Aurora chewed on her meat thoughtfull as she watched everybody. She leg felt sore, but she begn to feel some itching. "Good" she thought. In her present situation, being injuried didn't seem like something that coudl be dragged out.

"I know... but part of me is now rabbit..." Enid said , sighing. Glaived sighed and grabbed her hand and Enid manages to pull him up. "Ow... do you all know where any medicines are?" Glaived asks as he rubs a large purple-blue bruise on his forehead.

"Yes, a moment," said Isaran, wandering off and getting a stool. He dragged it over to a spot, and pulled himself up to a completely out-of-reach cabinet, pulling out some pain medicines and setting them down on the counter. "Perhaps that isn't the best place to keep these anyway," he said while taking all of them out. He set one in particular aside and said over his shoulder to Enid, "That one with some water for his head."

Azriel stays near Jade but stays quiet for a moment, then looks of to Isaran but speaks to everyone "Does anyone know of a better place we could use for a "home base" so to speak?"

Voila shrugged. "I don't know that many places around the city. Well... other than the market, but that's because I had a job there. I don't know any place better than here."

((sorry for delayed posting :XP: if you guys hadn't seen my post on the main page my laptop died so it's away being fixed @_@ So don't really have a computer of my own at the moment.))
Jade leaned against Azriel as he sat by her. She loved being near him cause his fur was so soft and she felt safest when she was with him. She was still hungry but wasn't going to say anything till the others had eaten since something told her they needed it more than she did right at the moment. So she decided to be patient and just sit there so she didn't interrupt.

Azriel starts to lick his front paws and groom himself in the usual manner of a cat. After a couple of passes the furr on his forepaws and head was smoothed out. He paused and looked at his work then starts to chuckle a little at himself feeling a little silly.

Glaived took a pill and felt better... but he now felt sleepy so he headed for the sofa and crashed there.

"This place will do for repose as long as their fear holds," said Isaran. "After that, we have to try to find a way out of town. That reminds me, I should test something..."
He paused a moment, turning around while still balanced perfectly on the stool, and spoke in a human language (rather than the "attained" animal one he'd been using until now and naturally knew since the incident) "Who can understand me?"
"Er, what?" said Raerin, hearing something like speech but not comprehending.
((Characters who are still "humanoid", like Isaran is, should understand it; characters who are fully animal, like Raerin, shouldn't.))

Jade smiled cheerfully as she understood what Isaran said., "I can!" she exclaimed not even noticing as she copies him speaking in the human language.

Glaived said "I comprehended your words."

"It's about what I hypothesized," he said, back in the usual language. "Those who are still humanoid, just around halfway animal in body, can still understand the language learned at birth. All, including those who are fully animal in body, can of course understand the surrogate 'animal' language. Thus, it's perfectly logical that those who weren't affected by this at all wouldn't be able to understand what I am now speaking. In other words, once we leave this city, those who couldn't understand me just now probably won't be able to get by much without a translator."
