Voscil shook her head at the other yellowblood. "Your not pullin' no one down. You took a hit for me..! You deserve a second to rest." They couldn't stay here forever, all of her flight responses told her they needed to go. If only she was just little bigger...she'd try to carry him. Looking back down the dark tunnel, then back to him. "Can you walk? We have to keep moving we don't want to get caught."She would help him if she could, he might have been bigger but she was pretty sure if they took it slowly they could do this together.
Looking to the greenblood her brows furrowed. "Don't speak if it hurts. But your exactly right!" She frowned with mild dis-concern on her face, not meaning to be blunt but her concern was there. This was so wrong, were they really marched all the way to just terrorize a couple of trolls? Was it worth so many getting hurt? She didn't think so.
Her little body sparked with electricity pulling back some as she grit her teeth in frustration, making sure not to touch anyone so she didn't accidentally hurt them. "We'll be okay if we stick together right? I'll beat up anything that comes near us best I can!" Think positive. Voscil reminded herself that, repeating it like a mantra silently inside her head. The psionic took a deep breath swallowing, trying to pull in her little burst of power fit not wanting to attract attention by a light in the darkness.

As a tealblood came towards them, Ephias tightened his grip on the shears. The others appeared to recognise her however, and glancing back he saw that she was a mirror image of the tealblooded male behind him. Interesting. Ephias gave her a nod, though he remained tense. It was difficult to relax in these circumstances, even among allies.
While Etsali's friends took care of the injured tealblood, Ephias turned his attention back to the battle. Grenades were still flying through the air, and the tunnels were flooded with their fumes. Apparently the military had little regard for whether they struck their own side or not.
“W-we might be able to t-take shelter in one of the s-s-side tunnels,” he suggested, inclining with his head. Not especially in the mood to wait around and chat about it, he plunged into the melee to clear a path for the others.

The long chase was beginning to wear on Alifax's legs. Maybe...maybe he could let a few people pass him by. He stepped to the side as carefully as he could. The caves were, apparently, dangerous. Besides, he'd have reach, what with his meteors being on a chain. He pulled them in and waited for one, two, people to pass him by...
Maybe having a better perspective would help him a little.
Still in hiding, Zindel couldn't help but realize it was time to finally move when the rebel leader threw down a bomb that made the tunnel shake and tremble. He quickly leapt away from the affected area, thankful for his shoes and continuing to run while clutching his daggers fearfully. Hearing a large crack, Zindel looked up, only to see the ceiling hurtling down at him. A hurried, desperate jump out of the way saved the redblood and he ducked behind a rock, covering his ears and curling into a ball. Somehow, he managed to avoid any serious hits save for a scrape in the back of his head. A loud thump crashed down behind him, and as Zindel turned his head, all he saw was grey. Apparently, there was a massive boulder behind him.
He couldn't help but run just a little faster, afterward.
Azrael couldn't concentrate, he'd been clocked on the head by one of the drones that had fallen and ended up right underneath the thing. What was wrong with these drones? They weren't ******** serious wee they? He had more pressing matters to attend to. His head swam and he was still seeing stars. How long had he been out? Where was Eridia????? He searched around for the purpleblood. Some loyal subject he was, getting knocked out. Useless, completely useless! He grit his teeth and began jostling the drone that fell." Wake up, wake up and get a move on. You'll never beat them like this, confound it all!" Azrael shouted trying to pick up the drone and push it to it's feet and off of him.
The young blue blood was able to at least get the drone off of him and help it stagger(?)To its feet before it immediately crumpled. that was when he noticed the drips coming from his coat. This wasn't... His blood, was it? No it was yellow. He felt his head swim. This belonged to the drone that was on top of him. Azrael turned to look at the drone and to his horror saw that the drone hand been stabbed by something and then had both arms ripped out of their sockets. For a moment the young troll couldn't breath. This is not what he came here for, this is not what he wanted.
Etsali glanced down at Cerpin in surprise, eying the cloth and realizing suddenly where he'd just taken it from. It had never occurred to her that purplebloods could be such good kids. "Good thinking!" She flashed him a quick smile as she took one of the rags for herself, and then turned it on Tevini as well as she spoke up. "Both of you. It'll be good to have the extra help, if Anguis thinks he needs it." She raised an eyebrow at Luxara and Anguis questioningly as Scuttle came sliding back up to them, motioning to the lusus so they could figure out that was what the redblood had meant.
"Ah! I haven't seen her, but I did hear her earlier. She answered my shout too, so-" She paused, seeing Ephias reappear from the crowd, and quickly glanced him over to see if he'd been hurt anymore since the last time. None that she could see, and the scarf was still knotted in place, so...Laughing quietly, she patted Wolly as he pushed into the group to nudge at them.
And then Forera was there, and everyone was accounted for. The thief rubbed at her cheek, savored the relief of the realization, and then nodded agreement to Ephias. "He's right, we've gotta keep moving!" That little tiny Keeper voice in her head said they shouldn't have stopped to begin with, but sometimes these things couldn't be helped. Shaking her head, she turned to usher the others to follow the redblood. She'd watch their backs.

