"We have so got to finish up this virus mess." Caneton descended down into the basement of the Piffle Princess building again, determined to get further into the labyrinth created by the computer virus. They'd been able to unlock certain parts of it with their work, but they were far from done yet.

"C'mon Wizard, let's get cracking!" Caneton put on the Deus control headset and sat down in one of the chairs around the VR Layer. With a flick of his writs, he sent Wizard flipping into the VR world.

Wizard landed lightly looking around himself. Not much had changed in the Entry room.
"Hey, weren't we working on the door for #12"

"Yeah, it has been!"
Wizard gives Blanche a hug.
"Hey, where did Mao and T. Joe go? I thought they were coming in here with us?"

Wizard leads Blanche back over to the gate that they were working on...
"So we were trying to figure out this puzzle... you had said that you might have figured it out. Do you still remember?"

The word lights up and the gate automatically unlocks and slides open. From deep inside a strange snarling sound can be heard, and it's getting closer.
Also, over their shoulder, across the huge room, something else seems to slide open....

"Um, that doesn't sound good!!!"
Wizard drops into a defensive stance.

From within the darkness of the digital room beyond burst out a Watchdog, snarling and trying to protect it's territory.

It leapt at the two Angels....

I Rolled a 4, so the Watchdog attacks Wizard.

The watchdog leapt at Wizard, biting for his face.

Wizard didn't want to duck, knowing that Blanche was behind him and would get hit in the back of the head, so he threw his arms up in defense, trying to use his bracers to deflect the attack.

Watchdog:
I rolled a 3, so no Crit
Dog does 27+26 for 53 dam.
Wizard defends for 41+32, for 73, no damage taken, LIFE = 750

The watchdog is knocked to the side, his attack deflected.

"Ladies first."

Blanche:
I rolled a 2, no Crit
The watchdog tries to leap backwards out of reach of her punches.
I rolled, 1,2,3, so no dodge.
Blanche does 24+29 for 53 dam
Minus Nat. Defense of 7, it takes 46 dam, LIFE = 104

Wizard steps in from the side, kicking at the dogs jaw, for trying to bite him.
I rolled a 1, no Crit
The dog is still trying to leap around to avoid the attacks, now on the defensive, instead of the offensive for his turf. As it's head cracks backward, the dog yelps in pain.
I rolled 2,3,4 no dodge
Wizard does 25+32 for 57 dam.
Minus Nat. Def. of 7, taking 50, LIFE = 54

The dog is tired of getting smacked on, and snaps out, trying to bite the mage.
I rolled a 5, no Crit
Wizard flips over the watchdog, going from one side to the other, trying to avoid the attack by not being there.
I rolled 4,4,6, so he dodges the attack.

From the other side of the Entry Hall, a howl can be heard, in response to the dogs yelps of pain.
