I would be the happiest man if you were the mother of my children." He whispered, smiling as he pulled her in and held her close.
He wasn't going to let go of her permission, but he wanted her to know he wasn't trying to force her into having the kids.

Not really processing that she was naked and pressed against his own flesh, he just stared down into those greatly loved green eyes. It was hard not to be honest when looking so deep into them.
"I'd be probably the happiest man alive." He admitted, knowing it would not be the answer she wanted to hear, but knew he'd say it.

"Mind me asking what changed your mind?" This he already felt that he knew. Inside he guessed it was fear of her children becoming what he hated.. becoming those who had abused her.
His long wings relaxing more, his body shifted t o actually lean against the wall in an unstable manner with his human legs, watching his soaked and.. all be it un-noticeable nude love in the mood he was in. She could be naked with a pig tattoo on her chest and he wouldn't have even given it the glance because he felt so somber inside.

I wouldn't talk to anyone for fear of betrayl so I wouldn't fall in love. If I fell in love I'd just end up letting my gaurd down. And I wasn't going to have children with someone I didn't love. And...and I don't know, maybe the feelings just died after denying them for so long, who can tell...

"I love you dammit. There's nothing in this world I want more then you and would never change it for anything. You're my heaven and my life, and with you... I want to make a new life for us both... where we can forget everything and focus on our future... our children." His words more warming and soothing as he leaned his head down to lightly press his forehead against her's, golden eyes bright and staring deeply into her own.
"Marry me Solstice... start this life over with me..."

Her reaction made a blush appear. He did know how she loved him and knew she would either hit him and call him dumb or be shocked.
Shifting down, his body slipping below her to kneel down. Large wings folding limply back while his bright golden eyes locked up to the dragoness with complete love and warmth.
"Solstice... I love you with all my being... every ounce of me... Will you be my wife and spend your life creating a new beside me?" He asked a bit more nervous this time.
He was planning this, but didn't think this was how it'd happen.
"I don't have the right to slip onto your finger, but love needs no material items to prove it.. so I ask you in complete whim... something I've wanted for the longest time now.... Be my wife?"
The complete innocence and sweet nervousness showed nearly in tears as he kept a hopeful gaze up at her with a slightly cheesy grin in hopes of a 'yes'

Joy over flowed his heart, causing tears to rise and his heart to race almost dangerously high. Lifting himself quickly, he wrapped his arms around her tightly and held her close.
"Oh thank you Solstice... you have no idea how happy you've made me my love." He whispered with a big smile over his lips. Possibly the most he'd ever smiled in his life.
Pulling back a bit, he looked at the dragoness and bit his lower lip.
"You really mean this?"

But maybe...just maybe...there was a chance to start over again. Maybe she could even be happy again.