Now reunited with eir fr - ally? - no, maybe friend was appropriate now. They'd been allies before, but Abrila had blocked Dictys from taking a blow, and a dangerous one at that. They could be friends now. "You should follow along and help her," ey told the drones, nodding emphatically.
There wasn't much else ey could do, right? Not while Mommydaddy still thought of em as too young to be able to defend emself.
This was incredibly stupid.

A spunky looking girl appeared out of nowhere and started chatting at the guy leaning over Luxara and the group seemed to brighten up considerably though Cerpin wasn't really sure why. But he could see the matching symbols and made a note not to interrupt whatever kind of reunion this was until they were finished. Jealousy coursed through him for a moment. He had no one that would particularly care if he'd been lost here. He had enough sense to know that was not any business or fault of their's though.
Something soft brushed his hand and he allowed his heart to calm. He couldn't help but return Wolly's good feelings with a smile.
"Yeah, it's all we can do at this point!" Another troll had joined the party with hair that looked so fluffy and huge, Cerpin wondered if it was a wig or something. Ephias grunted that they ought to keep moving and the young purpleblood nodded in agreement. He definitely wanted out of here and fast! Blossmom continued to peck and slam drones from getting through to them but they were still going to move slowly with all the chaos. Not to mention, the other problem of where to go exactly. How long did it take to escape these tunnels? And where did they come out? He couldn't remember if there had been more drones left behind at the entrances. Would it be a trap to leave that way?
"Is there another way out besides the tunnels? Tevini and I were tricked into coming with the drones. I don't know if they're waiting outside the entrances or not but..." His tone was concerned but his face was determined. They were not going to be fooled again. "I don't want to find out." He didn't know any of these trolls and it wasn't like he had a strong emotional attachment to them but somehow all this shittyass crap going on fueled an irrational desire to see them all out.
They all had one thing in common at least. They'd all been lied to.

Two more trolls swung by the newly formed group and Tevini blinked back the water in her eyes (half from her earlier fright and half from the frickin' gas wafting around). Straining to catch everything that was happening, she kept quiet as the older trolls took attendance and status of their team. Etsali was helping them out as a favor and she was going to go along with whatever she needed without any fuss. Glancing at the two trolls that shared the same colored accessories, her eyes widened at the realization they must be twins or something crazy and she found herself amazed at all the new things she was seeing today! Yes they were scaring the s**t out of her but she'd never encountered twins before and most definitely not mutants!
The girl jumped as something unbelievably soft brushed against her and she turned to see a fluffy white ball of fluff. The creature rubbed against everyone and when it came to her turn, the curly haired troll hugged it tight, comforted by the gentle lusus. Calming down she felt bad that she was getting snot on it and pulled away quickly to finish cleaning up. There! Cerpin's voice filled her ears and the redblood nodded at his words.
"Cerpin's right, we can't go back the way we came." Tevini agreed. The military had not shared it's plans with the crowd on the way over but it was entirely possible that this was only phase one of their plan for annihilating the rebels. She doubted that the queen had plans to sacrifice all of the army trolls currently inside by blowing the tunnels up now but it wouldn't be insane for her to be sending a second wave of soldiers.
"They told us the goal was eradication. They don't care about scouting the place out or taking prisoners, just killing all the rebels." Tevini was not the brave hero troll who felt she could take up arms in the name of justice to save all of the rebels here but she did feel the need to say something. To warn her current helpers. She didn't know anything about Kursha and his betrayal or why the rebels were filled with such anger that they had to stay and fight him. To her it was actually the worst idea possible.
"If there's anyone else you want to save we'd better get them now and get out. There's no base left here to protect."
((Tried to come up with a way to stall the group from leaving so that people can still participate in the meta fight until this phase is over! Wasn't sure if there were any other trolls the Tunnel Snakes might look for but just an idea!))

