Hello! I took Japanese 1 two summers ago and taking it again (since I forgot like half of it gonk ) in high school. This guild is really helpful and I hope to learn Japanese faster by being apart of this guild. This guild's awsome! biggrin

I'm looking foward to learn japanese because I really like their country and language. I can't go to a japanese course yet so I started to learn it by myself, but I'm a begginer still.
Let's have a nice time. Feel free to correct me, if you wish so, both in english and japanese (my native language is portuguese). It would be very helpful.

Hello everyone! I'm Roy, but you can call me whatever you like! ^^
I like it here. I hope to learn a lot from the people here.
I just started learning Japanese a little while ago. I guess it's going good, but I could do better with help. Right now I'm trying to teach myself, so it's kinda hard. I was hoping to find some who would help me with it. (hint hint) But if not, I guess I'll have to continue by myself. ;_; Anyway, I decided to start learning Japanese for a few reasons:
-I have had a love for the Japanese language ever since I was a child
-I want to visit Japan one day
-I would like to understand the lyrics to some of my favorite songs
-Like most children, I wanted a language that some people wouldn't understand when out in public
-And I wanted some friends that understand the same language
So that's some of the reasons why I want to learn Japanese.

Hello, my name is Iona. I know very little Japanese and would like to learn more. I'm looking for someone to help me or teach me Japanese. I can read romaji and sound out words, so I'm currently trying to learn words and their meanings. I have AIM for anyone who wishs to help me. I like anime and have a couple manga books. I recently started learning Japanese. I know how to read Kana, slowly, but of course don't understand what they spell out yet!
One reason I want to learn Jap is to play Japanese game that were never made into the States.

(hajimemashite! / hello / nice to meet you)
i'm new to this guild (obviously), but i'm also new to gaia. i hope to meet people who are as passionate about learning japanese as i am! ^^
iceymoon てす、 (iceymoon desu / i am iceymoon) ２１さいです (nijuu issai desu / i'm 21 years old)。２００３年に (nisen san nen ni / in 2003)、日本語１と２をべんきょうしましたけど (nihongo 1 & 2 wo benkyou shimashita kedo / i studied japanese 1 & 2 but)、わすれましたから (wasuremashita kara / because i forgot it) 今年も日本語１と２をべんきょうしました (kotoshi mo nihongo 1 & 2 wo benkyoushimashita / i also studied japanese 1 & 2 this year)。
i'm not sure if that's the proper use for the verb "wasureru" though. o.o like forgetting what you learned instead of just forgetting to do something. anyway.
i love japanese and i plan to study it full-time at a university soon. so let's all practice together, ね？よろしくおねがいします！(ne? yoroshiku onegai shimasu! / okay? please be good to me!)
