((Barracks. your egg is in the wyreling barracks. no wyreling has their own wyre yet, not even i do))
T'this looked at Henna
"i got it, you go help the others"
Henna nodded and dashed off. While Niko sat with the egg in her lap T'thia worked on the injured wrist before tending to the cuts. she slowley moved the wrist slightly
"well, i think you fractured it, but nothing a little numbweed and a good brace won't heal"
she slathered the numbweed over her wrist and then bandaged it to set the tendons in place. she then cleaned up the cuts and rubbed a light layer of numbweed on the more severe ones
"there, hope your flitling doesn't make me have to reatach any fingers"
she chuckled and looked around. most of the injured seamed to be getting the help needed and those who could seamed to be helping. T'thia took this time to mentally check herself for injuries. she felt no pain except the headach caused by the taxing ordeal and the exhoustion from going between so many times and then running to all corners of the wyre helping in any way she could

"Good, I was afraid it was broken or something..." She laughs. "I hope I don't lose any fingers, too! I wouldn't be able to play guitar anymore, if I did." She grins, but then looks down as the egg starts shaking in her lap. Gyo' starts to hum a little, not too loud, but still he does, as the egg shakes more, little cracks coursing through the surface. Abrubtly, the egg splits in two, and the two halves fall to the sides, revealing a little bronze flit, glistening in the light as he creels piteously for food. Niko quickly grabs a handful of meat, and hands it by pieces to the flit, murmering softly to him. Gyo's peers down at his little cousin, making little crooning sounds to calm the baby as he squirms around in Niko's lap.

Famyroth approached the group, bugling loudly. Pushing his way between T'thia and the healer, his swirling eyes gazed into R'nek's. "I'm... I'm all right... Roth. Really."

Reymenek Famyroth approached the group, bugling loudly. Pushing his way between T'thia and the healer, his swirling eyes gazed into R'nek's. "I'm... I'm all right... Roth. Really." Niko looks up at R'nek, reaching a hand out to him, her eyes filled with worry, and still a little bit of fear. "A-are you sure...? That looks really nasty, painful, I mean, though I-I'm sure the numbweed helps." She croons softly to the lizard. The baby lifts his head up, blinking at Niko is wonder while creeling for more food. He flips his wings, spreading them out over the sides of Niko's legs, his tail twitching behind him and snaking around in the dust. Gyo' nearly grins at the little flit. Cute one, isn't he? What d'you plan on naming him, love?I-I don't know, yet...

Treyla "Lets see if we can group people together... See who's wounded and help ne?" She forces a smile despite how batterd and bruised she felt. "I hope Ath settles down..." she looks up at the sky in worry trying to spot her little blue. Her wounds on her shoulder were slowly oozing blood and cloting. The scratches on her arm forgotten for now with the helping of others formost in her mind. So with her body forgotten she went around, the ground still shaking, and tried helping anyone else who might be wounded or worse. Drakiana nodded in agreement. She called Rumor to her, since he seemed to be calming down a little. She sent him off, looking for others who might be wounded or hurt in any way.

