Draco's heart was thudding in his chest as he stared down at her, a small smile spreading across his lips at the teasing. He lightly rested his forehead on her own, letting his eyes slide shut. "How could they not?" he murmured softly, one of his arms slipping around her and falling gently around her waist. He had planned to draw this out somewhat, to declare undying affection, to ask if they could go on a walk or something. The only thing that he wanted to do, however, was to kiss her. And now he was planning on doing just that. Eyes opening once again, he leaned his head back slightly and lightly gripped her chin between the thumb and forefinger of his free hand. Giving her one last stare into those beautiful eyes, he closed his own and tilted his head to the right, drawing down to kiss her.

Skalis cired out as the feeling of his enyite head spitting open reached him. "AaaHHg!" He felt his presence slipping away and a new one taking hold. "Ahhrg! Noo! NO! D-DASSAN!" He yelled as a red aura sorrounded his child body and he began to change. He wriethed in pain as his features became twisted and curel. His tail morphed into a Black dragon head and forelegs. He began to hover as an extra set of wings grew under his. In a minute it was nolonger Skalis that hovered over the fields. The being landed with no sound in front of Draco and Alex.
He grinned and sniffed tha air. His hieght was greater then thiers so he looked down to them and snickered. "Hello Draco..." He said in a voice that sounded of pure evil. He held out his hand and a large blood stained sythe appeared. He twirled it around and then slung it over his sholder as he leered at The two drakes before him.

Draco suddenly broke away from Alexandra, eyes growing wide as he whipped his head around to stare at the direction of yelling. What he saw caused his heart to thud painfully, almost as if it was going to break his ribcage. ...Oh Goddess. he thought to himself, staring up at the giant drake. Skalis...he's been released? He blinked once, moving quickly to stand in front of Alex in a protective manner. With one swift movement, his right hand was in front of him, with a ball of crackling shadow energy in his palm. Somehow he knew that it wouldn't protect him and Alex for an instant. "...Good evening, Skalis." he said softly. "Or do you have another name now?"
((Yeah, we were waiting for that. -chuckles-))

Alex stared up at Skalis in utter horror. She found Draco in front of her, he seemed almost . . . protective. She banished all flirtatious thoughts from her mind. She looked up at the moon and uttered a little prayer that Celeste had taught her; her daughter would now alert every Drake in their family that Skalis' seal had broken. They would be ready at a moment's notice. All Alex could hope for now is that Harry would inform Adele and two large Drake families would be ready for a battle if it should come to that. Her entire body shook slightly as she waited to see what would happen . . .
How Draco could seem so calm was amazing to her . . . he really was amazing. Still . . . she didn't want him to be the only one fighting . . . what about those illusions he had taught her?
A large silver dragon suddenly trumpeted in the sky, flying majestically and showing off it's brute size and strength. It was perfectly formed, as critiqued by Draco. She didn't honestly expect it to work, but . . . it was worth a shot.

The drake looked at Draco and his eyes flashed red. "I shall grace you with my name for you will not live long ehough to speak it. I am Dassan, the death dragon." Said Dassan. His tail hissed and grinned. "This is indeed a good evening. I've been stuck inside a worthless drake child for many years and not only am I finally free but that pefetis welp has givin me a higher form in which to kill you all!" He raised his sythe in a threat and awaited Draco's reaction, wanting to see the fear in his eyes before death. Suddenly He spotted the silver dragon and a look od annoyance crossed his face. He leered at Alxe and snapped his fingers causing the dragon to dissappear. "Child's play..."

Alex couldn't take this. It wasn't in her nature to be bossed around. She practically pushed Draco aside.
So what, you're just going to kill all of us? she asked, knowing that her entire family, with easily four more adults, was nearby. The last thing she was going to allow was for her daughter to be killed by something that didn't even belong in this realm. Her hand rested on her hip defiantly, ready to die if that was the case.

Dassan looked down Alex and his laugh rang through the fields like a banshee shriek. "My poor little half-breed, that's what I was created for. But take comfort in the thought that your death will be postponed until I finish with Draco. Now be a dear and get out of my way!" Hissed Dassan as he used the dull side of his sythe to sling Alexandra ten feet away before turning to Draco. "Time to finish what we started..."

A small scream is heard from some distance away and one body breaks away from a group of more than six and runs towards the fallen form of Alex. The young girl collapses next to her mother, not paying any mind to the hideous form before them, not even noticing Draco at all.
Mommy . . . mommy . . . please be okay she pleads, shaking Alex softly.
Alex stirred slowly at first, then rapidly came awake as she realized that her daughter was a mere ten feet from Dassan. She quickly finds her way to her feet, rubbing her sore ribs with super-human strength, the strength of a mother when fighting for her children; he would not hurt her daughter, nor Draco either, if she could help it. She pushes Celeste behind her roughly and turns to face Dassan.

Draco's eyes flickered from the scythe to Alexandra, pain filling his eyes when she was flung to the side. Not knowing what else to do and wanting for her to get to safety, he formed the tiniest dragon possible in the palm of his hand and whispered a few words to it. The dragon fluttered back towards Alexandra as Draco lifted his chin and glared angrily at Dassan. "And what did we start, hmm?"
The dragon landed on Alexandra's shoulder and released Draco's whispered message into her ear. "The library. Wait for me."
((Can I suggest a post order? xD Three of my posts have had to be scraped because you guys are moving so quickly.))

Alex heard the dragon, but couldn't understand why he'd want to fight alone. No offense to him, but . . . he couldn't do anything against the death dragon . . . Alex pushed Celeste back towards the rest of her family and took maybe three steps towards them before turning back to look at Draco. She couldn't possibly desert him now . . . what if . . . what if the death dragon were to . . . . she couldn't even complete the thought.

Dassan watched Alex get up and snickered. "That's very brave of you half-breed.. But unless you want my full strenght in your gut I suggest you lay back down.." He hissed and turned back to Draco. "I was about to kill you after beating your sad exucse for a body across these fields. I'm going to finish my work and move on to your family, stating with your little girlfriend Alexandra." he said ad Alex's name seemed disfigured in the air coming from the mouth of Dassan.

Alex froze, her eyes spinning over to Dassan. Maybe she could try another tactic . . .
She tucked her hair behind her ears and stood completely straight which, coincidentally, made her bust line seem bigger. She added a slight sway to her hips and approached him fearlessly.
Fine . . . give it to me. I have no problem being a half breed; I'm actually quite proud to be one of the first. Of course, why you have to kill people to enjoy yourself, I'm not quite sure; eventually, you'll run out of people to kill; then what happens to you, full blood, what'll happen to you when you loose your purpose? she asked, eyes full of fire and venom, not caring what a single person around her thought at the moment. She felt bad for disobeying Draco's words but . . . she had never been to the library to begin with and only knew that it was somewhere in the Darsuin mountains.
