"I will speak only with Jazz," Trace said. Jasmine stepped foward, close enough so that she had to look up at him. "Lily and Alex are dead because they ratted on me," Trace whispered in her ear. "Now you die as well." Jasmine hadn't seen the gun that was now pointed at her chest. He fired almost point blank and she felt the bullet hit her.

Neil tense as she stepped forward towards him. As the gunshot rung out his body moved out of pure instinct and reaction. He was close enough to close the distance between them before he could shift the gun to him. He pushed the gun aside and punched him in his chest with all the force that he had. Trace fell back into his door. Avarice didn't wait to be told what to do as he jumped forward and grabbed a hold of Trace. He shifted his attention to Jasmine as she fell down to the ground and he moved to her side.

Jasmine shook her head and sat up. "Bulletproof vests really do work," she said with a weak smile.

The relief that washed over Neil's face was almost palpable. He smiled and asked "Finally using your head?" He held out a hand to help her to her feet.

"I have two reasons to," Jasmine said. She placed her hand in his. "Really three reasons."

Neil held her hand as he pulled her to her feet. He couldn't help the smile that was on his face. He glanced over to Trace. Two murders and an attempted one. He won't be around here for long.

"This time I wanted to make sure I stayed safe," Jasmine said. She kissed his cheek.

Neil wrapped his arm around her as he pulled out his phone and called the police. After he hung up the phone and returned it to his pocket he kissed her head.

"What now since this case is obviously over," Jasmine asked. "What's next for us?"

"As for what is next for us....I think that you know what." Neil said as he inclined his head towards her stomach. He slowly picked her hand in his and looked at the ring that was on there.

Jasmine couldn't help her smile. "Yeah," she said softly. "There's that of course but what I meant was what's next for us in the Agency. We have yet to even notify them that we're...well..."

"True." Neil said as he let his hand fall to his side as he heard the police getting closer. After another minute the police came and took Trace away and asked them what happened. He told them what had occurred.

Jasmine stayed by his side through the entire thing. She said nothing, she never did. Other people tended to make her nervous these days.

After that things settled down with the Agency and things became quiet. about a month later people were getting ready for the wedding. Neil wanted to leave her mother out of it, but that would cause to many problems. So she was there, but the whole thing went on with out a problem. After that they left Rose in the care of Jasmine's father for a few days while they disappeared for a while. Then they returned and Rose once again was with them in their house as they waited and moved on.

Case Three
An unidentified body has been found floating in the pond at the park. The body is too decomposed for much to be told about it but the cause of death is obvious. The person died from a gunshot to the head. The gender and name of the body are unknown. It is now up to the Agency to discover who this person is, how they died, and who-if anyone-killed them.
