Madison is hugging on pet as they are playing outside the castle, saying she was worried about him, Shades talking to sophie in the.. courtyard I think? Ben is showing the people in town around the marketplace, Alice is playing with Owen and Kyle Alexander is his room, she just got a crown put on her.

((I apologize for the extremely long absence. I had some personal stuff going on that took most of my energy. I'm going to try and get back into gaia and rping. I apologize in advance if I mess up some details along the way.))

Sophie let out a long sigh and stood up from where they had been sitting at the small pond. She looked in the direction of the castle and worry crossed over her face. The prince had rushed off in such hurry. Perhaps she shouldn't have shared her name. Maybe they were going to treat this as some formal kind talk. She glanced in the direction of the exit weighing her options if escaping the country undetected. But would that have implications for her own country. Maybe they would see it as some kind of threat against their kingdom. Her tongue darted out nervously and sensed another. A few meters away in the shadow of a doorway she saw a figure watching her. The man gave her a look of disgust before disappearing back into the building. Normally this wouldn't do anything to her but the way this man had looked. She felt a knot form in her stomach. What else could she do but wait?

Demitri had found the location of the beastial and her companion and observed them from the shadows. He caught her manipulation of the water and his frown only deepened. Jeremy talking about his wants and poisoning the prince's brain with them was one thing. Letting these wild animals into the castle unattended and allow them to speak with the prince was unacceptable. The woman noticed him and he did nothing to hide his disgust at her. With a final glare he turned and walked off to find the king. This could not be allowed to continue.

Sophie let the worry drain from her face as Riordan reappeared. She nodded in understanding. Well sort of. she didn't have royal duties at the moment but knew what a hectic schedule one could have. When he questioned her she remained silent. She hadn't truly come up with a plan for this. Sophie had simply wanted to meet the man she had heard so much gossip about. Swallowing hard she took a long sigh before beginning. "I had heard rumors of you. I thought perhaps they were just a good bid to spread your worth as crown prince or perhaps to deceive other nations. I see now that your intentions are honest which is something I find admirable." She began with a small smile. She was happy that it was true. Maybe she could do something to help her nation.

"Our countries aren't exactly fond of one another. However with your views maybe there could be hope. I understand it is not just your country that would need a better understanding but mine as well. We all must learn and grow to become better. I know that it is too early to say anything so grand but perhaps we could start small. An alliance between you and I? As friends?" Sophie inquired offering her hand to the man. Well there wasn't any taking that back so hopefully she hadn't misread his views.

Sophie's uneasiness as soon as Riordan left was apparent to Jody, but he couldn't think of anything appropriate to say that would help her feel more welcome--at least, not with Demitri lurking. The more he saw of the man, the more Jody disliked him, but he was careful not to let it show on his face or even do anything to indicate that he knew Demitri was there.
It seemed that Sophie had forgotten his presence, which suited Jody just fine. He noticed that as soon as Riordan was around, the Lacertaen seemed to be at ease. As he listened in on their conversation, a faint, unconscious smile spread across Jody's lips. If this sort of thing is already going on now while Riordan is still only a prince, maybe the future less bloody than it seems like it'll be.

Riordan smiled as Sophie spoke kindly of Jeremy, but then frowned and coughed slightly she she mentioned his fondness towards Rose. "Umm, yes. He and Rose are friends. He is well acquainted with her Family." He said trying to cover for his friend, and the girl who was helping him fend off advances from other nobles' daughters.

Loa blinked, then nodded, and with a final glance around her, she was relieved she didn't have to worry about defending her prince right now. Her skin was crawling a little bit just from being so far from home. I'll have to get used to it sometime... Who knows how long that castle will remain my home. At Kaileys comment about broken bones, Loa smiled a bit and gave a nod. "Indeed they would." Giving a nod, Loa set off to follow Kailey's directions, perfectly at ease following orders. "Something to sleep on?" Loa contemplated that, she'd only ever slept in a simple cot or in the trees. What should she set on the ground to sleep? Giving a sigh, she pushed her hair out of her face. "I am far more unaccustommed to this journey than I anticipated being." She was focused on her tasks when Kaileys final statement, and wink, sank in, and she blushed deeply.

Loa blinked, then walked around and started gathering leaves, the only thing she could think of, into a pile, and throwing her blanket- which she had thought to bring- over top of it. "Um... does this work?" Loa wondered if this counted as a nest... Was she building a next with Kailey? Flushing a little bit at that ridiculous thought, she turned around.
