Jess nodded and held the door open further. "Doing some tinkering, I think," he said, showing them where Andarien was sitting at a desk with some gears and his tools out in front of him. Eon was also on the desk, sitting quietly in one corner and watching his master curiously.

Andarien looked over his shoulder when Eon gave him a pointed yip and grinned at his parents.

"Hi, Nana! Hi, Ada! What's up?"

Andarien looked so into what he was doing, it would be a shame to take him away from it. Lin couldn't help but feel.

She wondered which kit he was working on, or if he was working on something else completely.

"Your ada and I are going to see Arwen, she is Leyenda's mother, to visit and ask her when we'll be sailing. I was going to say you should come along, but you seem quite into what you're doing."

If he stayed at the inn, she supposed she wouldn't mind if he stayed behind.

Andarien's eyes grew wide, and he bit his lip as if he was trying to make a very difficult decision. He looked at his gears and tools, then back at his parents, then back at his tools, and then back at his parents once more.

"But ... I've never met Arwen," he said slowly, "and ... and she's Leyenda's mother ... and ... we never went to this city before when we were traveling ..."

He bit his lip again and looked back at his gears.

Earendil smiled. "Well, you have the entire trip to meet Arwen and use your gears, but you are right, we haven't brought you to this city before and that's one thing that you can't see while we're traveling."

Andarien made up his mind. "I'll go with you," he decided, reaching for his cap. "I can work on this when we get back! Come on, Eon!"

He plunked his cap on his head and made sure both of his Pokeballs were safely in his belt, then motioned for Eon to follow him and moved quickly to join his parents.

Lin grinned at that, "Now just to see if your sister wants to come."

Though Miyuki could easily explore on her own if she wanted. Something Lin had to remind herself from time to time.

"Okay!" Andarien grinned as he joined his parents at the door. "See you later, Jess!" he called back into the room.

"Later," Jess called back.

Before they closed the door, River and Aranxia approached the three. "Hold up!" River called out, grinning. "We're here to collect Jess!"

Lin chuckled, "Here to take him out to see the city?"

They certainly looked like they were, and it would make sense. This was also Jess' first time traveling as far as Lin knew.

"Absolutely!" River beamed. "None of us have been here before, and it's so different from any place we've been!"

"We're hoping that Miyuki might show us around," Aranxia added with a warm smile. "She's been here before, hasn't she?"

Jess came out of the room and closed the door behind himself, then stood next to River. He said nothing, not wanting to interrupt the conversation at hand.

Lin nodded, and now that she thought about it, they had stayed here for at least a week or so while the ship was being prepared. Funny how she forgot that but remembered that Miyuki had been with them on their last sailing trip.

"Yes, yes she has when she was younger," Lin replied.

So she didn't know how much Miyuki remembered.

"It was a long time ago, but I'm sure she would love to go with all of you,"
Lin admitted, "Would you like us to ask? We were going to check in on her anyways."

"Sure," River agreed cheerfully. "But if she doesn't want to come, that's okay, too. We'll just explore and hope that we can find our way back here!"

She laughed. Aranxia looked a bit worried, but Jess was chuckling as well.

"Don't worry," he assured Aranxia quietly. "River doesn't know how to get lost. We'll be fine, regardless."

Lin grinned at that, "You'll all be fine. We'll just quickly see if Miyuki is in her room."

Well technically, Miyuki was sharing a room (there were so many people in their party), but it was also Miyuki's room for now. Taking Earendil's hand, she led the way over to the room the young kitsune was staying in and knocked.

"Sure," River grinned. "We'll be ... um, where will we be?"

She looked to the others to see what they thought.

"Dining room?" Jess suggested. "Just for something small?"

River giggled. "Sure. We'll be in the dining room. If Miyuki's going to go with you just let us know on your way out!"

"Thank you," Aranxia added as the three of them continued down the hall.

Lin waved as she waited for Miyuki to open the door. There was a bit of shuffling behind the door, as if papers were being put away before it opened revealing Miyuki.

"Oh! Hi," she smiled at them, "What's up?"

A Gaian saying she seemed to have picked up and couldn't shake off, even though there was of course nothing above them but the ceiling.

"We're going to see Arwen, but River, Aranxia and Jess were wondering if you would like to go with them and show them around the town."

Miyuki scratched the back of her head thoughtfully, "I can't say I would remember where everything is, but it would be nice to go out with them."

If for no other reason than to just spend time with Jess, River and Aranxia.

"They're waiting for you in the dining room here in the inn," Earendil informed her, "so whenever you're ready, you can join them there. Andarien will be coming with us to talk to Arwen ... we're going to find out when we'll be leaving. We're not sure what we'll be doing after that, so keep out of trouble, and we'll see you back here for dinner, all right?"

He smiled at her. He didn't expect her to get into any trouble at all, he was just teasing her.

Miyuki grinned, "Of course! I'll see you at dinner then."

She didn't need to grab her bag, she didn't have any money of her own to spend anyways. So, instead she motioned for Ai to follow her as she exited her room.

"See you later!"

With a whirl, she was hurrying down the hall to the dining room, with Ai at her heels.

Andarien blinked as Miyuki ran off, then looked up at his parents.

"She's really in a hurry," he remarked with a half-grin.

Earendil chuckled. "Nothing wrong with that," he winked. "Now come on, time for us to go, too."