If Psykgi had only been witness to the orangeblood's realization of the direness of battle – it was something she would have killed – possibly literally, though that was unlikely – to see.
Fortunately, there were other things to interest her, like the reaction of drones to having various segments of Ma'am crawling on them.
Some swatted. Some jumped. Some ran screaming into the fray. Others didn't care at all. Others... were dead.
STOP! The boss battle portion of this rp is over for tonight, and will resume 6-7pm EST tomorrow. This means no more half hour attacks/drone beating/drone cheering.
Players may continue to fill in posts, roleplay, and pvp between now and then, but any accidental boss posts will be disregarded and the mule will strike the damage out of them. Thank you!

Vremea hesitated when he thanked her, blinking in surprise before nodding and fussing over Maneki in the mean time, checking to see if he had any parts of him that were hurt. She checked with his hair, horns, clothes-- All was fine, so far. Glancing back to Zeffer, Vremea gave him a raised eyebrow before placing it on the floor. "It is full of acid, but thank you." Vremea stated, lifting the kid up in her arms, keeping him hidden behind what was left her cloak. "I might go back to see if any rebels need healing or if I can see any of my companions." She said, looking behind them toward other rebels. "I will be back however, should I go." She didn't want to leave them alone.
Zeffer looked sheepish as he made the realization, his face flushed with frustration and lingering pain. "Still pretty wet, but you're right. Sorry about that." His mind was clouded, and he suddenly tensed as Vremea lifted Maneki up. It wasn't that he didn't trust her, but....
"Mmmm...I'm gonna tag along. I promised Akko I wouldn't let the kid out of my sight... I'll cover you while you work." He wasn't comfortable leaving Maneki. It would be difficult for Vremea if she had to wield her large weapon and make sure the mutantblood kept close, and he hoped she would accept his compromise. He unhooked his batons again and slunk after her quickly, on the lookout for any approaching drones or Royalists. If they were lucky, perhaps, they'd run into Aprife and Muerte along the way.
"For! You made it!" Mostly in one piece, though just hearing her talk made it obvious that she was another gas victim. Luxara deferred to the tealblood's advice about breathing it out, since Forera was able to run and all compared to the big brother.
She nodded with relief when Forera offered assistance with keeping Anguis moving. It was hard not to laugh a little, though, at the commentary. "He might be heavy but he's not dead yet! Your bro has been really helpful during this whole shindig."
Some redblood momentarily joined them, stuttered out a pretty decent idea, then disappeared into the fray again. "Who the heck was that? His hair defied gravity!"

He did have to get up. All he wanted to do was sit and cry and will for the burning to stop, but it didn't work like that. And if he stayed there, Athene and Voscil might, too, and they didn't have the luxury of hanging around for long. They were so kind to him, and he had to get them out of here no matter what. There was so much pressure, now, and the drones would have no love for the small group.
With a wince and continual whimper, Reemus tried to push himself up from the floor. His chest responded horribly in response to him leaning forward. He yelped in pain. "M-mum."
Gillian slipped away from back support, slowly, making sure he could sit up on his own before she padded in front of him. Reemus used her body as a stable support, one hand on her flanks and pushing himself up to a wobbling standing position. He kept trying to open his eyes. Progress was slow, but at least one was...working...kind of...in the dark. He took shuddering breaths and leaned on his lusus from there. "S- step one, right?" he croaked, trying to smile. When it didn't flash with pain, it was otherwise numb. Same for his chest.
The appearance of his sibling made Anguis feel a lot better and he, for once in his life, found himself listening to her. It figured she would have been caught in it too, they always seemed to have odd parallels. He took a wheeze of a breath as she shoulder his weight, giving her a scowl for the comment.
"I'm not... dead weight," He rasped at Forera, but offered nothing else in reply except a smile to Luxara for at least trying to defend him. For a minute he just laid his head on her shoulder as best he could, breathing in her and mumbling a very quiet "I'm glad you're... safe and here." But the moment passed and he moved to stand up straighter, try and keep his weight to himself. He still felt shaky, but better. He just wanted to sit for a minute, honestly.
But Estali and that redblood had said they needed to keep moving and he was reluctant to ride on someone else's lusus, so it was time to walk. He took another breath again and felt some of the burning in his lungs dissipate. Not much, but enough that it felt a little easier to breathe again. He could do this. He had to get out of here alive. If what one of the kids said was true, then they had no other option really.
