You know, I don’t remember what my wish was either. But It must have been something good… The rabbit said something about us being able to remember who we were right?” Tamara frowned. “I wonder whether the wise was before or after we agreed to fight.” She was still drawing up a blank, but she was sure it had to do with something cute.

A wish?
Konnie was supposed to hold onto this thing; this wish. It would prove difficult when she hadn't the slightest of what it was. "I might have woken up on the wrong side of the... ummmmm" There was no bed to be seen, so her train of thought collapsed. Luckily, or unluckily, a new subject caught her immediate attention.
"EEK!"
Stumbling down on her bottom, the girl shuffled backwards on her palms, bum and heels. This was when something magical happened. Under her left had, an object materialized when she eeked. Glittering into existence was a blade of white and black. It had what looked like an eye on it, but it didn't move or look directly at her. This weapon wasn't alive, but looked like an animal of some kind- aquatic?
"You! You're the cause of so much... fear!"
Whichever type the white fluffy thing mentoned. Konnie struck at the ???, arising to her feet and thrusting the pointer end of the blade towards it. "KYAAAA~!"
Damn people and their stubbornness to decline help; what if that got them killed? Didn't they think about how that might weigh on the others' consciousness should it happen? Selfish.
...What happened to not forming bonds, Zelda? What happened to toys and cannon fodder?
She blamed Macy's stupid freaking stammering getting on her nerves and sighed inwardly. "We have two crystals, but if neither of you want it, that's on you," Zelda summed up briskly. "Be strong and stuff, I won't get in the way of that. Just know if you die, I'll kill you and you'll make Macy cry, and I'll have to deal with that." That was the closest she got to saying she cared, as well as what she hoped would be the last hint of it showing. Most likely a goal doomed to fail from the start, since somehow a hand had perched itself on Macy's shoulder protectively. Great.
Zelda watched as another one looked ready to full on go dark with that weird energy, and almost immediately she had a gaggle of gals set upon helping her up. It was both touching and a bit melancholy, the image touching some half-formed memory in her mind for some reason.
Remember your wish!
"Hey, uh...P girl. Forgot your name, volume wonder," she greeted the feisty one with a small nod before turning to the group as a whole. "Don't worry about not making a dent, Elspeth, that thing doesn't look like it belongs in this world so it probably will take a bit to get rid of; plus there's, like, fifty of us, so we have the advantage. Chin up, soldier."
Confidence!
"So did anyone else catch that thing about wishes?" she asked curiously, her hand still on May's shoulder. "Apparently we didn't just volunteer, we got something out of this fight for the world package. Anyone getting flashbacks or déjà vu?"
"Like I was hit by a truck...a large one....covered in spikes." Red and black specks floated around her vision as she waited for the world to resume its normal rotation; the overly fast one it was currently using was making her a little motion sick. As the world cleared, her blue eyes focused on the odd creature in front of her. Well that was new! Or...was it? She ran a hand through her copper hair, trying to remember if she'd seen anything like that before, but honestly, she was having trouble remembering much. Her blank stare must have given her away, judging by the next words out of its mouth.
"Umm....maybe. That would probably be a good idea." She let her eyes wander, but there wasn't much to see yet. As they did she tried to find any memory she could to hold onto. Why couldn't she remember anything? There should be memories, right? Giving herself a look over, she reckoned she had to be around...fifteen? Maybe sixteeen. That should mean she had plenty of memories, but the only thing she could remember was a name. Alysabette. Was it her name? It would have to do.
"Fight? What would I fight? Or why?" If there was an answer to that, it didn't seem like she was going to get one. Without her memories, she may as well fight for now. At least until she started to figure out what was going on.
There was an item?! She looked at the ground to her left and sure enough, the only item in the room was a small, albeit slightly cracked, blue china patterned teapot. "Seriously? A teapot? How is that a weapon?! I mean...I could probably hit someone over the head with it, but that would probably only work once, and even then it wouldn't be very effective..." She turned it over in her hands, trying to figure it out. Was it a joke?
< Ah, let me explain a little better. There are many kinds of Fear. There is kind, benign Fear, taken from Humans, to help our world. Then there is a terrible type of Fear that would take without considering the balance between Humans and Halloween. >
"Is that what you want me to fight, then? The kind that just takes and doesn't think?" If the weird creature was speaking the truth, it certainly seemed like something worth fighting for.
< You have been chosen to restore this balance of course. Your weapon will help you do this. As a Reaper, skilled in using Fear in weapons, I'm sure you using this weapon is natural to you! >
"A reaper?! Like a grim reaper?! Wait I kill people?!" There was a moment of panic in her voice. The creature was talking about fear, though, not souls. Maybe it was a different kind of reaper? She would just have to hope; the creature seemed unlikely to clarify. She gripped the teapot in her hands tightly, her anxiety causing a large ball of tea to shoot from the spout and sizzle on the floor in front of her. Well....she guessed that was more of a weapon that she had originally thought it to be. How interesting! "S-so...why me...?"
"Wait! You haven't told me....where to go...? Or where I am?" She looked around, standing and dusting herself off during the process. Voices could be heard somewhere down a corridor to her left, seemed like a good place to start looking for someone or something that could help her sort things out.

