Aiden had been startled when one of the other hunters addressed him(Fini), being focused on the creature. But before he could reply to her they were called over to try another tactic. At first he hadn't found a partner so he just helped moving the equipment where it was needed which was a shame since it looked like fun even if dangerous. When another hunter called to him he looked over and gave a small grin. He moved quickly over and his grin grew a bit. "Ready when you are."

[Life]
Nodding to the Hunter, Lex began strapping him in. "The name's Lex, by the way. You?" He smiled, clicking a buckle and securing a knot more tightly. He pulled the straps a few times to test the strength of the knots, and gave a satisfactory nod.
Handing him a few daggers, he gave him a half salute. "Good luck." Aiming the massive launcher quickly in the chaos, he pulled the trigger and sent the young buck towards the creature's back.

[Launched 1/1, Sun Hunter] Aiden shifted once or twice to help Lex out with the strapping and nodded. "Nice to meet you Lex. I'm Aiden." He took the offered daggers and gripped them firmly. "Thanks." Next he knew he was in the air and heading at the creature. He landed on the back with a wobble and after he got his footing, found a spot to stab the infusers in. That done he quickly used the straps to get back to solid ground. He had a small grin on his face. He might have had more fun then he should have. [Damage = 48]

Nodding, she supposed that was the gist of it when it came to Sun hunters. "I guess." Personally, she loved being on the front lines. Being in the thick of action was always enough to get one's blood pumping.
Watching with a bemused look as another hunter approached, Kat greeted Finn with a wry grin and a lazy wave. "Hey." Obviously these two had some sort of connection, though it was difficult to tell just how well they got along. Half tempted to question about it, she instead glanced past Finn, spotting Fini. Having known the girl a little, she offered a small wave in greeting. "Hey, Fini. Long time no see."
It wasn't long after that, they were met by a fourth person. Smiling, she waved to Abby. Apparently Deus had woken more people from the pods than she had thought. Good thing too, as with Deus in its current state, they would need all the man power they could get.

Wine. Alcohol. Yes, she'd like some after this please. That never failed to calm her down when she was unmedicated.
After watching Gale land on the monster with a small breath of relief, she glanced to the girls. "Sorry, um, I didn't catch a name?" she said as she wiped some sweat off on her coat, trying better at a smile. "And, uh, yeah . . . don't see those everyday. Usually it's something more horrifying." Nevada help she forgot how to socialize with strangers when it was loud and noisy and many peoples again halp.
Which was why she was happily half-distracted once Gale returned with a rough landing, kneeling down to see if he needed some help. "I am so, so sorry about that," Stormy told him, looking ashamed. Ready for the self-flagellation. "The recoil caught me by surprise and threw you off." This shouldn't have been a surprise--she did continually fail the Life portion of the training exercises. "You looked okay over there, so . . . So other than that, everything good?"

"Joke's on you, I don't drink wine," she assured Gale, throwing her hands up in the air. Ah yes, the mature 17 year old had certainly made the best impression possible.
She gave Stormy a signature smile and said, "Chelsea, but my friends call me Chel. Like the ga-" She cut short, realizing that that introduction fell absolutely flat with people here. It seemed nobody here had played a video game since they were born.
Nevertheless, Chelsea threw an arm around Nevada. "Very good friend to Nevada. Maybe a little more if she lets me," Chelsea said in jest, throwing her head back in laughter once more. It was a joke and they would hopefully catch on to that.
... Hopefully.

There was a playful grin that may have held a bit of challenge in it as she caught some of the disappointment in his features. "Awe, don't look too sad, moonstone." She teased. "By your figuring, our next 'date' is when I'm supposed to purr for you~"
Really, she didn't care if the little bit on his nose mattered. It was funny. And he'd gotten his free 'kiss' for the day.
Fini stared between them when he was on his feet again, laughing. "I look forward to it. Just... try not to be so blue next time?" And then he was shifting the conversation like one might shift a manual car. The sun trainee just gave him a curious look at the transition, shrugging a shoulder. "I'll tag along. If only to find more reason to tease you." Winking, she followed behind, glancing at the other hunters they passed. She had to admit, she was kind of curious if Gale was still in one piece.
And to her surprise, she recognized the hunter they walked up to. Or that Finn sauntered up to and she followed like a lost dog. And then just face-palmed, successfully getting blue goop on her face. Really? She looked up as Jack greeted her, offering an apologetic smile. "Hey Jack! And don't worry. I think I can keep him on a short leash around me." Fini said sweetly. Too sweetly. "But I can call you if I need any extra help, right?"
Kat, on the other hand, got a real grin. "How's it goin', Kat? Did you get to go slinging through the air yet?" Fellow sun buddy. Ah yeah. However the other girl that was shouting at Finn and Jack and waving enthusiastically at them got a blank look at first. Not someone she knew. Must be new. And waaaay too excited holy s**t. Fini managed to give a polite wave though.
To Finn, she gave him a smack in the shoulder. "How come you left the lil' bit out that you know Jack, huh?" A pause, and she glanced in the direction he was pointing. Was that Stormy? Was Gale nearby?

