"I'm going to give you your last chance to tell me where she is. After that, I shall resort to finding someone else who knows where she is, and instead playing with you." Baranar nodded his head, Feather growing in size as he hopped down, grinning as it stared down at her.

Talia stepped into the alley and saw the three. She recognized Hendricks from the street outside Erica's apartment. "There she is, Larry. She took the Book Lady. Larry says the Book Lady is her sister. She wants to eat her..." With that, Talia pulled Soul Stealer from its wrappings and stalked toward Hendricks, unmindful of the other two.

Baranar Eulalia Danae Hendricks grinned back, sanity gone from her eyes. "Given to the six, like all the others. Go ask Lazarus, maybe he'll tell you how she died." "And the six would be where?" Baranar asked calmly, stepping back. He tapped her mind slightly, frowning. "She's mad." He murmered grumpily. If Baranar looked closer through her mind, he would see that the madness reaction was specifically placed, a trap that was planted in case of an interrogation on a certain subject. It was probably cause by a combination of strong emotion and possibly a trigger word. Ora glanced at Talia who was approaching the woman with a sword raised. "The transiant is back," She spoke to Baranar, still watching Talia, "it seems she is posessed by the sword, or some type."

Talia lowered the tip of the sword to Hendrick's belly, but did not thrust yet. Instead she shook the threadbare teddy bear in the woman's face. "This is Loreez!" she shouted, "We have to give it to her! Give us the Book Lady!"

Baranar sighed. There was little more to be learned from her. Perhaps with a more experienced mind reader, they could manage to gether the knowledge needed, but not without. Baranar turned, facing the woman with the sword, who chose then to get in between him and his hostage.
Baranar spun around, swinging his boot at the side of Talia's head.

((of course, and I hope baranar jumped first, otherwise I don't know if his boot would actually reach her head heh heh heh.))
Ora glanced at the teddy bear the transiant was swinging, and then down at her own, pleased to note that hers was much cuter.
Hendricks was already too far gone to answer the woman.

'Let me talk to him,' Larrisa told Talia. She spoke in a clearer voice than the poor transient used, "No magic, just a keen sense of smell. It carried over from when I was alive. Let's see...I can smell Erica's perfume and gas fumes from the van they used...there's something else, I can't quite place it..."

"It would be welcomed if you were able to tell as where she is from the scent on this woman." Baranar said shortly, unsure as to whether it would work or not.
He also figured that ED would prolly have to decide whether this will work, and if so, provide it for the sword.
