Lt_Brookman Sure a marine can survive twenty impacts, but that just isn't as cool as having three or four Catachan Jungle fighters slaughter an entire Dark Eldar army or a handful of storm troopers going 'Dirty Dozen' on a Tau army. They already do. Its called the Last Chancers. Daaang. Looks like the standard Commander isn't just toast anymore, he's french fried xp

I don't know wheter it was or was not discussed in this thread but it still bothers me. What would you consider an efective combo when it comes to chapter traits?
I thought about using 'Take the fight to them' and 'No mercy, no respite' for a close combat oriented space marine army, but I don't know if it will do well. Maybe somebody checked it already and can share her/his experience?
I have also considered 'Cleanse and purify' for drop podding army but have no idea what would I take for my second trait. Any suggestions?

I take "heed the wisdom of the ancients" "eye to eye" "purification above all" and "death before dishonour" as my traits and disadvantages. My marines are commie, so it fits well.

I play Space Marines more specifically Dark Angels they rule, they look so cool with there robes

Don't feel bad if you don't know it yet, we're a different TYPE of 40ker to the "average gamer"

You don't have to do anything spectacular on it... Just your army badge and some writing will do. Or, if you've got shaky hands and can't do that... patterns and squiggles and stuffs. Just so it looks like it's something to do with that army, no one will care. 3nodding

Just so it looks like it's something to do with that army, no one will care. 3nodding I wanted to do a picture of an Angel to fit my Arch Angels, but it didn't work, so I tried doing the Chaper symbol, a wing, but I didn't like it... so I just left it purple... My Marines are Purple with green trim. whee Your Commie Marines look very good and interesting. Let me guess, they have Russian accents? xd