Nevada snorted at Chelsea's comment.
"It would've been easier to just ask for my hand in marriage Chelsea." She laughed before shaking her head. "Chelsea is a terrible flirt, but Stormy usually handles the advances well." As such, Nevada reached over to squeeze her friends arm gently. "I saw you flying earlier, were you okay?" And just like Stormy, her question directed to Gale when he returned.
"Are you both okay?" The other hand went to Gale's arm and she was somehow merging the two her bosom like precious babies. Well they kind of were.
Chelsea could get group action if she wanted too.

Harrison and Rep were working together. That was the way it worked, almost like normal, and Jordan's smile softened briefly into something more genuine and a little wistful. But there was no time to indulge himself in wishing; he needed to find someone to operate a launcher for him. Robert had, for some reason, launched Lucky with arm strength alone. Jordan raised one eyebrow at his friend and went to help the shorter Life hunter up from the pile he'd ended up in. "Hey, dude. You all right? Can I get your help?"

"Thank you," he murmured gratefully as Jordan helped him to his feet. There, that was penance enough for one day.
All the same, he resisted the urge to glance over his shoulder. He didn't even want to know right now, because that was just going to make it worse. Instead he gave his rescuer's coat a glance and adjusted his glasses to a less skewed angle. He welcomed the distraction wholeheartedly, and had already begun dragging Jordan by the arm down the row of launchers to one that was both sufficiently unoccupied and sufficiently far from where Jordan had found him. "Sun, eh? You must need lift."
He was more careful this time to follow the safety protocol before initiating the launch. Mimsy was still watching, somewhere. And these machines would not possibly break two times in a row.

Somewhere between his over-attention to making sure Jordan had a harness on, and traumatizing himself watching people nearby launch, Lucky had lost all track of the aiming mechanism. It was about three seconds after Jordan had taken to the air that he realized he hadn't adjusted the machine's direction at all. Uh oh... DEFENSE MULTIPLIER THING: 2...................

"That I do." Jordan followed Lucky to the unoccupied launcher and assisted with strapping himself in, the dagger in one hand. "Ready," he said when he'd been strapped in, and braced himself for the launch. It was like being kicked hard, but the flight itself was exhilarating. However, he realized a few seconds into the experience that his trajectory was not particularly optimal. It was almost by chance that he slammed into the tail, scrabbling for a good foothold; the tail lurched and moved constantly, and he had all he could do just to hang on long enough to smack the point of the dagger into the creature's hide. As his feet left the surface on his way back, he glanced back to see the dagger stick where it was for a couple of seconds ... and then fall out. Damage: 2 x 4 = 8 . . .

MOON LOOKING FOR SOME OFFENSE
Dammit was that thing still coming closer? It was wasn't it. And it was leaking white fog too.
Jason grimaced at the sight, sighing in the knowledge that he better get off his a** and help throw some of his colleges about so they could take down this beast.
"Uhhh..." He looked around awkwardly. "...Anyone need a hand?"

Jordan landed back on the ground just in time to hear someone calling out. He turned to see who it was -- a Moon he wasn't familiar with, though he'd seen the man around. "I could use some help," he answered, and picked up another runic dagger as he headed over towards Jason.

Ah, someone needed his help! Jason smilied as Jordan approached, quickly grabbing a cord and tying the straps around the wasit and back as instructed. God he hopped it was tight enough, He didn't want to screw this up. "Does that feel tight enough?" He asked Jordan just as a precaution, then set about trying to coil it up. "Okay I think...thats right..now I need to fire it...uhhhh" In his effort to tell his weapon to shut up, Jason may have lost concentration and pressed the fire button prematurely.