"TEN THOUSAND YEARS OF PAAAAAAAAAIN!" You know, because lightning strikes are hot enough to turn sand into glass, so it would be very painful to be struck by one. Her blade pulsed, glowing yellow as lightning crackled along the surface. Then, she jammed it into the creature, thrusting the blade in as deeply as she could before retreating, sword in hand.
Well she wasn't going to get any answers just standing around waiting for something to happen, so away down the corridor she went. Just as she was nearing the voices that annoying little creature reappeared right in her way. Before she could even begin to understand what it was saying about wishes and fighting she ran full into what appeared to be the middle of one of those fights it mentioned earlier. There were other girls with all manner of weaponry fighting a giant...well....it seemed to defy any sort of description or classification she could give it, but it certainly felt bad. She kinda felt like she needed a long shower just from being near it. Regardless, the other girls were fighting it and she couldn't well deny that her teapot was more than she had thought it was. Maybe, just maybe, it could do enough damage to help? At least, it couldn't hurt anything, right? Maybe she could talk to some of the girls and figure out what was going on if they managed to beat this....thing.
As best she could with a teapot, she took aim at the ominous form in front of her. "Don't let me down, little teapot. Please, oh please!" With that she focused as hard as she could, sending a ball of piping hot tea flying toward the creature! Time seemed to slow down as she watched it fly through the air, hoping it would connect with the monster, and not one of the other girls.

It hit! Holy cow, it hit! It wasn't like a grenade, but the sizzle of the tea hitting an the cry of pain was unmistakable. She felt a surge of pride knowing she'd hit the creature, and at least hurt it a little bit. It was a decent hit, so here was hoping the next one would connect as well. Dancing out of the way of a...tendril? Tentacle? It was hard to tell, but she was almost certain she didn't want to get hit by it!
Taking a deep breath she took aim again, feeling an immense amount of relief when another sphere of boiling tea came flying from the spout of her poor, dilapidated teapot.

A'qilah felt a sense of accomplishment as she stepped back, her muscles tensed and her eyes on the creature in front of her; she had managed to do some decent damage, which was what mattered... Everyone seemed to be giving it their all despite the dire circumstances, so there was no reason for her to be slacking. Maybe once they have defeated this thing, they would be able to remember something, and then they can all go back to wherever they came fr-
"AUGH!" She yelped, letting go of her sword, sending it falling to the ground with a noisy clatter. Quickly, she leaped away, breathing heavily as she turned around just in time to see one black tendril retreating back to the creature she had just attacked... And that the skin on her back, where it had touched her, had corroded away, explaining the sharp pain she just felt... And the lingering pain she's still feeling.
Bearing with the pain, she dragged herself over to her sword to pick it up, her grip tightening on the hilt.
Looking around, giving this whole trying-to-remember-her-wish thing a rest (there were still more important things going on...), Ashleigh spotted a girl sitting slightly apart from the others, and if she wasn't mistaken, she was...smirking? Curious...
What could possibly be so amusing?
She looked around, but everyone else seemed to be either helping or being helped...there was no one obvious that stood out to her as needing immediate attention, so she began moving in Luka's direction, stopping a few feet away from her, allowing the handle of her scythe to settle on the ground, her eyebrows raised slightly...curiously.
"Hi there! I'm Ashleigh. Taking a short break? If so, mind if I join you for a bit?"
Shyness was not in her vocabulary...and besides, while her injury didn't pain her, if she were honest, sitting down for a few moments sounded like a nice break.

