Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas put his hand to chest as he looked over at her, rubbing his head. "They put it there because I didn't make the cut as a super-weapon. I passed all the tests...except the last one. They gave me a mission and I didn't complete it, so I got this brand and got thrown out. I...lied on my application to the DWMA. I said coming here was their final test for me, but it wasn't...the final test was something much different..." He sighed as he felt his final wounds healed. "The people who made me said I was a failure....wouldn't they know me best of all people?" He asked. And I just want to show them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas nodded and returned Mirai's smile, more in an attempt to make her feel better. He still felt horrible inside. He was dusting himself off when a stranger came up to them and offered him some advice. He looked at her for a moment, not recognizing her from anywhere. "Yeah, I guess we'll have to see how much brighter it is..." he replied as he looked back to where their opponents had disappeared into a portal a while ago. "What did they want?" He wondered aloud. And I just want to show them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... "I see..." replied Texas. Both Mirai and Sanctum were anomalies and so it would make sense that people both good and bad thought they might have some kind of hidden potential. Heck, Texas himself had a feeling they did. He listened to Anastasia introduce herself. "Texas, Weapon," he replied by way of introduction. Normally he would be a lot more chipper when meeting someone new but circumstances had obviously affected him. And I just want to show them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas blinked as he thought about what Anastasia had said. "Huh...I never thought about it that way before," he replied, trying to wrap his head around her meaning. "Yeah so I just....umm...don't let them taunt me like that again..." He gritted his teeth as he thought about what they said. Mirai had mentioned something about a raven and he had only seen a brief glance of it during their fight, being focused on the attacking enemies. "Mirai, you said there was a raven at the fight? What makes you think it had anything to do with it?" He suddenly really wanted to kill that raven. And I just want to show them.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas laughed at Mirai's first statement. "Woah...a really big demon huh?" Texas said as he thought about it. "That little thing? It just looked like a creepy bird." He looked over at her. "Was it strong?" He asked. He punched his fist into his palm. "And do you think it'll like being set on fire?" He added with a grin. He was getting a little bit of his enthusiasm back now that Mirai was explaining their enemy to him. And I just want to show them.