Treyla Treyla had lost more blood than she thought. Her shoulders were now plastered with blood, the wounds on her shoulders clotting to try and prevent more loss of blood. She felt light headed and within a few more steps, trying to help someone who was lieing their on the ground, the ground shook and she fell once more. Only she didn't get up and she lapsed into unconciousness. Ath felt a twang deep inside himself and he stoped sqwaking and screeching. He looked down suddenly and saw that Treyla had fallen and had not gotten up. He tucked his wings tight against himself and plumeted towards the ground, pulling up to slow himself down and landing with a thud right next to Treyla.
He nudged her gently and the smell of her blood was overwhelming. He started to croon loudly and sadly trying to wake his owner. She still did not move and again he tried nudging her. No movement.
He yelped and sqwaked, trying to call attention to himself and Treyla. His nerves all flustered and his only purpose now was to help her. Again he let out a pittiful mourning croon. As Tikal made her way through the crowd towards the weyrwoman she heard a pitiful croon nearby. She turned to the source of the sound and saw a girl on the ground. Shards! she cursed mentally as she rushed over and knelt besides her. As she propped her up, Tikal felt her anger swell. Everyone else seemed to be ignoring the bleeding girl. She called Lapis to her and sent him to fetch water and bandages. Meanwhile, she tried to soothe the little blue. Once her flit returned, she quickly began stemming the flow of blood and washing away the dirt from her cuts. Tikal realized she needed a healer fast. Lapis, bring a healer. She gave him a picture of someone in healer garbs. With a chirrup, he disappeared. As she waited, Tikal realized there were at least two others collapsed nearby. What was wrong with these people? They were running around like wherries with their heads cut off. She saw cook run by and jump over the fallen. "Hey you there! Stop!" she called out to him, "Come help me here!" Her talk with Ray would have to wait, this was much more important. "Check if they're still breathing," she ordered. But the frantic cook merely stared at them. "CHECK MAN! CHECK! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!" Bombarded by Tikal's yelling the man reacted and knelt down. "Y-y-yes they're st-still alive." "Good, now, are they bleeding?" "I don't..." Tikal's glare silenced the stammer and he gently turned them face up to check. Looking around the chaos for more wounded Tikal sighed. THIS is going to be a long day...

The Brown flitt flew ahead, and Drakiana hurried along behind him. She gasped, though, when she saw who Rumor had found. "Treyla!" she yelled. (I can't remember if she told Drakiana her name) She knelt down beside her, looking at the blood. She looked around. "Hey! Someone! I need help!" she called out.

((ROFL, go Tikal!))
R'nek nodded, his head starting to clear as the pain began to subside. "Yes, I'm... ow." He reached up with his good hand and felt the back of his head. Yes, there was a tender spot there... "Oooh... must have hit my head... did I fall over or something? I can't quite remember. We were in the loom room, then... shards, what happened?" He looks around, noticing for the first time that there seemed to be many more injured people, more healers than he remembered the Weyr having, and enough flits to make fifty score fairs. "Whoa. What DID happen?"

Bone peeked out from beneath the skin and cook looked like he was about to faint. "Hi, my name's Tikal, and there are plenty of people hurt. The healers are on their way, I'm just making sure they don't bleed or get trampled to death." Turning to the cook Tikal smiled wryly, "Oh c'mon, it's not that bad. I've seen you gut wherries with more gore than this."

I think you got hit too many times in the head with a rock."

"Judging by the rapidly growing flit-egg on my head, I'd say yeah, I was hit a few times..." He shook his head, then winced. "Ow... okay, that was stupid..."
Famyroth plunked himself down in front of R'nek, stretching out his head to rest on his rider's lap.

Gyo' chortles, and lumbers closer to Niko, laying down behind her so that she can rest her back agaisnt his stomach, curling his head to lay it down next to her. The tiny bronze flit creels loudly, clambering with it's claws up Niko's shirt, trying to perch and balance on her shoulder, instead simply sitting there and leaning agaisnt Gyo's bulk behind him. Niko giggles, and strokes one of the hatchlings eyeridges, humming softly.

R'nek scratches Roth's eye ridges, sighing. "Earthquake, huh? And no one expected it to happen?" He started to shake his head again, but stopped, the increased throbbing resulting from the last time reminding him NOT to do that.
He paused, looking around at the chaos. "Is anyone in charge here? Where's the Weyrwoman, or the Weyrleader, or even the rider of the bronze that flew Wrath?"

I havn't seen the brown rider, though that could be 'cause I don't know what he looks like..." She shrugs, and pulls the flit back into her lap, scratching his eyeridge while he closes his eyes in content, his tail hanging over her arm as he snoozes.

He sighs, nodding - very, very slowly, so as not to jar his brain even more, it was in enough pain as it was. "They'd better get on it soon. People will just get more panicked... though the quake and aftershocks themselves seem to be over."