It's not an overly long scythe, but it's wickedly sharp, and possesses two blades instead of one--the second one can be removed and held by a separate, short handle (it interlocks into the main handle) in a pinch. If one were to look closely at it, it looks like a snake, with two oversized blade-fangs. Personality: Optimistic and driven, Ash is decisive and not one to second-guess herself..she's also one to see things through, even when the going gets difficult. "I wish I knew what wish it was I wished for! KYAA~!"
Her eyes closed shut and her hands griped the blade's handle tightly. It was more of a threatening pose than an actual physical attack. Maybe the ??? would feel her aura of intent to attack. Yeah.
Another hit! Ok, so it really just hit a tendril that happened to move into the path of the tea but it totally counts! At least it did for her, and that's all that mattered. The creature looked really mad by now, with everyone beating on it and trying to keep it from hurting them too badly. She could see some getting hurt and others seeming to heal them. She highly doubted that boiling hot tea would be very good for healing people's wounds, even if it might be tasty. Was it tasty? Curious as she was, she didn't dare afford the moment to find out!
Taking a fierce stance she held the teapot ahead of her almost like it were a large gun and grinned wickedly at the creature. With a quiet prayer for the heroic coup-de-gras she was setting herself up for, she yelled as loud as she possibly could...
"CLEAN CUP! MOVE DOWN!"
A huge sphere of tea flew from the spout of the teapot, steam snaking out through some of the cracks. As she watched it fly through the air she couldn't help but be aware of how much she was actually enjoying this. The fighting, the risking her life, the weird catchphrase. It felt....right.

Not only did this one hit as well, it hit hard! She grinned at the small puffs of smoke that rose from the creature's...skin? The howl of pain let her know that she wasn't ignored. She jumped in the air with a hoot of joy, letting her success get the better of her. She shouldn't have celebrated so soon.
A tendril from the now quite angry and hurt creature hit her in the center of her back, sending her flying several feet from where she had previously been. She lets out a small scream of pain as her skin seems to burn at the touch and she has to focus on trying to remember how to breathe after she hits the ground. Trying to stand makes her legs give out from under her, as if she were a newborn fawn. All she could really do was pray that the other distracted the creature long enough for her recover.

Konnie's eyes opened widely now, remembering that she had a promise to keep- something she wished for and, thusly, had something to fight for.
"W-WHATEVERIT IS-"
She pointed her index finger straight at the mass of unknown matter she'd attacked.
"YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU~!!!"
The blade in her other had spun around as she twirled it almost instinctively.
"YOU ARE PHONE!!!"
Yeah!
Saying that brought a rise of energy within Konnie, causing her blade to come forward and hit her target somehow. At least it hit... whoever/whatever it was.
"That was really cool! Are you okay though?" Yara asked the girl wielding a blade crackling with electricity. Never mind her own injuries... She was sure it was probably because her weapon was a parasol. And not a proper weapon at that. Trying to shake off the numbness and wobbly sensation, Yara stumbled over to A'qilah, using her parasol for balance.
When the cracks disappeared from Gwyn's Fear Core, her vision cleared, her hearing went back to normal, and the nagging feeling in her head and chest subsided. She felt as good as new. "A bit better? Yes! No. I mean... I mean I feel better than better. I feel the best! Th-thank you!" She wanted very much to hug this girl. "Please tell me your name, so I can thank you properly." Then, she gestured to herself with her hand. "I'm Gwen."
Good, they all seemed... well enough. She offered a bright smile to the other three before casting her gaze over the rest of their group. A few were still fighting, but many seemed injured. One... more than the others. The reaper bit at her lip a moment before turning on her heel. "I... she needs help." She stated, giving the trio a quick look before darting off. She was the least injured and... she might have the power to help.
That thing had said it could heal, right?
"Being alone... it's dangerous." She stated it softly, slowly slipping up near the fellow blue gem bearing girl as she knelt down slowly near her. She seemed in terrible shape, racked with pain. That wasn't good at all. "Let me help." She stated it simply as she carefully took the black crystal she'd sort of 'earned' earlier and held it up toward the other, obviously intending to patch her the girls fear core. "That small creature we've spoken to said this will heal us." She added, waiting and hoping it would do as she'd been told. Because certainly it would do not good for their comrade to fall so soon.
"Is... that a bit better perhaps?" She added, tilting her head to one side as the bright reddish orange gaze looked on curiously. Maybe? Just maybe?
