Im having a hard time deciding which way I should go with my armies. I dont have much money and my two fav. Groups are the Iron warriors and the emperors children (Slaanesh). I really like the option of extra heavy vehicles and the xtra tanks and stuff but they always get squished in close combat but that may just be my play groups stratagey. I really like the Sound weapons of Slaanesh and His demons would be a really big boost during a fight( YAY demonettes!) Some body help me choose.

EC tend to have a larger force than IW. A fully outfitted Sonic force can be costly, but you can always covert the weapons, or use instruments from WH fantasy. As long as the army is consistant, most folks won't complain. Don't try to buy everything at once, just buy what you can afford when you can afford it. Paint what you have, then buy something else. http://emperorschildren.net/index.php may have some info that could help.

Iron warriors are not neccessaraily bad in combat, it just depends on how you equip them. Its true that they lack some specalist close combat troops, ie deamons. but in my opinion, more obliterators, a vindicator and a basilisk more than make up for this.

Iron warriors aren't to bad in CC, you just have to give your troops the right stuff and be careful what you assault. Bolt pistol and CC weapon with furious charge are the ussual. use a power weapon for the champ with deamonic str and mut and possibly a inv sv. anything more will be a waste. A raptor squad is also a great assault unit for IW. Just have to watch your points and becareful what you assault.

I play nurgle, a total death guard army, and i really love em cause im good at painting them and i like to paint them, I should be buying a defiler on saturday but knowing my luck they'll be sold out when i get there Grr the evil ness of my luck. aalso it has mutated hull so im going to make the whole thing covered in pustules and slime it'll be so much fun and about half an inch thicker oce im done rofl

Get a picture of it when it's done eh? I'm curious as to how this is gonna' turn out.

I'm thinking of doing Khornate Lost and the Damned after I finish my space marine army (blasphemy, i know). anyone here able to offer suggestions for this? (please, no "heres a suggestion, don't play lost and the damned")
also those nurgle plauge marines sound cool. i'd also like to see pictures of that.

When you finish your SM army, Make some fluff, and convert the entire thing into a Chaos army, by adding spikes and rust, and scarring etc. It'd look really awesome, and it would cost you anything!
