You know you should have studied hard or paid more attention but you didn't and now you're stuck looking at an exam with questions you just don't know how to answer. Oh, oh Faranth.... What do you do and how do you fare? Pick a path, then roll! PATH 2 - You don't try to cheat, but this still isn't looking good—what'll you do? 1. You panic and cram as much you can in hopes that you remember a few things. Still, you fail the lesson and are now stuck in remedial classes during your free-time until you pass the exam and the Candidatemaster/Second/Assistant thinks you're knowledgeable. 2. You try to play off sick so you can have a day to study. Roll a dice to see if it's successful or not. Odds are it works! Evens are you get caught and are now in trouble for pretending to be sick and still have to take the test which you wind up failing. Boo. 3. You somehow squeeze by with passing marks. Oh thank Faranth! 4. The test/assignment is miraculously delayed by a day. That gives you at least one more night to study! Phew!

Someone out there is suddenly acknowledging you, and your heart is starting to get a little bit aflutter. Strange. [Note: This doesn't mean they have to return the admiration or feelings. This could be something like a harmless crush or something like meeting a hero!

Grid Name Candidate Character Name: Huarwar Location: Western Weyr Quote: 10. You wind up having assigned chore duty with someone you absolutely despise. You do NOT like this Candidate at all and hate being around them for whatever reason. Unfortunately, you're stuck with them for at least a sevenday during chore rotation. How does the encounter go? Roll a D4 or plot it out with an NPC (or a PC if someone wants to offer their character!) to see how they get along.

You actually find out they're not such a bad guy even if they get on your last nerve. There are a few good qualities about them even if they're hard to find.

You're temporarily grounded until the wingsail heals, which could take anywhere from 3 sevendays to 3 months. This means no flying until you're given clearance from the dragonhealers. Tough luck, but at least the damage isn't permanent. We hope.
