Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________Tarik was following Angela out of the library so she could show him wherever this... cafeteria is. "That is an odd name to call a dining area. Cafeteria." Tarik said with a frown. He waited for her to go through the door but she held it there for him. He glanced at her, looking at her questioningly, not entirely sure what was going on.
And then he realized what was happening. She was mocking him wasn't she? Holding the door open for him as if she was a lowly servant. "From now on, I ought to walk ahead of you if you will play such pranks." Tarik huffed as he headed out the door. He was about to walk ahead and he realized that she was supposed to be leading the way. He crossed his arms.
"Well, after today, I will lead the way. But for now, you are to show me the cafeteria." Tarik said crossly with a frown.

Susan Chang And just like that, everyone had left to go to the cafeteria. Susan didn't follow, she wasn't hungry, and was quite content reading, but she didn't want to sit in the library anymore. 'Hmm, the garden could be nice' she said to herself. BUt she decided to sit in the library.

Susan Chang Susan eventually got bored of sitting in the library... she wanted to sleep. Packing up her things she flung her bag over her shoulder and made her way to her dormitory.

And that was a lot more difficult than it should have been. He looked through the historical section in silence, and eventually found one about the land that Rosentale was built on. He knew quite a bit of the history already, but maybe it would have something interesting that he didn't read about yet. He pulled out the book and was about to go check it out when he heard irritating clacking noises. He flickered out his tongue and frowned when he felt a familiar cold entity by the computer. It just had to be Kasie. He adjusted the froofy thing around his neck (and, yes, he was wearing tights too. Again.) and made his way over to her as quietly as he could. Yep, he was going to try to scare a ghost. When he was behind her, he took a moment to watch what she was searching. Treasure? Hm. Odd. Shrugging it off, he leaned forward until he was near where he assumed her ear would be and said in a rather dull voice, "Boo." ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

The irony was dreadful, but she still flipped out either way. Thank goodness that Markus couldn't see and hear her because she ended up shrieking out a silent "GYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" and slammed her hands down on the keyboard, producing a mesh of "FAWO3S,DB" on her search bar.
After realizing that it was just Markus in tights and a.... frilly thing around his neck, Kasie took a deep breath and glowered at him. Wait, he couldn't see her in the first place. Perfect! Now she could exact her revenge, and she promptly did that by attempting to punch him in the gut. And that was for what he did to her earlier too with that plan with Veith!

He flickered his tongue out with a small grin, wondering if she was mad at him. He wished he could see the look on her face, at least until he felt an invisible fist in his gut. "O-ow, take a joke," He grumbled as he rubbed his stomach, though he was a hypocrite for saying that. He wasn't really one to take jokes well, so he shouldn't have expected it from others. "So, you're looking for treasure? Well, the best place to check is the museum, but I'm guessing you're looking for some sort of... missing treasure?" ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

In order to reply, Kasie quickly made sure to slip through Markus guts were SO gross! and frown. "Yeesh, you're such a jerk. Even if I'm thankful to you and Veith for teaching me how to touch stuff, you're still mean for doing that. Soooooo, as punishment, you're going to help me with research!"
"And it's not missing treasure. It's hidden treasure. A bunch of my friends and I plan to go on a treasure hunt, but the thing is that we didn't even know where to start. Since I offered the idea, it was only right if I went to go find out, but so far, I hit rock bottom. That's why you have to help me!"

