He couldn't say he knew the man well enough...he could barely remember his father's and brother's face, but...what he did remember was the analytical and strategic mind of his father. Koji Masahiko Mori More hordes, and more dead demons falling on his feet. He brushed the specks of blood from his cheek with his thumb, before letting his foot fall over the small demon's head. It dissolved into dust, and Koji contorted his face into one of disgust. This place was just as bad as the place where he had come from...and it anger him how deteriorated this world had become in such a short while. Not even the Corruption had destroyed the world in such a short amount of time. Or maybe it had, but to his young self, being protected by the walls of the Palace in Tokyo, with a family that did anything for him and his brother...perhaps it hadn't seemed as much. Ignorance was bliss, after all. Even so... it had been years before he had notice the real wounds the Corruption had left in their world... it was until he was taken to the Wasteland, only his mother as company that he understood.

Koji felt a rush of power through his veins, and for a moment he wasn't entirely sure what was going on. But the Karasu that had been blocking his way was discarded soon enough, leaving him to search again for the place Youmu had pointed out.
