So i can only learn techniques from my village of origin?

You can learn from any village except for The Akatsuki,(Unless you become a member.) The Ghost Elites(Unless you become a member.), or the Aliance(Unless you become a member.)

We are no longer doing Currency so it is not nessicary.

Have you made a profile?

And if you wish to learn a technique from another village, do i have to be in that village?

Oh and if it says "(Clan technique)" Right next to it that means you cannot learn it unless you are from the clan.

You just have to take the docks there.

*Looks at post* No you can learn any technique from any village unless it is a clan technique or if is like an orginzation technique.

Okay, this is a bit confusing. Can Nemu be in two places at once?
(She was asleep in Nano, Jashu called the squad together, and to save time I just immediately did a dock post back to leaf. We are still in the middle of fixing Nyu's destruction there, but since I'm here now and seemingly noone else is, can I just resume my training in Nano?)

Last question answered, now a new question.

Can I get a deeper understanding of the role of genjutsu within the guild? I know that Genjutsu only works on those weaker than you, and I can understand that. If my opponent is stronger than me, I can see them shaking off my weak attempt to trick them.
But, from that same standpoint, isn't Genjutsu useless aside from a stylization of the strongest? If you're the strongest, you don't even need Genjutsu, you can just pound the tar out of anyone. I always thought of Genjutsu as the sort of thing the weakling would use to save their skin from getting the tar pounded out of it.
(Kurenai, for instance. She's probably one of the weaker Jounin, but Genjutsu is her specialty.)
I'd understand if nothing comes of me asking this, I was just wondering about it.

yes, genjutsu is somewhat overlooked and pointless due to such strong ninjutsu and taijutsu. and the genjutsu release skill make it somewhat worthless to learn

Quix, I think we should make a Genjutsu Specialist class for those wishing to pursue the highest levels of Genjutsu.

but like the flute genjutsu, that restrics your movement, couldnt that prevent you from makeing the release seals?

I wanted to learn all genjutsu, so I kinda went on a little rage with it, but then I thought not because a lot of people were dtronger than me.
