'Aren't you the troll I just fed?" he called, seeing the monster before him. "Ah damn..you're like cats, aren't you? Look, I don't have any more food..but if you go to Ellie's, she'll fix you up, okay?"
A blank stare...and he sighed.

It nodded..and parted ways with him at this, going towards Metatron, and Ellie's. He sighed, before continuing on.

Someone that he'd known in passing..Someone who had helped them..And someone who's name was whispered in passing throughout the school..
"Soji Seta...Yeah?" he called lightly, holding out his hand. "I'm Youmu's...boyfriend in this situation. Nekura Myonmu..Class 3..Senior Year. You..might not know me, but I've heard plenty about you."
Of course...Anyone would know Soji. He was top of the class..and, looking at the boy now..Nekura could see it.
He looked like..the kind of person that excelled in everything he did. Of someone with a natural born leadership to him....And yet..
"I know you said that You and Kisa are the only ones that should take on the challenge...but, just know that Me and Youmu are no slouches either. We can handle just about anything this world throws at us..And, we're strong...Strong enough to assist you."
He held his phone for the boy to see, partly to confirm his sentence..and partly to show off. It wasn't about the demons though..For all of his acquired power...
He could tell the silver haired boy was stronger than him. A stronger will..more experience..And a natural born air to him..Something that just...

Amagai Genji, the Investigation Team's Gentle Fist
"...You see the surface, but my eyes see more..."They were a colorful group; a closer inspection of the Restoration Team revealed that the variety of personalities, origins, and styles was so diverse that they had to be the most well-rounded of the various Factions which had aligned for the Day 7 War. That was in addition to the fact that he could gather from what he observed that they were by far the most numerous faction in this contest between them. Not to mention that among all of the gathered combatants, they had two of...and perhaps the most reliable leader-slash-fighter...that had survived this far in the Apocalypse: Soji Seta, leader of the Investigation Team, and of course, the girl around whom much of the success humanity had achieved had eventually centered, the tattooed warrior Kisa. And between the berry-haired heir himself and his blonde girlfriend, both quite skilled and experienced by now in their own ways after defending their Station for several days (on top of all their experience beforehand), and the returning head of snow-capped hair he could spy coming their way right now after two days' absence, he had plenty of reason to be confident in the potential of their forces in the battle to come.
So why was he so uneasy?
"There is nothing to apologize for," he nodded in understanding to Nix as she apologized, knowing that she must have struggled with her decision quite a bit before she left...something that both he, and Soji as well, had been forced to do on occasion during the last few days, "We were merely concerned when you did not return yesterday. But now that you are here...I feel all the more confident that we shall win." He said the words, but somewhere in his stomach something uneasy still lingered. What secrets, what unpleasant truths, did this day hold for them? Maybe that was what worried him more than the battle against the other factions, but the unknown. He shifted where he stood and glanced at Minori subconsciously. They would do what they could...they would survive. He simply hoped that the cost of doing so could be kept manageable...and not as painful as his imagination might conceive.Quote: 14 Tokens

"Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"One after another the gathered members of the Restoration Faction responded to the suggestions of the silver-haired Senior; Kisa was ready for the brutal fight that no doubt awaited them at the day's end, Youmu was still both nervous and excited for the fight that awaited them, Shun was still his colorful self, earning a shake of the hand from the leader of the Investigation Team and a smile. "No, you can be mine," he quipped in return to the Top Gun reference that held some significant given the situation, remembering something from not-so-very long ago involving a blue-haired android friend of his...and he mused on how similarly unusual two of them were while being completely different at the same time, "But seriously, keep your eyes open out there. I don't want to see you, Youmu, or Nekura getting surprised by an ambush or something and getting yourselves hurt...or worse. If you do, though...I'll come as fast as I can." It was the best he could offer to the trio of friends he had made and come closer to over the course of the last 7 days. But coming from him...you could take his words to the bank. And then not much later, a much more familiar face made her way into the square of the Station and he smiled in a small measure of relief when he saw her face.
"I never doubted you'd be back for a second," he smirked faintly after Genji answered her greeting, showing a little confidence but mostly just letting his face share the relief he felt at knowing that shew as fine, "But we can't relax now. The worst is probably still ahead of us. That's why we need to get moving now, before the rest of the teams have a chance to ambush us. And...the sooner we can finish things with him the more fighting we can avoid with the others." He stepped back after a beat, glancing back at Kisa again, offering a small nod that it was just about time for them to head their separate ways.
Everyone had some idea what they needed to do...and though he felt a bit uneasy as well, there was little else they could do at the moment. Of course they would be uneasy when forced to fight friends...other people who had done nothing wrong except believe something different. But in order to restore the world, to truly end this...they would just have to play along and see things through until then.
It was with that in mind that the Senior nodded towards the others and then, as if drawn by something close by, he excused himself for a moment.
"Could you guys give me a minute before you head out?" he asked suddenly, turning and making his way towards the exit of the Station, pausing when he was just outside eyes focused down the road...so as not to alert anyone inside of the Station to the presence of the man now leaning against the wall to his left, his expression somber, dark hair shadowing his tanned skin, "I don't suppose there's any talking you out of this, is there?" He asked, but he knew the answer. The man knew as well, and didn't bother with a direct response.
"Humanity has no more use for my guidance," the Red Viper spoke somberly, smirking as he glanced side-eye at the silverette, arms crossed over his chest, "You've far outgrown whatever lessons I could teach you, and proven that the potential of mankind is truly limitless. All that is left for you now is to defeat me, if you can. It is not in my nature to pass on my vengeance without a fight. And though I will not begrudge you seeking that which you believe in...I will also not hold back when we meet."
"Yeah, I know," the teen smiled faintly, a little sadly, holding out a fist in the direction of their demon ally in a show of solidarity, "We won't back down, either. We're fighting for the fate of the world...losing isn't an option." The Viper smiled a toothy grin, a little sad as well, but honest in its appreciation for the boy's determination. He held out his fist and bumped it with Soji's, connecting for just a moment...a moment that lasted minutes in the minds of both.
"Indeed. You fight for your most precious people, your precious world. I fight for the memory and the honor of mine. Perhaps we were destined to be enemies..."
"Thank you, Obelyn..."

 Nix Gallen Nix was glad to see that they held no grudge against her sudden disappearance. That lifted a weight off her shoulders but that didn't mean she could fully relax. Like Soji said, the worst was still ahead of them as things were going to grow chaotic. Especially so since she had a 'prize' in her possession, one she didn't ask for. She was about to tell Soji about the candelabrum but he excused himself for a moment, probably needed to tend to something important. So she simply nodded and looked at Genji, smiling a little at him. "I didn't come back right away because I wasn't able to.. After the fight with Jormungandr, my body decided I needed an entire day of rest. I only woke up earlier this morning before coming straight back." Just as soon as he had put that distraction temporarily behind him, however, there was the situation ahead to consider.
