Jay and Kitara are finally able to open the trap door. They turn to the other blue haired woman.

Sanyu senses their glance and, with a shake of the head, says, ``Just go. You have to go through the tunnel and keep going straight. There'll be an opening at the end, curving up towards the surface, which you'll have to take to get out fo the tunnel. Once you get past there, you will be safe but continue away from the village in case the troops head that way.´´

Kitara moves towards her cousin, who is unconcious, but the other woman stops her with her powerful words, ``I will stay here and get him out of here, if at all posible. If not, we both shall be dead.´´

Kitara pulls back from the other blue haired woman and, with Jay behind her, goes into the tunnel.

``Lael, come on!´´ Kitara calls to the albino woman as she stands in the tunnel under the trap door.

Philip Okalwa turns his fading eyes towards the albino woman and says, ``It's my time to go because Ana is gone. You must go and save yourself.´´

He sighs and, lowering his head, passes away.

Sanyu turns back to the blue haired elf and moves the pieces of the roof off of him. She then bends her knees so that she is kneeling by him.

biggrin ang, he's cute,: Margem says to Sanyu.

Sanyu laughes mentally and touches the elf with her right hand, ``Darian, wake up.´´

Kitara hears what Lael has to say and she responds, with a nod, ``I don't know who would ever want to kill a whole race. There seems to be no reason for it, either.´´

Jay leads the way down the tunnel, his ears at attention so that he can make sure the way is secure for himself and his female companions.

The commander and the troops come down to the village, surrounding Sanyu and ``Mr. Ownage´´ Darian. The commander orders a few of the troops to enter the house, which is quiet, and to kill all beings that had survived the collapse of the house.

The commander then commands that the troops let her deal with the blue haired woman by herself.

``So, if it isn't Sanyu,´´ the commander says, stepping up to the female.

The woman lifts her eyes to the commander, whose hair and face are covered with her hood.

``How do you know my name?´´ the blue haired woman asks, withdrawing her sword.

``That's for me to know and for you to guess,´´ the commander responds as she withdraws her sword.


((OOC: I have no idea how you wanted to get Darian out of this mess, tfMO. Tell me because Sanyu has to get out of the mess or else the other threads are bogus.))

((OOC: Okay, I admit it: my brain is frying down here in CR. I totally forgot about that part.... And about a few other things dealing with the RPs. sweatdrop And I'm stuck on this part because I don't know what to do. Sanyu wants to save Darian and get out of there but you reminded me that he was captured. ...give me a day or two and I will post here again.))

The two elves and the albino woman continue through the tunnel. Kitara says, "I wondered what happened to Margem?"

Jay chirps up something and Kitara nods, "She's lucky, to some extent because she left before the attack... But then, she's lost her family just like we lost ours."

The blue haired woman attacks the commander, her sword swinging as swiftly as a jaguar and quietly as the wind. The commander is able to block the attacks as her troops go through the destroyed Okalwa house. Sanyu finally is able to make a slice that the commander cannot block, wounding the woman's arm.

The blue haired elf sighs saying, "We weren't in Kima Pacia when it was attacked and destroyed, but we still had to deal with our family's and neighbor's deaths. It will be a little different for Margem, as she's used to travelling, but she'll find out eventually..."

Kitara's arm hurts at the thought of all the graves she had had to dig for the elves at Kima Pacia, because she and Jay were the only two that survived as far as they know. Also, Jay hadn't regained his elvish form beforehand.

Kitara gives the girl a hug around the shoulders with one of her arms and says, "There has to be a reason for what has happened to our families. There has to be a reason for surviving horrific events. I have no idea what it might be at this point, but I know that there's something more to do."

Jay nods, whistling his agreement.

"Therefore, we just have to keep going and fighting. We have to show others that we are tough but we are just, even when comrades and family fall around us."

She then becomes quiet for a little bit before saying, "I live on for my family, to one day continue the line if at all posible. I live to remember them, to love them, and to remind other elves about what has happened beforehand. A living memorial, one might say."

"Actually... it's... not known... who first... said that," Kitara starts to stutter, having stopped with her hand on one of the walls.

She sharply takes in her breath and, within seconds, is on the ground, her head in her hands - another of her migraines.
