OOC Shu has reached the first stage of infection. She has begun coughing up blood, and her throat feels very dry. Her temperate spikes as her body tries to fight off the infection.

Lex shot Ami a very pained look, keeping the pistol trained on any lurching mass that came even within a few feet feet of the couple. Stormy was crying out, Evan was in trouble apparently. "Our...assets. Should we attempt to help?
All thoughts of the two were wiped, however, when one of the things lurched out and grabbed his gun. No. ******** no.

He heard Nellie not too far off. Talking about someone who looked injured. "Don't mess with them Nellie!" He called out. Unsure if it was whatever was attacking them trying to trick her or someone actually hurt. They could sort out the bodies later. "Yea well I don't want to be ten times as ******** being stuck in this small room." He tried not to snap but all the screaming and panicking was making it really hard to think. When Harlow moved towards finding the exit Zascha stopped dead in his tracks. Right in front of him, looming ten feet tall with a wicked looking saw blade. He felt his blood run cold. "********..." The Moon Hunter was using way too many expletives. But the situation called for it. "Harlow you better move your sweet a** right this ******** second." But he didn't wait. He couldn't. All he could see playing out in his mind was that big whatever the ******** it was bringing that sword down and cleaving her in two. Rushing forward he summoned Gothsmog, yanking Harlow back behind him.

"It'll be okay," the voice soothed, "you will make it okay."
Dakota blacked out immediately as something heavy hit him over the head.
When he woke up, he was tied somewhere. It was hard to make out, but it was dark, danker, and there were several shapes stirring around him, seemingly other Hunters such as himself. It was still impossible to see.

"Aro." She tugged on his arm. "Aro there's a cord up there!" She tried to steady her flashlight, but as the sounds of panic, the shouts of pain, the squelches of bodies being torn apart began to rise around her, the more she could feel herself begin to shake. "I--It might have something to do with the power...." But there were so many of those infected patients. So many of them that it looked nearly impossible to get up there from where they were. She took a deep breath. "I THINK WE NEED TO TAKE THEM OUT!" She tried to shout to everybody nearby. Anybody who wants to hear Lydia and attack the wall of infected people

Pales His other hand managed to pick up the flashlight and turn it on. Immediately, several pairs of eyes, that had been occupied, turned around, to stare right at Jude, following the light source. They didn't start moving, quite yet.

Maebe scrabbled and fought with every last bit of her strength to keep herself from being let down, when Jude started to put her on her feet to grab the flashlight. She fought, and scratched, and tried to climb back up, until he snapped the light on and she froze as sight returned. Then she slowly stopped attacking him, and stood up on her own two feet. "Oh." She breathed out, her voice hoarse from exertion. "Thank God. Now let's get out of here." She was acting like she hadn't just tried to maul him to death herself. Zombies were nothing compared to her in the dark. She fixed her jacket, and turned to look at where the flashlight was - ... "Turnitoffturnitoffturnitoff-" For the first time in her life, Maebe preferred the dark.

Wait.
Something was wrong.
Suddenly, Finn's status fled from his mind. This wasn't a wall, or a helpful thing at all. There was something crawling inside it, which made it something he should probably get away from as soon as - too late. Whatever it was, it burst. And suddenly, before he really had a chance to yell any sort of rather colourful curses - though he sure did try to yell a bunch of them - he was covered in something horrible. His curses came out as a disgusted sputter and an undignified GACK, before he fell backwards, slipping on the reminants of whatever it was he was now covered with.
"Sonuva--" Ripley groaned to himself, before his body lurched with the urge to vomit. Gloved hands, equally covered in the pungent fluid, lifted to hold his mouth, which certainly didn't help anything. He heaved, and gagged, and eventually held his head, trying to get it to pass without spilling what little he had in his stomach. Ultimately, he failed at that, too.
He didn't know which way was up any more, and even as he sat on the ground, the dark world around him spun. His motions were nothing short of clumsy, but he managed to take off his gloves, pulling them inside out, and wiped his face with them to get the excess fluid off of his face, more specifically his eyes, glasses, nose and mouth.
"Don't-" He sputtered, the nausea still overwhelming his senses. "-Come over here. I'm--" He paused with a sickly groan, and leaned forward to put his head between his knees. Augh. This was disgusting.
After a while, he tried to stand, and to put distance between himself and the thing that had practically vomited on him.
