Still thinking on what could have been in that other room as Tori ran right into the next room. Slowing down to a stop when she spotted that this room was familiar. Sighing slightly as it had been the room that had the arrows in it, but then she thought that she was near the exit and this room was better than having those ax-blades trying to kill her. Breathing deep as not to panic as she readied herself for the mad dash across that room.

Somewhere between dropping her flashlight and attempting to pick it up, the fear scanner on Reine's wrist- really, all the fear scanners- started to beep. It took a moment for the sound to register, and another for the life trainee to comprehend what the words on the screen really meant.
In mere milliseconds they were being herded back up the stairs- and then back down into the tunnels, in complete pitch darkness. All she heard was Sandy's instructions to find a glyph that looked like a spiral.. before she ran smack into a wall.
Ouch.

He nodded at Sandy and waved at Eva as she went over to the other lever. Wilson stood by it, one hand lightly gripped on the handle as he stayed on standby and watched her search for the third rune. Somewhere along the line he also noticed a few other trainees arrive as well. Occasionally he offered them a nod or smile if he recognized them, but otherwise remained quiet and watchful of Sandy. He broke out into a quick beam as she then figured out the fourth glyph. Wilson looked to Eva to see if she was ready to pull it down, but froze.
There was that familiar clicking sound from way back when. “What was that?” He spoke it more to himself than to anyone else. The trainee let out a shaky breath as he could hear the creature exhaling, moving within the labyrinth. An uneasy Wilson stared down at the platform. That wasn’t supposed to happen, right? He saw the nod from Sandy and again looked at Eva. Through the crowd of trainees he noticed her nod and Wilson turned to pull down the lever.
Except it refused to move. His brows furrowed with confusion. Wilson pushed it again, forcing more of his strength into it, but still it didn’t budge. He looked at Tedan. “I’m not sure. This thing is supposed to move, but it won’t.” Sighing, he turned toward the lever. “I guess we have to do something else to move it, but I don’t know what.”

Sandy gave Eva a concerned glance, pondering her options. When they have moved the levers originally, it had been the Death Hunter and Barney. Maybe they were balanced on a certain pressure that needed Fear to be applied to it- it was worth a shot.
"Barney," she practically whispered, gesturing to Eva's lever. "Can you please take over the lever? Gently." That was more because now was seriously not the time for dramatics or noise that would attract a certain resident in the Lair.

Tedan frowned at the lever and tried to help by pushing down on it a bit, but that was sort of hard what with the arrows and all. The thing still didn't move. "I ... maybe hit it? But that's gonna make a lot of noise.." he murmured, glancing from the lever to Ardavan and back again.

The small, blocky man patted Eva on the back, "Step back, presh, I got this. You stand ready for whatever else this place wants to throw at us, got it?" Clapping his hand together he nodded at Sandra, and held his hand out to the level, not quite touching it. A look of immense concentration stole over his face and began to hum softly, "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...." He closed his eyes.
Was he meditating?!
But then suddenly his eyes snapped open and he gave a shout, "HUAAAAAHH!" And...
...very gently touched the level.
Nothing.
Possibly nobody was very surprised by this.
Possibly gently was a difficult concept for Barney and Killzone had yet to really make any breakthroughs regarding this issue.
He slammed the lever down with another yell, "AIIIIIIIIIIYAAAAAAAAH!" And there may have been a little bit of crumbling and protest on the lever's part, but that ********> moved.

Running across that room at full speed as she wanted to take as least damage that she could and also watching slightly were she was running to where she wouldn't trip and fall.
Just as she got to the end of the room of arrows one of the arrows hits her fear shield and grazes her leg slightly. Still at a full run she spots the elevator and she could also see that there were other there as well. Coming near the elevator she spotted that it wasn't flush with the ground but down a little and Tori started to slow down her run were she wouldn't hurt her ankle with the drop down. Once in side she stopped to catch her breath as she was glad to see the others and hopefully soon they could get out of this place.

Michael gave his Fear scanner a curious glance as it went off again wondering if he'd managed to find another tablet. Though if he had then so must have everyone else with the racket....
He started at the warning on his scanner with blank incomprehension for a second, feeling and hearing the thumps and clicks as he did so.

He glanced towards the dissolving stairs and the other trainees falling off them it what looked like to be a very painful way.
<<-RUN!>>
He took off in a dead sprint to the nearest archway not needing to be told twice.

With a groan, Reine peeled herself off the wall, rubbed her nose to make sure her face hadn't gone completely flat from the impact...
and ran. Into what was not a wall, but a tunnel of sorts. Success!

And then Wilson tried really hard to pull that lever at the same time Barney did. He didn't think it worked.
He looked at Tedan. "I'm not going to do it, but he sure did."

A spur of the moment action made him grab Jordan and pull him in for a tight hug. "Yeah. Yeah boss." He murmured harshly. "It sucked." And it sucked more because Madison wasn't there yet, but he didn't want to voice that thought out loud. He just kept looking ahead, waiting for her to burst through the arrows like the pro she was.

Michael skidded towards the exit still running as fast as he could in the dark, using Nuucha's glowing summoned form to guide the way instead of his flash light to free up hands.
He was never bagging the glowing effect again if he got out of this alive.

It seemed like forever- running and tripping, falling over- if her legs weren't numb from the ice-cold water, she might have noticed the blood running down them from the scrapes on her knees. On the bright side, it kept her running as fast as she could, through the tunnels.
And speaking of 'bright', why had she dropped her flashlight, again?
Finally Reine caught the slightest hint of light- a faint glow at the end of the tunnel. This seemed ominous enough, but light possibly meant freedom instead of death, and she sprinted the rest of the way, pausing only to catch her breath. The long stone tunnel, the illustrations, she had been here before. And on the other side she could see the rest of them.
Almost there, she urged herself, though by this time her legs were practically giving out from underneath her, she was that close to toppling over. Clearly someone needed more stamina- she couldn't have been running for more than ten minutes.

Michael's dead run led him to nearly not being able to stop in time as he barrelled into the room, damn near jumping out of his skin as he saw what was within.
Snakes.
Lots and lots of snakes.
He usually had nothing against snakes, they were pretty cool, but when they were in his way to safety well he would like them to go-
Was that a coral snake?
Oh great. They were poisonous. Or venomous. He could never remember which.
Suddenly feeling incredibly paranoid Michael carefully inched his way along the bridge in the room, careful not to speed and hurt a snake despite Nuucha's near yells to hurry the hell up.
He'd prefer not to get bitten thanks.

Taking a deep breath, Reine propelled herself across the tunnel of arrows. The first thing that hit her was that this time, she wasn't screaming, which was good, because no kidding, that first time had been embarrassing.
And the second thing that hit her was an arrow.
Welp.
