 Faustus NecromoniumFaust had just dusted himself off from the last possession, when the JPs agents heard something on the Radio. He felt a hand on his arm, and slumped over.
"Again.." he called, before the Agent nodded. They wandered about to another area, and he held his phone up again.
"Come out.." he called, the demon emerging again. "We need to reinforce this section of the barrier too. Help us, so that we can..beat..something or another."
The demon gave him a disbelieving glance that he reciprocated, the two sharing a tense moment...Before he felt the energy pouring into him. The barrier formed around him, reinforced with the Demon's essence. He stepped down again, and his phone was added with yet another demon, making him ever so slightly stronger.

Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "There are more demons on the road already? I thought I could at least walk back to town from Yasogami in peace. Guess I have to fight..." Gin quickly pressed the buttons on his phone, and out popped his demon. There were plenty of enemies for him to fight, so he knew that he wasn't going to take this one easy. A single moment of hesitation in his day's work could end up being the death of him, quite literally. He'd not fall into that sort of obvious pitfall, nor would he stop growing and hide out back at JPs headquarters. There were people waiting for him...and only by growing stronger could he make something of this situation. Quote: Gin defeats demons. Current Demons: Kobold (+8 levels)

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "I'm not sure that Maragi will handle it anymore. Should I upgrade...?" Gin considered what might be the best tool for dealing with the demons as he clicked through his phone. His battery was getting low as well, which meant he needed a recharge at their headquarters ASAP. If he didn't get it, the fighting would end up impossible and he'd die, and he wasn't going to be a statistic for anyone else to worry about. Faustus NecromoniumFaust was just walking back to the base, when a strange...ice-cream cone emerged, hissing at him in some alien tongue.
"I don't have time for this." he snapped, before he brought out the small pixie demon. Though it faced the monster triumphantly, he watched as the little thing was obliterated in a flash, his phone getting some of her remaining energy as a bonus. He'd lost a demon....
'Well, that kind of sucks.' he thought, before some agents moved over. "Go, Mister Faust! We'll handle this thing!"Faust paused, but shrugged, continuing on. He didn't care for fighting right now, and if they wanted to deal with it....

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Thanks for the recharge. I guess killing demons just doesn't get the phones charged up as much as it does me. Ahahaha...that joke was bad, and I feel bad." Gin clicked his phone open and made sure that he had a full battery before heading outside. He'd returned to JPs HQ for a while, and now he needed to get back out on the streets again to deal with the growing Megrez threat. First he had to test out his recharged battery on demons though, and there were some low threat enemies nearby, which would make it easy. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "I found traces of blood sir, but none of the JPs agents. I think they were ambushed...by some locals. I'll find them, I promise." Gin winced as he looked down at the blood on the ground, which was no small amount. It seemed that someone had turned their demons on the JPs agents with lethal force, and though they might be alive still, their time was running out. Gin had vowed to find the squad's traces for Yamato, but now that he was here the duty was merely to clean up the mess. But that wasn't what he intended to do. If even a single agent was alive, he'd defeat the Rioters who attacked, and return them to JPs, to their families if possible...though the risk that he would end up a victim was always there as well. These were professional demon tamers, so it wasn't like they were simply caught off guard. He couldn't rely on his own strength too much, whatever he found. He had to be willing to do anything...even retreat, if overwhelmed. Quote: Gin defeats a group of Rioters holding JPs agents hostage. Current Demons: Kobold (+8 levels)

Faustus NecromoniumFaust eventually made it back to the base, leaning back against a wall for a moment's reprieve.
'Everything's just gone to s**t..' he thought, before seeing another of the cones outside. He raised his hand at this, thinking to summon his demons...before letting out a breath.
"You know what, No." he called, drawing his bow again. "Aeros, or whatever your name is....Go distract it. I'll blast it."
The sporadic air demon darted around, getting the bud's attention..Before a non-elemental arrow punched a hole in the cone. For a few moments, nothing...before it fell over.

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Thank god...I was worried I wouldn't find you guys alive." Gin drew his leg back, the last of the rioters collapsing unconscious to his side from the blow to the side of his head. Looking over, he spotted the wounded agent who's trail he'd followed, and ran to his side to quickly remove the ropes binding him. "Are you...from the Chief? Thank goodness, I thought we were done for..." "Hey, don't thank me yet. We're not out of here." Both let out coy laughs as Gin helped the man to his feet, and they began making for the door. He could call the chief when he got reception on the street level, but it turned out they'd been hiding the agent in a basement, and had even realized the blood trail could lead someone right to them. Gin's demon sustained several wounds through the battle, but it survived...but he was beginning to think that he needed to upgrade as soon as possible. If he didn't, next time he might also be a victim. Before that happened...he had to take a handle on the situation. Quote: Gin defeats a group of Rioters holding JPs agents hostage. Faustus NecromoniumAs he shot down one of the buds though, another emerged, aiming to take his blind spot. A quick tumble to the ground, and a near-miss later, his demon darted over, slamming into the Bud. It didn't finish it...but, it did keep it from assailing him any further. Faust watched as the JPs agents went to catch up with it..Apparently the same one that was fighting him before. He started away lazily, stretching his hands behind his back.

There were so many reasons not to believe what he was seeing, but the biggest and most obvious just had to be...he was clearly the right guy in the wrong situation. Ghosts? ARMORED ghosts, from the future!? He didn't believe in such a thing. Let alone that anyone had killed Church, because he was the hope of the Blue Team. Unless it was a team killing ****tard. "Look, you're possessing the wrong guy. And I don't have time for this right now. So move along." And so the ghost left him...all the while mumbling something about, 'Oh, sorry', and 'But you didn't have to be such an a** about it'. As if GIN was the one going around possessing people... Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Desperadooo...come down from your fences... before it's too late...hm hm..." Gin hummed as he defeated another demon, nostalgia gripping him as he flashed back to his days of being the lead singer of a band just a few days ago. Granted he wasn't exactly an 'active' member right now, but it only made it more bitter sweet that such things were impossible in the current world. The Eagles were running through his head since the start of the evening, but they weren't the only band. And though the demons were worth taking all of his attention, he felt his mind wandering here or there, to better times...to things that only he could do. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "There you are...Sako, I've located that second Bud! I'm going to eliminate it immediately." Gin dashed towards the monster, gripping his tonfa tightly. He knew there was a third in the area, which made this his opportunity to whittle down the strength of the true Septentriones while it was diverting it's attention elsewhere. The only question that remained was whether he could tear through the demons and their master on his own, but he had confidence that he could overcome the obstacles this time. He had to, to take the next step in his evolution...and become a stronger person. "It's over, you freak! I'm going to finish iiiiiit!" Gin ducked under a swing of an Ogre's sword as his own Kobold appeared, countering the demon while it's master made a b-line for the true fiend of this operation. He would kill it, and rectify this situation. He would save Inaba...as long as he had his phone, his weapon, and the unwavering will for domination in the name of man.