He waved the steam away with his hand and sighed. He should have known better than to approach the talkative ghost girl. Whenever he did, bad things happened. Like helping a treasure hunt that was doomed to end in failure. He knew of plenty of myths about hidden treasure around the area, but he didn't want to be forced to go on any big and stupid quests. So, he decided to make up something stupid so she might lose interest, "Well, there is this one myth I've heard... Long ago, on the very land that the nearby mall was built on, this huge family of fairies made a treaty with rival... pixies. And they made this treasure to commemorate the occasion. Hundreds of years later, the pixies broke the treaty, and the treasure was... also broken. One piece was found and is in the museum, while the other is rumored to still be hidden around the site of the treaty." He grinned when he finished with his pile of lies, proud that he managed to make something up on the spot. Hopefully that would keep her busy. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’ - A strange complaint to come
Fairies? Pixies? Mall? Kasie had a really hard time trusting in Markus after the little joke from before, so how could he expect her to trust him now? She raised a brow and grinned. "Really? It sounds to me like you just want to go on a shopping spree. I'm going to go look up that mall really fast because the last time my friends and I made an assumption, we ended up in an abandoned house full of nothing."
Kasie went back to her noisy clacking on the computer, going "poof" as she did. Let's see... She typed in the shopping mall located nearby, but the only thing she was able to gleam off was that it was new. In fact, all the sites listed that. She frowned and reentered the search into something a little more specific like "land before mall was built." It seemed to be built by yada yada. The place was originally owned by blah blah. Waaaaay back, the mall used to be a botanic haven for fairies and pixies--- Oh, snickerdoodles. Was Markus right!?
She invested more time into this particular site, only to discover that there was indeed fairies and pixies existing there but that was it. There was no further mention of what happened to them, any treasures, nadah. Hm.... She phased through the floors and popped back up with a thoughtful look on her face. "I guess you were right about the fairies and pixies, but other than that, I can't seem to get anything else on them."

He didn't even know the difference between fairies and pixies, so for all he knew, his story could have been completely impossible on top of already being fake. He watched as she disappeared and peered over her sh-- no, he didn't have to do that. He just watched right through her as she looked up his fake story, grinning when he saw the article about fairies and pixies actually being around the area. Ha, in her face! He took a step back when she suddenly floated up from the floor, having a hard time getting used to that. At least it was better than having her go through him. "You shouldn't doubt my word. I'm sure I've read more historical books in my life than you have in your life and death. ..." But, how long has she been dead? Was that even impressive? Well, her clothes seemed modern, so maybe she hasn't been around for too long. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

"Touche." Kasie commented with a teasing smile. "I'll make sure not to do that anymore, but I do know for a fact that anyone could read my historical books than me. I hate history! Absolutely loathe the class. It's just so boring you know? Though, I do know that I am older than you unless you're like one of those secretly ancient geezers in disguise. There seems to be a lot of those at our school along with ancient hags. Haha. Oh, I'm also probably better at stalking too. I'm totally beast at that." Yeap. If Markus could gloat, then she was free to do so as well.
"Soooooo, do you say that's good enough information to go for it? I think it's good because even if it's not true, we can get a good shopping trip out of it. Speaking of which, if we are wrong, that means you have to be our lovely pack mule. Hehe." Sorry, Markus. She still had that inkling of doubt still in mind.

He heard something about her stalking, and that was a bit weird, but he wasn't too concerned. If she stalked him, he would be able to sense her cold temperature nearby. He only paid attention when she said that he would have to be their pack mule if he was wrong. Auuughh. Dammit. "No. Hell no. Nonono. I refuse. NO. I mean, if I were wrong. In short, Markus gave her the a-okay because it was soooo obvious that he was paying attention to her the whole time. "So you aren't wrong? Okay, then that means you're coming with!" There will be no objections.
"Aaaaaand, if you're not going to go willingly, I can always spread rumors around the school about you, or I can spread pictures I took of you while you were in the showers~." Bluffs. Even though Kasie liked her gossip, she'd never start them. As for the pictures, she hadn't had the chance to take any. Yet.

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." After stuffing her face with jam and bread and jam and bread, Reilynn wanted to go look for Kasie because treasure hunting was the best when it was done early! Time flies when one is treasure hunting, but maybe that's because Reilynn often gets herself knocked out cold in the middle of it and that just wastes a huge chunk of time. But that's just part of the game of treasure hunting! There are many dangerous in every rock. So she better not smash them open!
She walked into the library. Blegh! Books everywhere! Dusty smelling and dull! Blaaargh! But it's okay. She won't be sticking around long. After wandering and wandering and wandering--darn shelves! Evil! Evil!--Reilynn found Kasie! She was with the heater with a big... um, is that some kind of fashionable neck brace? Because it's not that fashionable. Reilynn reached up and poked it just because she can! Oh yeah! And it was her heater, Markus!
"Did you find out anything about the treasure Kasie?" Reilynn asked her as she turned her attention from what she had been stabbing with her finger because it was fun. "I'm stoked! I can't wait to see what kind of treasure we'll be finding!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"
