever even encountered her I heard screams from my brother what a horrible character she was. And Tifa did nothing to change my opinion until after the full introduction of Aeris.

Cloud was named Bowie in honor of my currant favorite RPG Shining Force II.
Tifa, sadly, the poor girl want through my first game as Slut.

Are we talking Cloud and Tifa the individuals or Cloud and Tifa the Cloti? If we're talking Cloti it can't be done because the entire concept of the FFVII pairings is subjective in itself. If we're talking the individuals... read the manual.

I take it this is romantic. I don't think Cloud and Tifa are a good match because I think if they were to get romantically involved they would feel nothing but heartache. But, I do enjoy the idealism behind Cloud and Tifa of two people supporting each other emotionally.

I see Cloud filling his day with as much work as possible, and Tifa turning into quite the Suzy-homemaker where she feels she watch over the kids and Cloud closest.

Honest and devoted to her friends... but not to herself.

Even without the concept of Aeris, I would have to say no simply to how unrealistic that statement is. In game present time Cloud is 21. The promise was made 7 years pre-game; which is two years before the tragedy. Also, Tifa points out that she and Cloud were never in contact during these years. The statistics of it are too against this concept.
1. The average teenage boy from the ages of 14-16 is involved in, on avaerage, six "involved" relationships. This average is raised to eight when the teenager has one or more social friends. *coughZACKcough*
2. 2 in 3 military men whom claim involvement also admit to adultery during deployment. 3 in 5 uninvolved military men admit to the keeping of multiple "partners"... or in the new american term I learned f*ck buddies.
As sweet and romantic of a concept it may be for Cloud to love Tifa and only Tifa... it's simply not realistic. However, for the record, this does NOT lessen the possiblity of Cloti.

More than likely the same way he did when Aeris died.

Well, Cloud is basically the player... so Cloud views Tifa as the player does. Or was this question supposed to be 'How do you as Cloud view Tifa?' cause I think you'd get more honest answers.

Aeris. The simple fact that there's potentially another character pairing that has never been official disproven puts fans on the defensive and sparks controversy in which the fans thrive on. It works the same way with Cleris.
