Vague Catspaw Vague Catspaw So, Vague, why exactly is there an odd space in the name of the guild? When I use seperating marks like parentheses or brackets, I treat the enclosed word/phrase as seperate from the sentence. I punctuate and space in such a way that you could remove the entire bracketed portion and still have a properly phrased and punctuated sentence( or title). I also put terminal punctuation on the outside of quotation marks, despite the American practice of putting it inside. I always thought putting the punctuation on the outside was normal. Only in Britain. Here, you're supposed to put it inside the "quotation marks." Seriosly? I really thought punctuation on the outside was the way to go unless . I guess that's why I'm not an english major anymore.

Sorry I've been so MIA lately. As my siggy says: college. It's a blast, though. I'm on the official Gay Hall in my dorm! I went out to Northampton today and bought some rainbow gear (blanket, throw pillows, mini paper lanterns) for our lounge.
Also, I am out of the loop. Is JoVo back? He seems...back. Um, if you are back, JoVo...yay! *glomps*

I'll be around the Gay Guild, but I think I'm staying out of the ED crowd. It's too... "tainted." It's sad to see how friends go sour when they get their hands on a little power. Maybe I'm just too sensitive to that because of my awareness of my own abuses back in my younger days. Anywho... thanks for the glomps! *glomps back*

But I have to ask, can you and Keith keep a closer eye on the guild for a little while? I'm moving out tomorrow, and my computer finally came back, but promptly broke again in the exact same way. So I will have little-to-no internet access for a week or so. I'll see if I can figure something out so it's not too huge a burden...

Nerg..
I'm at my parent's house - thus the internet - and my week at my new school has been...well. Pretty much what I'd hoped it wouldn't be. The only thing there hasn't been is any direct harassment. XP
Although, yesterday rocked my socks and made up for the rest of the week. A guy ran up to me as I was walking home from school and basically the conversation was like this.
Guy: Hey, I don't mean to be rude-
Me: Just ask.
Guy: Are you, uh, gay?
Me: Yeah. *internal sigh*
Guy: That's awesome!
Me: *Must've looked shocked because he went into a schpiel about not meaning to be rude or anything*
Me: Nonono, it's just...why is it awesome?
Guy: Because there aren't, like, any gay people at our school.
sweatdrop He was straight..I think. Uhm. But yeah, he said "I have gay friends." and after that I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot hopped up on Xanax.
Woo! So, yeah. There's lots more if anyone wants to know about my week. :Sweat:
